    Looks gorgeous from a paint perspective. I wonder how the heat shield works and how low the head hangs down if positioned correctly.

    It's an odd gamble, if they make them, I will probably buy lots of toys in this line and I would never need more missiles since I wouldn't display all in fighter or even every toy at the same time (and right now, I don't have a place to display anything any way). So, it's conceivable this ploy will work in my favor if the valks are cheaper for it. It seems more likely to me that Bandai will screw me somehow and this nickel and diming will only work in their favor.

    I kinda hope not .. the HMR is already so good and so big... Would rather they do more reasonable stuff... Especially stuff not done by HMR yet.

    TWE or otherwise, I'm game. If we're buying from NY there's not much of a benefit... for this preorder it's cheaper to buy three separate orders of the missiles and have them all shipped SAL then to buy three at one time because they jack up the shipping so much! EDIT - it's late and my math is fuzzy so don't trust me entirely on that!

    LOL, that shipping quote has me worried but I just submitted my order. Ends up a lot cheaper than NY... Even if they come back and say "Our bad, shipping is $32" it would still be cheaper than NY. This is my first order with them so fingers crossed.

    Man I hate this strategy? Do I load up for future VF-1 purchases or will Bandai screw me and include these in later purchases but drop the special tilting stand?

    I wonder if that first batch was distributed to the employees of KC since there's not a peep about them More like artist proofs than a production release. Anyway, the delay means I can get the holidays done and extended family back on their way home before all my shiny new toys start arriving

    Not a toy I like but that's at least a good price. I'm guessing Arcadia will wait until Mid-Feb's Winter Wonderfest to start outlining their 2019 sales schedule.

    I got G1 Hot Rod the other day on Walmart.com for $12... I doubt Optimus will enjoy a similar markdown.

    Complaints about the packaging and batteries are the best possible scenario. The battery element adds an extra wrinkle as it seems to require special handling so I wonder if the complaint didn't come from a certification process of some kind (I have no idea, i just know that my packages from overseas are often labeled "Toy/model - NO BATTERY". As much as I want all the toys NOW I hope they do a staggered release of 1 or 2 a quarter. Dropping like three at a time might be tough on wallets and cost them some sales.

    Would you care if it required more part swapping? Just curious. I can deal with HMR level parts swapping but I really wouldn't want to see VF100 level parts swapping.
