  1. The theater did have 3D, I remember specifically asking my son why they didn't pass out the 3D glasses. I guess they have it both in 3D and not 3D. Maybe a decision of the theater in light of Covid-19. Who knows now days. Great movie though, but long. Over 3 hours.... Twich
  2. It is weird, I also have the same problem with my Hi-Metal R VF-2SS Nexx custom. Maybe it is a Bandai thing. Twich
  3. Saw this last night with my son. Was very good, the CGI was definitely top notch, wish that it had been released in the jaw-dropping 3D like the first movie. Definitely enjoyed and hope they follow through with more sequels. Twich
  4. I hope that they can pull it off. I'm still enjoying the hell out of Warhammer 40k Inquisitor Martyr since the upgrade to PS5 and can't wait for the sisters of battle DLC. Twich
  5. for this to be a "hot damn" fighter, the stats are rather lackluster. I would not call this an upgrade, but rather a large downgrade, ala VF-17 to VF-171. Twich
  6. Thank you for answering! Twich
  7. I believe we would do well with master files on the VF-171, VF-27, YF-29, SV-262 and YF-30. I know I would buy any and all of those. Twich
  8. Is anyone else noticing that their feet/thrusters on this toy don’t completely close while in fighter mode? Anyone have any suggestions for this? Thanks! Twich
  9. Are the new Arcadia 1/60 YF-19 with Fast Packs with the 40th Anniversary logo on it for sale still? I am only finding used previous releases of this toy on Mandarake. Twich
  10. I know the during the latest event, there was a lot of news concerning future Bandai releases, but was there any update on Arcadia’s 1/60 VF-5000? Is there a release date that I missed? Twich
  11. I have this pre ordered. While I don’t read Japanese, I enjoy the pictures, and who knows what little nuggets we might glean from it. Twich
  12. I’m sorry, I guess that I didn’t complete my thought well enough with my statement. I was meaning that the tech level was earth level, meaning full spec reaction engines and materials that keep those emigrants from rising up against earth because earth has the full spec tech. I was hoping that by knowing what the stats are for this, we could reasonably understand just how much more powerful the earth spec VF-24 is, or whatever has replaced it for Earth main variable fighter. Twich
  13. So here is a question, does the group Heimdall come from, or are supplied from earth? The reason that I ask is that we have discussed that due to restrictions, a redacted and downgraded spec of the VF-24 was sent out to Emigrant fleets for use as a Variable Fighter. We have supposed that the stats for an Earth Spec VF-24 exceed even that of the prototype YF-29 Durandal. Would it be reasonable to expect that the stats for the SV-303 used by Heimdall would come close to that of the Earth Spec VF-24? What are people’s thoughts, since it seems we will never get the stats of any VF from the second Macross Delta movie. Twich
  14. So, with the revival Bandai DX Chogokin VF-25F Super Set Alto custom revival version (try saying that 3 times fast), it comes with Alto in his ex-gear on a little stand. Is this new, or did it come with the renewal version of the toy. Thanks! Twich
  15. Okay, cool! Thank you for telling me. I hope I will find this under the Christmas tree. Twich
  16. Thanks for the replies guys! With Christmas coming up and this being available for sale from BBTS, the wife might surprise seem Christmas morning! Twich
  17. So, is this version of the YF-29 the same as the YF-29 Durandal Full Set Pack alto use? Does it have more Tampo on it? I know it has the Jenius family crest itashi on the back, but any other improvements? I dig the color and the YF-29 is one of my favorite Macross designs! Twich
  18. I think the only sticky point would be how they would do the wings and what method they use to make the wings stiff and not floppy. Also, bandai would have to only have permanently attached wings, dont know how they could make removable wings for that, unless they do flat wings, wings with wing boosters and then the articulated wings that are molded that way. Either way, as one of the biggest variable fighters out there, it would be a giant box if they include the accessories that they should. Twich
  19. I would really like to see the VF-0B and VF-0C that the Variable Master File says were produced for the UNS Marines. I think that all the versions of both the VF-0 and SV-51 would make great Hi-Metal R Macross jets! Twich
  20. I really like the new design choices for the Hi Metal R VF-0S and it looks like this is carried over to the VF-0D Shin custom, and I hope that we are able to see the full line of VF-0's: VF-0A, VF-0B, VF-0C, VF-0D, VF-0D Shin Custom and VF-0S, and I hope they are able to also make a solid SV-51. As someone pointed out previously in this thread, the size and price make it so it is very enticing to "collect them all" Twich
  21. I maybe in the minority here, but I really enjoyed and enjoy the whole franchise of movies to include the kingdom of the crystal skull. There is just something about the whole series that makes it so endearing to me. I look forward to seeing this movie and adding it to my collection when the time comes. Twich
  22. Thank you, I will look into this when I am done this work stretch! Twich
  23. I bought a 3D printer for my wife, a Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro. I was wondering if anyone could provide some help/links or anything to a place where I could download .stl files for stands for Macross Jets. I found a stand on Thingaverse, that was a copy of the stand that Arcadia boxed with the Arcadia 1/60 VF-1J 30th Anniversario release, and that worked very well for my Arcadia 1/60 VF-1J 35th Anniversary edition, but I also have a Arcadia 1/60 VF-4A Hikaru use and a Bandai DX Chogokin VF-27Beta V1. I know that the flightpose and yeti stands are not available, and I cannot find a stand that bandai put out for the VF-27 V1 and I know that Arcadia has the simple stand for 1/60, but $60 plus shipping from Japan is a bit steep for me. I am not trying to rip anyone off, but I would like to maybe have some suggestions as to a good direction to look. Thank You, Twich
  24. I am looking forward to this toy from Bandai. I am not able to really find or afford the Arcadia 1/60 VF-0's or SV-51's. I have always loved the mechanics from Macross Zero and wish that I am that there is an affordable option. This is that option. While some may not like it, I am in love with my Bandai Hi Metal R VF-0S and the fact that I can get it for 12000-15000 yen or $169 from BBTS as opposed to the $400-$800 price tag for the premium finish version from Arcadia. Do I think the Arcadia version is superior? Absolutely! But I can more easily get my wife to approve a $170 toy than a $500 one. Twich
