Macross Δ (Delta) - Mission 13 - READ 1st POST

Valen might be thinking bigger things than a few million civilians. Since every other Protoculture device depicted in any Macross series (or game) has been bad for large amounts of space (as someone here on the forums already spculated), he's probably going the route of the needs of the many over the needs of the few...... either that, or he's MD's version of Grace (which still imnplies that he had bigger fish to fry? -
I thought (or at least have read elsewhere) that it was Star Trek: Renegades that the guidelines were intended to neuter, not necessarily Axanar ...

What do all of you think about the Ban-hammer TPBT have laid upon fandom with their new guidelines designed to prevent fan works like Renegades or Axanar?

It wont be anyone from SDF:M. Remember, always remember the taint that lingers from HG upon the TV series IP. My money is on Mylene for.. no reason. -
Somewhere in my bag of things at my dad's, I have a copy of a GN of Last Order with Cameron's signature in sharpie (I got it when he was touring overseas & visiting military bases and ships to promote Avatar in 2006-7{?} and he visited The Ike. huge lines just to say hello but he had a very large smile when I presented the copy for him to sign on. He was very keen on making it then but he admitted he wasn't sure when he could, because Avatar clearly was going to be a huge time sink for him...)

why does this sound like how some folks in Japan might still view WWII? are there parallels in Macross D's story to mirror real life events? -
I asked about that on FB. Perhaps the VT-11 wasn't originally a VT-11 but a modification for something and when that particular mission was done, the plane was modified for training duty (but some aspects of the previous mission, like those glass ports) remained but it's worth the time to fabricate blank covers? When I was stationed at Point Mugu in the mid 2000's I recall seeing the DC-130 that used by for Antarctic missions that ended in the early 90's and the plane was used by the civilians for weapons drones work... and the landing gear still had the skies on the nose. serves no purpose but nobody bothered to remove them (or more likely, they couldn't for some logistical reason)

It's a nice way to divest one's self of the responsibility of handling/CONTROLLING so many human colonies/interests. I commented on this using Battletech's Terran Hegmony (and the Star League) as a comparison. I wonder if the idea of Earth giving up the said handling/CONTROL of her infancy colonies was to avoid war with said colonies (because at one of them becomes Space America, after all)?- 299 replies

yeah I just found it through different means (wives are very useful )... still nothing of note. Is the BB-01 gonna pull a NuBSG and go into battle with big holes in her plating?

it's retarded to even bring the show on DVD. Netflix or Hulu would be the most logical choice to bring anime back to the US.

that design is pure ass. It's TOO FAN BOI for it to be cannon (though i agree it should have a least a single underslung turret as well as AA weapons underslung)

Was it me or was Luke, being where he was, having a Morgan Finn Kell moment? I did like it when I saw it on Saturday with my older kids but one thing bothered me: The Music. there was nothing that stood out for me. I don't think John Williams is gonna get an Oscar next year... Also, Now that I'm considering it, I'm gonna guess. Snoke is related or the same race as Yoda? With major size issues going on?

I am surprised he even cares about STID? he's gonna be literally feasting on... something immoral (maybe dead babies covered in caviar?), with all the cash he's gonna roll in. his ST films will be nothing more than fan films when the historians review his life, in the view of SW...- 466 replies
