    Great for travel for consuming content on planes and airports. Great for discreetly consuming content when you don't want to rope in other folks... watched Alien Earth while my littles were watching Bluey. For the glasses that look semi-normal ish and don't impair your vision... Great for consuming training classes, certification prep, or news at work in between meetings or tasks. Even driving around/commuting while letting the material passively play in the background - essentially an amped-up ebook experience. They have their use cases for people even if they don't for you.

    That is awesome. I thought it was a statue at first, but then I googled it and saw it's a figure. Comes with a nice pricetag, too O_o.

    Will do, it'll be my first Moderoid. I thought about getting the hi spec, but apparently this one is better. That's why I picked up the Retroid Pocket 6, but that little 35-40 buck machine does the job, too, and it's more convenient. It'll take some time to configure the retroid properly. If you want to tinker and have patience - the retroid is better. If you want something that's playable out of the box, the R36S might be better.

    Here are the other two... They're identical spec-wise, both have a # of R36S, but the software on them differ. Got one used for $35 and the other new for $40. They're fantastic for the price, arguably better than the Retroid Pocket dollar for dollar... Even though the Retroid is way nicer. Both play everything up to Dreamcast/PS1 fine so far. If you like retro games and you find one, check it out.

    Picked up a Retroid Pocket 6 little bit ago, too. FB Marketplace 4tw. Small haul of little handheld actually. Still checking out the other 2, but this one is perfect!

    Still waiting on that broader TB5 support. That will be a bigger game changer for me. Until then, these marginal gains aren't worth it - they're outpaced by the runaway pricing changes.

    I use acrylic nesting shelves I found on Amazon to elevate my homies in the back. Here's where I shifted around to fit Daitarn 3. Moved my mini Dairugger, Daltanias, and Combattler down with them, too so they could join the era family better. I think I can move Dai Apollon down if I slide Daitarn's accessories back and left. The minis are super convenient and cool - they offer all the transforming and combining gimmicks while taking up so little room.

    You know, with today's graphics power I think there's an opportunity to remake spectacular rail shooters... Panzer, Sin & Punishment, etc... Haven't they updated light gun technology so it's usable with current-gen displays? They were simple, but so much fun.

    Yeah, I'm an SUV guy so I was looking at a Suburban. I got noped, had to be a van. Then I was leaning towards the Sienna, got noped, had to be an Odyssey. Plot twist: Wife sold Hondas for years and was absolutely dead set on the Odyssey - I had no chance to begin with. Happy wife, happy life. You can take that to the bank.

    So... ah... maybe not as exciting as some of the other cars... but... I bought a loaded 2026 Honda Odyssey Elite. Not much of a flex, but I paid cash for it? Picking it up once the factory delivers it. My other car is an EV6 GT and despite it being a KIA it'll smoke the vast majority of cars on the road and is fun to drive - so that's my offset, yeah. Besides that. Pretty sure I'm turning into my dad now - queue that insurance commercial.

    I enjoyed this show. I get the cheesy tropes and stupidity, but I give the show grace and call it campiness. I don't know that aside from Alien: Isolation (putting the player in the hot seat), we'll be able to invoke the level of horror that Alien did - and I don't know that I'd want that to begin with. Alien is one of the greats and I doubt you can ever re-create the theater feel of that subject matter breaking for the first time. Aliens... Again, one of the greats for me. It's hard for me to imagine topping this movie - the Alien with ALL the 80's over-the-topness. Remember, the only one in the movies that really understood how screwed everyone was all along was the cat. I do not agree with Alien: Earth sitting above these two on Rotten Tomatoes... That's a travesty... but for a TV "show" I think it has been great. Looking forward to next season where I hope the success of the first gives them a bigger budget for the effects and they use it wisely.

    I mean, I've always wondered how a Legioss could fly in any gravity in the first place. It's cool to see the Baldois I bought in the background there. I agree on this being a soldier mode queen... but that's why we have Sentinel... This thing is going to be an imposing 13" tall in the Mospeada cabinet.

    I just did that, but it didn't seem that bad. The transfer looked like it would take forever, then wrapped up really quick. Mine defaulted to the slower 2.4 band. The moment I flipped it to the 5/6 band it took off like a rocket. The new MK is lots of fun except for Donkey Kong being a menace.

    After moving my kiddos into college, stopped by Wally World to snag some odds and ends... Caught a young fellow stocking 4 of these... I thought to get all of them, but settled on one... They had the microsd card deeply discounted, too...

    I'm at 150" 1440p from 12-13 feet away. Looks spectacular. My desktop is a 34" ultra wide @ 1440p, also looks spectacular. Maybe that's a little subjective though, but 24-27" just seems small anymore. x3D processors are fantastic.
