  1. Oh, I see. Incremental improvements from binning. I wouldn't say they're just now doing it, though. They were doing that even with their first-gen Ryzen stuff - the 1700, 1700X, 1800X, etc. And their 3950X consists exclusively of binned silicon. Are these new chiplets also a result of TSMC refining their 7nm process? Maybe binning and node refinement are one and the same... Similar to Global Foundries refining their 14nm process into a "12nm" process for second-gen Ryzen and the first-gen AF parts. TSMC refining their 7nm process (maybe it could be considered a... 7nm+?) would probably increase the share of "up-binned" chiplets yielded per wafer, and while these chiplets would in the past have been exclusively featured on the 3950X, now that demand for that CPU has been suitably met, AMD can allocate those chiplets to CPUs lower down the stack. It would've been nice to see a Ryzen 3000 equivalent to the 1600AF... A Ryzen 3600 created on a "7nm+" architecture that sells for something stupid like $150? I would be all over that just like I was all over the 1600AF back when it first came out for $85.
  2. It'll come after the Bloodbourne remaster, which is coming after the Demon's Souls remaster. I wish, anyway.
  3. I thought I might enjoy Hamefura, but four or five episodes in and I'm not really feeling it. It just doesn't have the zany wackiness I expected from its premise. Mah... Oh well.
  4. According to this... ...the three new design features appear to be 1) removable head fin with a spare included 2) new hip joints 3) new/reinforced wing engine pivots?
  5. What's the name of that isekai where a girl gets reincarnated as the villainess of a fantasy game and screws up the story and getting everyone to fall in love with her?
  6. I couldn't wait 'til 2 in the morning, so oh well guess I'm missing out. From what I read a few pages ago, there were three major updates: 1) the horn is removable, with an extra included 2) the hips are a three-screw design instead of one large screw (to better distribute pressure?) 3) something about the wing engines, probably strengthened rotation? Were these three things a problem at all on the original? I remember the Isamu YF-29 I had didn't have much of any problem in the hips or the wings. (The head horn obviously would be inapplicable to it.) People were saying the hips are carried over from the VF-31 toys? Since I never got into the Delta toys, what's the advantage of those over the original(/VF-25 v2s)?
  7. No one I ever want to meet.
  8. So the announcement was just that photo, yes? No one knows yet if it's a new tooling or the (still totally fine) old one, right? I have to wonder again at the logic behind this. It's already a Katoki design. What more is he going to do to it? Aside from new armor panels with more tick marks and the like, the usual Katoki spruce-em-up fare, I don't see what they can possibly do to distinguish it from the original. Maybe actual down and feathers that you have to individually insert into a plastic membrane wrapped over an articulated skeleton?
  9. So I'm guessing I'm not too late to get in on this? Where/when should I be F5ing?
  10. Yes, I also quite enjoy dark-skinned tomboys with short hair and boxing gloves.
  11. I've been curious. With the launch (or, well, maybe "the actually putting work into making functional" is more apt) of the US P-Bandai site, does that render the Bluefin site obsolete? There are still P-Bandai kits available on the Bluefin store that aren't on the P-Bandai site, and vice versa; some kits show up on both, with different prices. If you order from P-Bandai, do you have to eat international shipping costs, or is it distributed through Bluefin (ie domestic shipping)? Thanks in advance.
  12. Oh hey, Walkure are super popular, that's great. SO WHERE THE FLUFF ARE MY WAIFU FIGURES!?!?!?!?
  13. I just received a notification email for an Ebay order that was shipped via DHL saying that my order was delivered today around noon... which is obviously impossible, because neither DHL nor USPS are delivering on Memorial Day. I'm hopeful it's just some sort of weird clerical error and the item'll be in the mailbox tomorrow, but assuming it isn't, what would be my recourse? Just contact the seller, have them either trace the item with DHL or issue a refund? It's a cheap little thing, only like $20 or so, but I'd rather just have the thing than have to fish about for an alternative. The only tracking number I received from the seller was a USPS one, which made tracking via the DHL site a no-go; I have no idea what the waybill number might have been.
  14. Been meaning to ask this for a while. @slide shared a bit ago this pic comparing the VF-4A and G (from IIRC Master File). Is this accurate, or just something they made up in lieu of any "canon"? Is this a Hornet/Super Hornet, Fighting Falcon/Viper Zero (USAF F-16/JASDF F-2) situation?
  15. You can tell they're all related, though. They all transform very similarly. Their "trunk" sections are basically the same. Part of the reason why the Draken III was such a big draw to me was because of how different it was from the YF-24 derivatives in terms of its overall shape and how that affected its transformation. IIRC, the original pitch for Delta was two competing civilian flight demonstration/idol groups, which I would have vastly preferred to what we got. The VF-31 and SV-262 could even still feature as the two sides in a neighboring war that the main story gets dragged into or something. But have the demo teams flying non-VFs or civilian VF-1s/-4s or even VF-9s, that definitely looks the most "trainer"-y of the various VF designs. Bah. Anyway.
  16. I frickin' love this channel.
  17. Yo that's real nice. Couldn't put in some actual mirrors, though? 0/10 Welcome to the forums, enjoy your time here.
  18. The GN-U Dou YF-19 remains the best rendition of its battroid mode. The toys based on CG models almost seem like cheating, they're too spot on.
  19. In case any of you were feeling nostalgic for Cowboy Bebop:
  20. That is beautiful stuff. It occurs to me now that I've never been airborne, ever. Gonna need to rectify that right quick...
  21. https://files.catbox.moe/lri66x.webm I'm sure this scene makes sense in context, but boy is it goofy as hell.
  22. Okay, so this IS a sequel, then? Not another standalone (hurr) universe? I know the "SAC" would imply it's set in specifically the SAC version of GitS, but just asking for sure.
