That price may make the BBTS option the best for the US folks. Japanese discounts plus EMS to the US will likely end up similar or more depending on what happens with FX over the next several months.

It's possible that Sentinel made a deal with Toynami to have Toynami distribute it in the states (like Toynami did with the Megahouse ride armors... not like Toynami did with Beagle where they re-badged it). If that is what happened, then Toynami may have given BBTS the details ignorant of Sentinel's plans to make the toy available 9/29. If that's the case, it might also mean that the BBTS price will be very competitive with the overseas shops since they would have a US distributor to deal with rather than an international middle man.

I see a screw at the bottom so the array can drop down... but the array needs to rotate around at the middle of the arm to change from fighter mode (where the array comes off the elbow) to battroid mode (where the array is by the fist). It does look like the arm armor has sort of a base plate element to it so I'm optimistic but the price point came in lower than expected so that caused the concern.

Well, it works out to about MSRP shipped via EMS which is still probably a bit better than HLJ.

I have two orders I'm currently waiting on from Japan... one has an Arcadia VF-1J Miria in it. The other has an Evolution Toys Legioss. I feel like those two companies are working together right now to make sure I never get all my loot.

I like the Garland but I found Megazone just meh. It's kind of like Dougram for me. I love the mechs (so 80s) and I like the tone of Dougram but the story left me unsatisfied.

Didn't TREX do the 171? I was told it was the same guy that did Yamato's 17 and he struggled to make sure both were unique. This would lead me to think its TREX.

I had no problems with mine, it usually took some effort to pop them off.

I learned something new about Yamato 1/12 version 1 toys recently. The Parachute sack gift-set comes with exactly the same red shoulder toy that was available separately... for some reason I thought it had a different 'red' on the shoulder. I think it's because the box has a picture on the back where the red shoulder looks darker. In hindsight, it's pretty obvious that the gift-set would be the same since they sold at the same time.

When it becomes a regular webshop item it should definitely be cheaper than the 25-27K we're seeing for MISB 31J toys during the Tamashii order window.

Man I tried to do GERWALK on the display stand with the Lil Drakens... what a nightmare. That GERWALK adapter needs like a mm shaved off either side.

Now delayed until October... any more delays will make it compete directly with Arcadia's new Garland which might put it into Vaporware category.

The old Matchbox toy is 1/18 scale. A 1/60 Spartan would be teeny tiny.. like 10cm tall in "battloid".

Did you put something under the rear landing gear to create more clearance? Mine is sitting on my desk right now in this same position and the bottom wings of the Lill Draken are flush with the desk... yours look like they have a CM of clearance.
