Today I just got an e-mail from NY saying my Saturn Labors are being released 10 days earlier on 7/21. Woo hoo. Can't wait for my pair of Saturns to arrive The Brocken labor is awesome btw. It doesn't have as good leg mobility as the Ingrams but it's still 10000000000000x better than the CM's piece of doodoo. I really hope after the AVX-0 they delve into other Schaft labors like the Griffin and Phantom. Also hope we get a release date on the Econo Ingrams , Ingram unit 3 and hopefully some news on the Helldiver.

The prices for these things is ridiculous. BBTS had the Max 1J super on sale for 54.99...... that's about what I paid for my HMR 1J from NY before shipping O_o At this point Harmony Gold should let Toynami die and license HMR's from Bandai lol. I wouldn't mind marginally higher prices and robocrap packaging if I could get HMR's from Stateside online shops without the red-eye F5-athons I was mildly entertained when I got my first DYRL VF-1A back in 2007 or so when toynami was the only 1/100 game in town. Ever since the HM's came out in 2010 and the HMRs in 2016 I'm puzzled at how Toynami cankeep releasing the same product with the same QC issues (horrible bursting polycaps everywhere) at even higher prices over and over

Let's you have a custom teleport point pretty much anywhere you want so you can restock on meals, etc. I actually think it's shitty they pay-walled such a useful feature

to put it n perspective...this is a 1/100 valk with dx-vf25 v2 pricing. I hope the price is cuz it's such a niche valk. Bandai better not go all Play Arts Kai on us with the pricing >_<

Master Trials are awesome. The Travel medallion is also easy as hell to get and absolutely game changing. I'll try out Hard mode after I finish my 2nd play thru on my new switch. I just finished getting all the available amiibos so the daily sky-loot will make the game really fun

A super tiny Hobbyshop called Negimo in Gunma, Jpn. Basically in the middle of ButtF--king nowhere , but only ~100 paces from my Wife's family home. At first I thought being away from Tokyo would suck for my hobby shopping, but I've found the best hobby shopping I could imagine far away from Tokyo where there's way less competition.

So.. I was paying my VF-31C mirage Preorder today (just to get it out of the way) and I noticed NY exchange rate is not great. Here's NY's exchange rate vs Paypal's. I guess the lesson learned is always check which rate is better before committing. P.S. I have a Hi-Metal R Spartan combined with this PO which is why it looks more expensive than it really is

Woo hoo. I managed to secure Switch #2 so my wife and I can play Mario Cart VS without split screen. I stopped by Best Boob in Union Sqr NYC to pick up something else and they had one left calling my name O_o. Maybe NYU college kids too poor to buy them since they pay like 60k+ a year just in Tuition alone and living in Manhattan is expensive as hell.

I wouldn't go as far as say people are shilling. I tolerate NY because they have the cheapest preorders and I've been lucky enough to get all three VF-31 1st window PO's. I don't care about service or speed when I get a VF-31 shipped for less than $175 USD For anything exclusive or aftermarket I use Madarake, Jungle or Anime-export instead. Anywho, let's get back to talking about VF-31's. VF-31's rock. I can't wait to see how they manage Chuck's folding radar dish.

Even if you have the nub that broke off super glue won't be enough; it'll just snap off again. The best solution would be to bum a part off another MW member but I can guarantee you're to have a hard time finding a matching color part. If you want to do self repair, it can be a PITA but you'll need: Thumbtack Pin-vise with ~1 MM drill bit Wire or paperclip that's thin enough to fit in ~1mm hole Some sort of hard putty or milliput Fine File or sandpaper Super glue Something that can cut paperclips Use the file/sandpaper to lightly flatten the area where the nub broke off Use the thumb-tack and carefully pin the center of the break-area so that there's a small pin-hole in the middle of the area. Using the pin-hole you made as a guide, use pin-vise to drill into the part. I went about 3 millimeters down. Make sure your paperclip is flat on the end. If not, use file to flatten it. Alo, score the paperclip by filing it on the sides. This gives better grip for the super-glue. Put glue on Paperclip, then insert in hole. let cure. Trim the pin you glued in so that it fits the indent in the leg for The original Peg. (You could theoretically stop at this point, but you'd have a pretty loose landing gear door when open.) Use Putty / Milliput to fatten up the peg so that it's close to the size of the original peg. use File / Sandpaper to smoothen the fat peg until it's flush with the gear door and that it fits into the indent for the original peg. Here's the instruction manual on assembling the leg so you can put everything back together when done.

I finally got my two sets from Anime Export via SAL. Still feel like it's aoverpriced considering I got vf-25 armored parts at retail and those only cost 800 yen more when they were released, but still 1000x better value than the YF-29 parts. I think I'm only going to buy 1 set of supers for each valk from this point on. Will have 2 of each VF-31, one supered and one naked. Rarely ever see the valks in super parts anyways in the show, let alone in other modes other than Scissors fighter

I dunno why, but part of me thinks the super release is a wasted opportunity to have included the Speaker Pod and reaction weapon arm shields... It definitely would have lowered the sticker shock

NY was the cheapest at like 5200-ish yen. I nabbed a zero. Can't wait for the econo ingrams and maybe the helldiver and phantom one day. Now that the Zero is coming out, I wonder if they'll re-release unit 1 and 2 in Movie Colors?

Yahoo auctions is pretty ghetto in terms of getting boolean searches to work well on the platform unlike Feebay. Usually you can only enter a few search terms. Companies Yamato: やまと Arcadia: アルカディア Bandai: バンダイ Hasegawa: ハセガワ General Terms Macross: マクロス Chogokin: 超合金 (DX超合金 or just DX get hits too) Renewal：リニューアル Hi-Metal (Sometimes not listed in English) : ハイメタル Usually a combo works. For example... DX超合金 リニューアル brings up mainly Macross Frontier V2's. Also, I find that Bandai valks are usually listed un-scaled so only put the scale when looking for Yamacadia or Hasegawa kits.

Eventually these things will be easy to get for everyone. I actually ordered switch #2 from Nippon-Yasan of all places. It ended up being $346 with shipping which isn't too horrible considering the switch woulda cost 335-ish after tax her anyways. Now I just get to wait for it to arrive........

Yahoo Auctions have always been a great source of super cheap stuff. I used to use fromJapan as a proxy due to their pretty nice Bid Sniper system and their decent rates, but then I got married and I just have all my crap shipped to my wife's family home in Japan so shipping is like nothing. I even set up a bank account in Japan so it's super easy to pay for auctions without getting nailed by proxy fees. After all that lemme tell you. PROXY SERVICES ARE WAY CHEAPER THAN MARRIAGE
