Some do, some not so much. The Shadow is essentially the same as all the other MPCs so you have the same chance of getting one that won't sit on its chest as you do with any of the others (I'd say 50/50). Also, I've seen quite a few toys now that the people who complain the most about the arched backs of the Alphas haven't transformed them properly (it's absolutley essentially you get the crotch tabs all the way into the legs. Here's a pic of one of my Shadows, no matter what I did I couldn't get it any flatter than this: On a side note though, I don't have any of my vehicles posed sideways at exactly eye level. This is by far the least flattering angle to look at the Alpha. It looks decent from others:

Yeah, Graham asks a good question... I answered only what I own now and what I have pre-ordered.

I went with the VF-1. We got the Stealth and LVII non-canon valks last year and while I completely shunned them here on the boards I really warmed up to them once I actually had them in hand. The 0A would probably get my vote for next year. This year we only got a flawed 0S and a 0A with shoulder issues and no name (not even CF!). Next year it'll probably be a rock 'em sock 'em brawl between Shin's 0A and the VF-19A

Not to worry Kyp, it looks like a pretty good start (I'm a huge Alpha/Legioss fans so you'll catch no flack from me there). The MPC does look a lot better when properly stickered and the 0S is just a pretty bird.

If it makes you feel better, Nani says the giftset color is completely wrong too (I haven't watched in a while, I can't say for sure). Honestly though, I think the drone looks like it'd go better with the VF-0S than Shin's version.

I don't think any of this is confirmed. The "drone" version looks completely capable of being affixed to an VF-0 by simply removing the head and changing the canards. I'm not a betting man but I think the "drone" version will have all the accoutrements of the Shin gift-set version.

Can anyone else picture Sketchley taking a tour at the future's Tree Museum? Makes perfect sense, in a tree museum there won't ever be rain and they could keep the birds out so we can avoid being pooped on.

Honestly, it's been a while since I've watched so maybe one of the other members could answer better. I just remember being like during some of the songs. In comparison, I was like this during Mac7 , like this during Macross , and like this during Mac+ . The genres in Mospeada, IIRC, were more rock/pop. I think Yellow would sing sultry-like occasionally and rock out occasionally and if I'm not mistaken they used two different voice actors for when he was singing girl style and talking like a girl vs when he spoke/sang manly. Man, it has been a really long time since I watched. You know, I must say that Robotech's New Gen did alright by me as far as the music went. I kind of liked the RT Yellow singing songs that could be construed as a call for insurgence... I don't think you get that at all in Mospeada.

Pictures of this thing head on really make me think the legs are too far apart. Does anyone get this impression also or is it just an optical illusion I'm fabricating? Edit - I believe the outside part of the hip should line up perfectly with the armpit (going by human anatomy) but I think this toy comes closer to having the inside part of the leg line up with the armpit. That might also be from angling the legs out though...

You wanna bet me on whether or not there will be a VF-0S reissue? There's DEFINITELY going to be one... and there DEFINITELY will be a YF-19 reissue. The only issue at hand is how many other items they want to sell before they start reissuing. The problem with a VF-0S reissue is that it will steal customers from the Shin VF-0A release. The problem with a YF-19 reissue is that it will steal customers from a VF-19A release. Basically, you won't be getting reissues until they're ready to let us all know that the molds are milked and sometimes that takes a LOT of patience.

LOL, let me paraphrase: Mac7 would be quite good with different characters, different character design, and an altered and condensed plot! Well, I guess it's a compliment... but not very high praise. Photo Lesson 1: Before taking pics of display cases, open the door! I only collect Macross and Mospeada so I have no idea what any of that stuff is but it looks pretty cool.

It doesn't look like it's ready to ride a pony nearly as much as the 1/60 version does. Nice work!
