Yeah they are nice figures but your right the price is a real factor when your trying to juggle funds etc. I have been scoring a lot of Starwars 1/6th lately. I have been mostly interested in the Droids and Imperial troops. Im not so bothered about the heroes etc. They go well with my 1/6 Cybermen and Red Dwarf Kryten. Also they fit well with 1/48 Yammies. I have all the 1/6 Imai macross characters but mostly they are not too hot on the faces so they are there as a mint in box type thing. I do have a DYRL Minmay extra which I will build sometime but this will need some modding to look better IMO.

I hate it when that happens. I have some 20+ year old kits from Tamiya the decals will probably do that. Im gonna copy them and use the replicas just in case.

So its the Macross Equivalent to the Sneaker in ROTJ.

It would be nice to see one oficially made but I doubt they will bother.

As for the first pic that looks abit like the Dark Valk as discussed in anothe thread at the mo. The second one I have some line art in one of my books showing a Valk with misiles atached to the tail fins in fighte rmode.

I`d be happier still if they were 1/6th scale as I have really got into 1/6th figures of late. Only problem would be that they would likely cost the earth.

Its just a shame they are so expensive to upgrade and use nowadays. Never get viruses when online with an Amiga and none of that pointless hacker software crap works eaither. IIRC Its a VF19 E. A long time ago I had a web based write up on the conversion done to make a Hasegawa kit into one, But Ive managed to loose it. Im trying for the life of me to remeber where I read about it.

Based on that in the U.K you`ll have to wait untill at least 2010 to see it all. Good job I can bittorent. :>

Sorry guys I have been away working and not had net access Got some pictures of the arm mod unfortunately I cant find the before I covered it all in filler pictures so here go`s with what I have with some explanations too help. In the first picture you can see the arm with mod and a thin 1mm strip of styrene glued and filled over the top. I was going for a more Yamato looking forearm. The green line (was supposed to be an arrow) is where I recon you could slice off some plastic to give the arm even more bend ablilty, It wouldnt show as its hidden by the body mostly. The second one gives a kinda side on profile of the moded bit including an un moded shoulder (apart from ball joint). zanderwitaz Good to see you. My CF is a bit wobbly even before I put some FP`s on it. Its was brand new still sealed in the box, yet my NSIB hikkie 1J was stiff as iron. 1/60`s were a whole random thing when it came to displaying.

O.K for those who dont know what is FLIR and Lantirn. I asume that FLIR is Forward Looking Infra Red but what does it do ?

How weird the U.K box set doesnt have it in it`s separate. It starts with the first episode of season one.
