Just finished the series. To tell the truth I hated the series at first, found it annoying, disliked a lot of the crap in it. But wow, I actually loved Basara's singing and I can't keep his songs out of my head. I really never expected his music to get through in the end, I really didn't.

And remember how the Macross Quarter landed down? It's exactly how the SDF-1 is position on Macross Island, I remember them showing the same viewing angle when it was in the ocean from the T.V show. Edit: Here we go, hell it would make a nice wallpaper.

As the title says, usually at night MW forums tend to slow down and sometimes I can't even access the site for a good 5-10 minutes, even then I just give up. Anyone else dealing with this issue? I've been letting it go for awhile but now it's a point in which I'm starting to get annoyed.

I'm watching it at the moment, currently on episode 16 and so far it's alright. What I can't stand is Basara's way of fighting, you got a a VF-19 and all your doing is singing in it, he even stops Mylene from blasting the enemy. What the ****!? Isamu needs to smack him across the face and show him how singing 24/7 won't get you anywhere.. I don't even get how he is avoiding all those attacks in battle by simply playing with his guitar. And good god I hate the music so much, I'm alright with it at first but dammit hearing the same tune in every episode is just piss off. The idea was probably to imitate DYRL through out show due to the time period (our time period of music) and I think it's done badly. Let alone that the story and character development of the Jenius family and Gamlin, I can tolerate that. So far its starting to even out for me, so I don't hate it. Excuse my rant but I think it needed to come out.

Still doesn't make sense on why it was picked out. Any other Macross fleet can be on the galaxy's rim too.

I still don't get why out of all the fleets they had to show Macross 11? Why not 15, 16, 17, or some other fleet? What made 11 so special?

I'm curious to how the Global even got to Gallia, from Earth. Considering that its not too far off from the center of the galaxy/milky way. I didn't expect the ship to even go out that far, considering its a Macross Class ship, how is that possible? I'm guessing folding is the culprit but they stumbled upon the the planet and colonized it, but I still don't get it. And why did they use the SDF design anyways? It doesn't make sense to me that they would use a 50 year old ship design when they are more then capable of building and using something far better. Edit: Grammar.

Maybe Macross II can be placed late in the original Macross timeline? Maybe like past the year 2100+ late? Hey anything is possible people.

Very nice dubs, I gotta be honest the Ranka Lee just about nailed it but I was a bit disappointed with Alto's voice over. But without a doubt its impressive that you guys can get the voices mixed in with the ambiance let alone do it over the japanese dub. Out of curiosity, have you or anyone in your group received request/job offers to work on official dubs? Don't want to be mean in getting a disappointing answer but I'd really like to know.

Honestly that Alto looks like ****, the face is just not fitting to the wig and the face is just ugh its too plain, clean, and I don't know. He (She?) just doesn't look right. Edit: Damn forum censoring.
