    Thanks, sadly don't have the budget yet right now. I'm planning to go back to Japan in later half of the year if I am able to save up enough. If not, I'll re-consider AFA SG depending on the line up. And Happy New Year!

    You're not the only one who's sick. And it has seriously blocked progress on my gunpla building. Sucks to have wasted vacation time by being sick. Anyway, would like to attend one of these Xmas concerts someday. The only (main?) problem would be getting tickets.

    Thanks! I have some people in mind (ex-coworkers) who are in Japan. Though only a few I think have good Japanese-language skills. This one! I went to AFA once and there were not one but TWO big guys in front of me! Haven't had the motivation to go to another AFA since then.

    For the concerts in Japan, were you able to buy from Japanese websites easily? Or would it be better if I have somebody already in Japan buy it for me?

    I liked the movie. It's not great, it feels like some scenes are lacking or were cut. It could have been longer. I blame this on the director or the editing. In the first Captain Marvel movie there were some scenes with Jude Law's character that were cut that could have elevated that movie more. Maybe we'll see some of it later on for this movie. Kamala Khan was funny and nice like a breath of fresh air, I haven't seen her series but I know enough background so I was not so lost about the character. On the other hand I saw WandaVision so I knew about Monica. But super casuals might get confused? Or will it drive them to watch the series? The fight choreography was good I think. Maybe the editor burned out making those fight scenes look good? haha. (Though not Winter Soldier good.) Anyway, I made a loud 'oooohhh' at the end credits scene. Only me and my sister knew what it meant it seems. The other moviegoers were kind of silent.

    17 years later?? I feel really old now. Anyway, I think there's still good anime being made just not as much as in the past. I also have learned to temper expectations and just enjoy whatever I can. The mecha genre though has really declined.

    What's Yoko Kanno up to these days? Those Macross Frontier live concerts were amazing. In my opinion that was the peak of Macross music. Who else do you have in mind? I'm thinking Sawano would be a great improvement over Delta music, but I'm coming up zero on singers. Usually they do go with new faces but I'm hopeful they make good choices.

    Thanks! I'm now going through decals on Amazon JP. Locally I'm looking at some G-Rework brand decals. Does anyone have any experience with this? By the way, those looking for Calibarn and Aerial Rebuild, these seem to be in stock right now at Amazon JP. I ordered mine locally, since I still can't forget the recent incident of customs delaying my package. I'm actually waiting on several kits I ordered from local sellers.

    I'm looking into buying decals for 1/144 kits, I want markings for Zeon units mainly. What are the better 'brands'? I'm not really familiar what's good or not so good.

    I don't have any recollection of those artists in her lineup lol. I checked out the other artists for the Sunday lineup, would have liked to listen to Nami Tamaki's Gundam SEED songs. But I wish May'n had new anime songs for popular series. ref: And is Hololive really that popular enough to get the whole Saturday slot? Is it just going to be a screen with talking cartoons? I'm thinking that could get boring fast.

    I haven't used EMS for years now. I'm buying more from local shops since the shipping fees have gotten really big. And my packages from abroad also get held by customs more frequently. Thankfully just emails thru the DHL rep will resolve it.

    Yeah, but it will have Insta/FB algo. I'd rather avoid using those (I do have an FB account but I rarely log in).

    Nice! The icons are actually helpful in guiding you to the preferred action. That said I think the most useful search type is by series. And the Full Mechanics search doesn't find anything.

    Thanks for that, though it's already ended. Will be looking for it somewhere... Anyway, if Twitter really goes to sh!t, will there be any alternatives for fast news/info? I don't like Facebook/Instagram algorithm, so I guess if the worst happens it will be back to stone age (forums and blogs) for me lol.

    Yep I already built the 1/20 kit. It was good but something smaller is also tempting. I think I'll wait for reviews first then order later.

    Will this mean other mecha from Votoms have possibility of releasing HG in the future? I got the 1/20 Votoms but the box was way too big.
