Mr March, I was cruising through your awesome site today and noticed a few things. 1. The DYRL VF-1S has red triangle instead of yellow. 2. Are there anymore pics of the hangar bays? Maybe a pic that shows the exact location of the areas? I remember seeing about 3 of 4 different lineart pics somewhere. 3. Are there any pics of the launch arm? Keep up the fantastic work. NB4M

If you look closely at the figure, you'll note that the joints that allow it to transform between modes, are actually not there. This is more of a puzzle Legioss that required removal and replacement of parts. I'm guessing this is the 1/55 version that transformed only between soldier and diver. ***Look for the swiveling shoulder joints. Nice pics BTW, thanks for sharing.

Actually there is a larger scale valkyrie produced by Reds in a 1/20 scale. And yes, I did say 1/20. That is unless you consider the group of engineers from mexico who where building six, IIRC *1/12 scale CF Super Valkyries, as a class project. Come to think of it I wonder what ever happed to that project???? *The valkyrie is in 1/10 scale and not 1/12.

Even if it were to be recasted the price might come close to the original due to the material needed to make the molds. This is one huge beast of a valkyrie.

I think you might change your mind if you were to see and handle it in person. The sheer mass of this valkyrie is awesome. Even with the low level of detail it completely overshadows anything out there.

So, now that we have seen a (not so fine) example of the LEGIOSS from Aoshima, does this mean we'll barely see the other three variants? Then nothing for the TRED? Just a bit of constructive cristism, using black overwhelms the figure and diminishes and warps the scale. Next time, try using grey or an ocre color, leaned more towards a terra color. If you wanted to try and tone down the panel lines use 00 steel wool and scrub your valk to remove and recess the balck a bit more. It would give it a better wash-like effect.

Reds / Arii There is more info here about this and about the 1/35 scale as well. If you paid less than 300.00, I'd say you ot yourself a great deal.

Really nice build. I like the aluminum tubing used for the wing mounted weapons. The kite symbol is a little off.

Actually the VF-0D desing is pretty straight forward. No real suprises making this from the VF-0/A,S platform. It really is a few parts added/switched here or there and moving the cockpit space forward. It just depends on Yamato's willingness to produce it and make it profitable for themselves.
