    I'll check those latter 2 out, I already tried watching Enen no Shouboutai but I can't remember why I dropped it.

    Oh so that's why it had a boring MC guy and the ladies were blushing red... Thanks. I'll just avoid that franchise from now. So I just finished a rewatch of Kimetsu no Yaiba, was looking for some more recent fight-filled stuff. Is Re-Zero any good later? I tried to watch a few eps but I get turned off by the repetition (redoing the day all over again). (Also found KonoSuba funny but not up for a rewatch of it.) If not I'll search my done anime for rewatch candidates.

    What is the primary appeal of Sakura Wars? I've tried to watch the anime (old and new) and I just seem to lose interest in the characters. The mecha were the main draw but I just can't continue watching an anime if I don't care for the characters.

    Anime is a lot better action-wise, because it's been condensed or details added. As for print I'm holding off on buying. Hopefully shipping/economy goes back to normal next year, I haven't been in the mood to buy anything physical from overseas since March. Also if you got the Banner print book, could you compare Lafiel's words there with the anime (last lines in Banner OVA, the one after the meal with Till and his wife)? The anime line was so different from the translated one, but the anime line was spoken in English (in the JP version). I actually prefer the anime line, made more sense to me.

    Lol I love the "space elves in spandex". The POV is biased but that was how the author intended to write it--from the POV of the 2 main characters who are of course, Abhs. Currently JNovel Club is putting out the English translated ebooks (with eventual print editions). I've got all the ebooks out so far. Translation isn't 100% flowing but I support it since I want to know what happens in the later books. There were fan translations before but they were scrapped eventually. Looking at the pictures I am really envious of those who got the art/design books. Of course at the time they came out I was probably oblivious to its existence and would never have bought them anyway.

    I imagine there's going to be lots of embellishments, the Robot novels were better for a visual medium like film/series. Not sure I want to be disappointed. I may get the itch to read them again, but I sold my books (prequels/original/sequels) a long time ago.

    Covid has really f*cked up business, just imagine the lost sales due to shipping difficulties. I myself have stopped ordering stuff from overseas, fearing that packages will get stuck if a lock down/quarantine is imposed. I'm hoping things improve by the 4th quarter as there are some gunpla I want to order. On the other hand, I got extra $$$ but they will be spent on house fixes etc. Sorry Bandai, HLJ, NY, Amazon

    Aside from the obvious anime I'm also into Gundam/gunpla, light novels/SF novels etc, inking/watercolors, collecting artbooks and graphic novels. The latter (print books) has taken a hiatus though due to Covid and belt-tightening. I have future huge expenses coming up, the hobbies will have to take a back seat for now.

    I just recently finished the 1st season of Re-rise, and I like it a lot better than the original Build Divers. Now I wanna catch up with the 2nd season!

    I finished my HG Leo Space Type. I realized I'm not a fan of the color as it is, it needs a top coat at the least. Thankfully I only bought one. I hope the Flight Type is better. But I plan on doing the Maganac next for variety.

    Oh well I don't have to worry about missing out on it this year. On the other hand, maybe I should have gotten that other artbook of his. But until the quarantine is over (or when JP stores can ship to me), my money goes to panic buying groceries and meds.

    Congrats Shizuka! Look at it this way. When you earn money, you can buy a lot more valks instead! (Enabler mode off) Seriously, my hobbies are my inspiration to keep on working. Although with Covid-19 I've really been just scratching off a lot of items on my buying wishlist. But once I'm done with some insurance payments next year I'm gonna be back to my shopping spree online!

    I hate the idea of having to miss this movie, but I am pessimistic that Covid-19 is gone in less than a year. I would have loved to see this in theatres but I'm not going to a movie theatre until summer 2021, or there's a vaccine for the virus and I get one. Sorry Disney, I'm not in the mood for movies right now. I feel like a 2nd wave is dangerous because by that time people will be fed up with having to stay at home. (I am less than 2 weeks in staying at home and I'm already getting stressed at the lack of mobility.) Around Christmas time people will want to go on parties/dinners. I'm not into parties but I like dinners (eating immediately? yay!) so I hope coronavirus is contained but realistically who knows. I myself want that tourists/non-essentials be restricted from entering the country but people will starve if the economy falters so it's a hard choice.

    Congrats! Eat healthy and get plenty of sleep whenever you can. On topic: I haven't actually posted my latest haul. I have not spent much this year--because of course I spent a lot last year T_T My first 2 months of 2020 was paying off a company loan. I'm also saving up for RL expenses like home improvements, and this coronavirus pandemic has also added to the expenses. I had to buy masks and medicines just to make sure I have my own stock (not hoarding levels though).
