  1. Bingo!, I totally agree with BSU. Which for me would then lead back to the whole discusion about what the whole "balance of the force" prophecy. Luke is essentially a hybrid.....not a sith by any means, but also not a "traditional" Jedi. I know people said the he calls himself a Jedi and that he was trained by 2 old school Jedi...but you have to remember that those two jedi, Obi/Yoda, had 18 years to learn from Qui-Gon and think about what went wrong. Plus I'm pretty sure he's the only Jedi to use the Darkside and then turn away from that power. He also has strong attachments that the Old Jedi order "frowned" upon. The Sith needed to be destroyed, but the Jedi needed big change also. Chris
  2. I agree, those were my least favorite things about the movie. Chris
  3. There is a Navy version, but I've never seen it. Every show shows the Airforce or Marine version. Not sure if the one pictured is the Navy version or not. Chris Edit: After looking at the picture again it does not appear to be the Naval version...the langing gear isn't beefy enough.
  4. I noticed that also! I got my EpIII Anakin and Obi from best buy too. I also have a Vader, Dooku, and a Jedi Luke all are .45 master replicas. I can't say enough about these beautiful little mini sabers...they just ROCK!!! Chris
  5. Anakin was really not much different than Qui Gon, who also disobayed the council apparently on many occasions. Qui Gon saw the problems there. He also had an "outburst" with them that was no different than Anakins. I think Mace really laid the ground work for Anakins distaste for the Jedi/ council at least. From his very first meating with them...he's tested, passes with flying colors, they acknowlege it then say "Nah we'll pass." You can even see little Anakin look pretty pissed off at Mace who gives the news. Fast forward to Ep III after all that Anakin has done not only for the Jedi but also the Republic, Obi Wan know's this as well, they give him the smack in the face, that Obi also acknowleges. Then After Anakin again does the right thing and reports Palps to the council, Mace still has the nerve to say "If what you say checks out, then I'll trust you." What a dick!!!! I think it was Maces influence/voice on the council that Anakin really hated! Chris
  6. Is it me, or was Mace a bit of a prick. Reminded me of how he was a bit of how he was an eletist prick in the first one too. Chris
  7. Freaking Sweat this was!!!!! I loved it!!! But I gotta say that the Space battle begining was a bit of a let down. Don't get me wrong, it looked great, they just didn't show much of it is all. Guess, "Jedi" can't be topped in that department. Chris
  8. I think they all have the DVD's. The Target one's online thing comes on a card inside the CD case. Chris
  9. There are only 2 different versions, Target and Walmart. The target version has download code for the internet so you can download the Fallen hero video complete with soundeffects and dialog. Walmarts version I think has an interview with John Williams. They're not doing the extra tracks thing, thankfully, because people were pissed last time. Chris
  10. Yup, just a few sour grapes in the bunch. Can't win them all over I guess. Chris
  11. Yeah, I pre-ordered mine, I'm really looking forward to it. As for the DVD release, a guy at suncoast said that the reason DVD's tend to take longer to release, here in the US as opposed to the UK and elsewhere, has to do with the MUSIC rights. That the US is more strict than elsewhere. Don't know if it is true but that's what I heard. I remember waiting for the Futurama DVD's while the UK had all 4 sets already out we where just getting season 1!! AND I've heard there aren't any differences, content wise, between the sets. Chris
  12. I've always wanted to see the Biggs on tatooine footage. Chris
  13. I don't know about Parks but the FX ones aren't to scale. I had the opportunity (spelling) to handle one the other day I thought it seemed like an expensive hasbro. Too large of a handle for me. I do love the mini ones though. I have Doku and Vader. Chris
  14. Season 2!!! The U.S. doesn't even have a release date for season 1 yet!!! We may "normally' get to see the episodes first but we tend to get the shaft in DVD release times. Hell, we just got the Mini on DVD in January!! Chris I also agree, MORE ships less figures!
  15. I can't completely remember what I did, I think it's just rapid firing and use an occasional missle. I think I boosted pretty far ahead to by a little more time. Chris
  16. I got the game as well. Only played the first 2 levels. I think this game is just an updated version of the old PS Jedi Power Battles game. That's not really a bad thing in my opinion but wasn't what I was expecting either. There are too many combo's to try and remember plus they have you switch characters from level to level I believe so that makes it even harder to keep track of combo's. They should just let you pick which character you'll play as, at least for the sake of trying to get they hang of all the combo's, espesially since they grade you on every kill! Chris
  17. It's in the MINI-SERIES. The scene is when the then secretary Roslyn is at her doctors office on Caprica, it's the sky shot looking up out of the office...I think it's like the second ship, it passes right to left and is descending. Chris
  18. You can actually see a Firefly class ship in the Battlestar Galactica Mini-series. Chris
  19. Damn Jesse!!! I'm so jealous!!!! Where the heck is MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chris
  20. Is it out already? I thought it comes out on May 3! I listened to that 7 min trailer again. That is DEFINATELY NOT empire. You guys with the Sith soundtrack...is that where that music came from? Chris
  21. All cuts from ESB. J. Williams finest Star Wars work. Based upon the clips I've heard from Episode III I don't think the soundtrack will be nearly as good. I don't recall those drum beats in Empire. Can you tell me wich ques? I have the soundtrack and don't recognize it. Chris
  22. Just got to watch the 7 min trailer posted a few pages back. WOW!! Does anyone know what music they used for the trailer? Was that the episode III sountrack? It was wonderful. Chris
  23. I also really liked this game. My only gripes about it where the Cylon Raider level...too much formation flying! If you have to play it multiple times it's a real drag! and I found the Galactica gunnery levels and the bomber level to be a bit hard! No real problems with the first level though. Graham, wait till you get to the level that starts off as a First person Viper launch!! It's sweet!!!
  24. Needa was the captain that was choaked for letting the Falcon get past the fleet. Admiral Piat was the guy in both Empire and Jedi.....and also Firefox for those who give a poo! He replaced Admiral Ossle. (In best Milhouse voice) "I AM a nerd!" Chris
