  1. I'm only part way through Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, but it's really good so far. engine wise, it's like a mix between PS1 era Lunar, & Grandia.
  2. Interstella 5555 is out on bluray in October!
  3. They already have, not for broadcast, but for a cheap vanity-press lke DVD release.
  4. But we did get a young uncoventional captain who gathers together misfits & lets's them run amok for lucky win success. Spock even filled the Yamamoto role, as did Pike the Admiral Hanner role.
  5. Duke, "magic." : As for the episode in general, definately some nice backstory,
  6. That Max & Milia in bed picture is hilarious!
  7. You know, not counting original series releases, I wonder how many copies of Robotech that the remaining fanbase owns now.
  8. I don't even know who you are, why you're posting here, or what you're talking about. But I can only assume your random rage against these films is your own personal way of showing how much you love the epic-awesomeness contained within.
  9. I actually watched a marathon of that like 15 or so years ago, and yeah, it was a pretty epic way to completely miss the point of the movie.
  10. The Yune regime will never learn to connect with fans. Why? Because they are feral fanboys themselves, and their nature is to try to be the top of the feral fanboy hill. The problem with that? Fanboys are infamous for never turning out anything other than shitty fanfic, by their nature they are "not" creative, and incapable of seeing anything outside of what was already made. This is why such people should "never" be in charge of a franchise. So on one hand, of course they don't want to share information, since that could potential put other fans on "equal terms" in regards to what they know. And on the other hand, they can't share information, since people would immediately see that they're shysters....which is way old news As for the pie, you'd think being attacked by their own kind would have made them think about how they're handling things, but obviously all it id was empower them to do it harder.
  11. Didn't we already get Captain Tylor with the recent ST reboot? Think about it.
  12. OMG another year? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I hope 3 & 4 are released close together, since that means we won't get any blurays until mid/late 2013 in Japan, and closer to 2014 in the U.S. What a freakin' agonizing wait. On the bright side, eyepatch Auska is definately hot.
  13. I personally don't think they should go back to TV. Stick with the current movie franchise for a while. As for the vague plot, sounds suspiciously Blake's 7'ey.
  14. Third Strike Online Edition is AWESOME...once you unlock the older music mixes
  15. Wow, I barely even remember that anime jump existed to be honest.
  16. That's ok, that was actually a Ferngully trailer. I wish I had stuck with not watching Avatar myself, but what's done is done.
  17. I'm a bit confused here, are you farming out for people to shop the rest of your collection or what? I'm finding it a bit hard to reconcile the looking for 80's anime fans with selling off your 80's anime DVD's. Especially since I suspect you're keeping some sort of "copies" of those disc's too. But I don't really want to get into that. What I don't see is why you'd want to limit yourself to the 80's. There have been a ton of great series through out the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's & current. The old MW's haven't really gone anywhere, some from AFM never crossed over, a few have dropped off, and I'll be damned if I can keep track of the name changes. But the rest of us are right here, and many keep up iwth the new fangled anime that these kids today are watching!
  18. Wait a minute? So all anyone had to do was hit Voltron's shield & all the pilots would get spit out? Don't the other bad guys feel stupid!
  19. I never had any illusions of not getting it, but I sure feel a lot better about it after all of this news.
  20. The greatest AMV that has ever and will ever exist.
  21. I wouldn't count on much EU stuff in general, fanfiction is fanftiction, whether it's officially licensed or not.
  22. You have to look at it this way. The Clone Wars were a Sith plot to take control of the republic. At the time, the Jedi were the republic's main peace keeping force, there was no need for an organized main military force, though each world did seem to have its own smaller force. It was easy enough to work up an army for the Seperatists, since they were using droids. But in order to expediate the whole process, the Republic also had to have a main military force, which is why Plagueis/Sidious or whichever one was pretending to be Sifo Dyas ordered up the Clones. Now I doubt they went back to "normal" after order 66, since that could pose other problems, but once the Republic/Empire was under control, there was no longer a need for "quick" troops, and Storm Troopers could be recruited leisurely from the Empire as a whole.
