The Mandalorian - Star Wars webseries from Jon Favreau
Roy Focker replied to SMS007's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'd like to do away with no spoilers. Once something airs on TV or in theaters it should be fair game. Don't want read spoilers? Don't look up reviews. The fun talking about the latest shows is sharing your thoughts and theories while it is all fresh. That's my non-official opinion.- 1437 replies

1 cm is just the first number I came up with when typing. I haven't mastered the metric system. Should have said that I just started to move her hand when it broke.
-
This is not a joke but her other hand just broke off. I literally just picked her up and started to gently move her unbroken wrist. Barely moved it 1 cm when the whole wrist peg broke.

Kitz Concept Toy Thread 2.0
Roy Focker replied to Stampeed Valkyrie's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Like I said these aren't action figures but pre-assembled models with limited articulation. I got one more of things models on pre-order. Once it comes I don't think I'll get another until I hear that they've improved construction. I'm worried for those getting the Dana figure. It's going for what $70? With I assume a bunch of changeable parts or accessories for the body armor all prone to breaking.- 1804 replies

Haven't contacted them yet. Not sure what can be done. Looking at seeing what kind of repair I can do. For those that haven't broke your figure yet. Pick out your favorite hands and stick with them for now until the end of time. I no longer consider these action figures. They are pre-assembled plastic models with limit articulation.

Help! I was taking pictures of Misa/Lisa and was removing her right saluting hand and the tiny wrist peg broke off in the hand. I switched out hands on the peg about 4 times total since I got the figure. First time using that hand. It didn't feel like it was giving me any trouble. Is this even fixable?
-
I'm not a big fan of their stands. Lisa/Misa fell off her stand in the display case. She's not broken but I can't find her laptop. Now I have to option to either wait and magically find it 6 months from now or remove every item out of the case and search for it today.
-
My Lisa/Misa is suppose to be here today too by 8pm.

Ooh! I've always wanted one of those... (checks listing) Robotech packaging that's an easy pass.

Grey list? I think they're all black. They're refusing refund and instead giving store credit. Apply that credit on something else you'll be over paying since they over charge. Find something to order that's under the value of that credit they'll be keep the difference. Find something to order that's over the value of that credit and you're giving them even more money with no idea with they even send the new item out. Can't send the higher price item to you? They'll convert that extra money to more store credit. They'll come out making more money off you no matter what. Keeping your money makes them thieves. I'm amazed they didn't at least try to tell people that they're going to give extra store credit on top what they paid for the inconvenience. It is all part of customer retention. You give the customer a complimentary piece of pie for burning their steak. Sure the restaurant will be out for that piece of pie but they won't lose a customer who will tell all their friends. Right now I can't imagine anyone giving NY hundreds of dollars for any future preorders.

Calibre Wings 1/72 Prometheus Elevator Diorama Display Set
Roy Focker replied to sh9000's topic in Toys
It's cool but it just a high-tech display for 1 model. I wonder how much a non-electric hand crank version would cost? At $170 I just think that money could be used instead on just buying another Valkyrie. On the other hand I do think it would make a great gift choice for your friends and family who knows that you collect model/toy planes but don't know which plane to get you. It's a safe but impressive gift to give to a collectors that you know.- 113 replies

I've been keeping all my boxes in a closet. Is the attic a safe space? You're not going to find a colony of baby spiders in those boxes a year from now? My attic crawl space is located in the garage. I'd need a 12ft ladder to reach it. I don't get NY business model. Stuff happens not getting correct orders or on time from a supplier can happen. No other business that I've ever dealt with passes their problems on to their customers.
-
As far I know they didn't inform people when they learned they couldn't fulfill orders. You had to ask them what was going on and then they gave you store credit.

Kakizaki has arrived in town at 10am but they are holding him instead of delivering today.
-
Zombies war heroes don't need to breath air.
-
Kakizaki isn't one of my favorite characters. I do like his DYRL colors. I just managed to order one from Amazon with the Roy Focker Special book shipped for just over $300. With an eta of one week I just couldn't refuse. Now if N-Y would just give me back my money.

The first stunt in that trailer with him swing off the bridge and slamming his back into one of the supports would have been enough to kill him right there.- 96 replies

We can't obtain enough stock so we are unable to fulfil your order. We won't refund you but we'll give you store credit. How screwed up is that? I'm pretty sure that's crime in most countries. You ordered a specific item. You didn't order a gift card.

I noticed all the DC trailers say only in theaters and I'm like even if we've got a vaccine by then I'm not risking it.
