  1. What't up Nick? How've you been? He does. There's a pic of it in the latest MWCon thread.
  2. Made in Taiwan, and never produced by Bandai. This Strike Valkyrie is produced this way. There is a second version that is coupled with blue Super/FAST Packs and comes packaged almost like the original. This particular version was also made in Taiwan, Spain, Argentina, and Italy. You just have to do some serious searching and you'll find them all.
  3. Looks like Tinkerbell.
  4. I'd say your assumption is debateable. At this point, it is very hard to say whether the 1/48 price line will become higher or lower. But onw thing is for sure the 1/48 line will become scarce and more difficult to collect. That is, if you haven't already.
  5. Use chrome foil. It reflects light very well. All you have to do is: 1. Cut to desired shape (always leave a little extra). 2. Remove it from the carrier and apply. 3. Use a toothpick to place it into crevices and corners. 4. Cut off the excess with a new sharp blade. 5. Your done. I used this stuff frequently when I would build car models. Works great on bumbers and chrome trim.
  6. I got a few for $40.00 last year, but only kept one. I think retail was actually 90.00, but you have to remember that the Q-rau is rather large. $80.00 would still be an attractive price (this would also be for the Destroids and Enemy Mecha).
  7. I would like to see these release in this order A. VF-1S Roy...This would be the first version to check for problems. Then on to the second versions with all the corrections made: (DYRL) 1. Hikaru VF-1A Super Armour 2. Max VF-1A Super Armour 3. Kakizaki VF-1A Super Armour 4. CF VF-1A Super Armour (DYRL) 5. Hikaru VF-1S w/ Super/Strike Armour 6. Max VF-1S w/ Super/Strike Armour 7. Roy VF-1S w/ Super/Strike Armour (TV) 8. Max VF-1A (with TV Type Head Sculpt) 9. Kakyzaki VF-1A (with TV Type Head Sculpt) 10 Alaska Base VF-1A (with TV Type Head Sculpt) 11. CF VF-1A (with TV Type Head Sculpt) 12. GBP-1S Armour (TV) 13. Milia VF-1J w/ Super Armour 14. Max VF-1J w/ Super Armour 15. Hikaru VF-1J w/ Super Armour 16. Roy VF-1S w/ Super Armour 17. Super Armour (DYRL) 18. VF-1D Trainner (with Hikaru and Minmei figures) 19. VE-1 Elint Seeker 20. VT-1 Ostrich (with Hikaru and Misa figures) (TV) 21. Hikaru VF-1S Super Valkyrie 22. VF-1D Virgin Road Marriage Valkyrie (with New Sculpt Max and Miria figures) 23. VT-1 Super Ostrich (with Hikaru and Minmei figures) 24. Any re-paint or re-issue.
  8. You've got everything mixed up. You should go to the MW splash page and look under the toys section, before posting. It will give you information about vintage toys. Then you'll be able to post a coherent question. The topic, the body, and the pic...none are related. Just trying to help.
  9. What the hell-kind-of-link-up is this?!? The legs are spread open? The fighter connects low on the connection bar? WTF...for $250+ I will most definitely pass. After all this time, since the prototype, and this is the best they can do? How terribly dissapointing.
  10. The RIO does sit higher and the pilot sits a bit lower. It seems apparent when comparing the canopy frames from the VF-1 to the VT or VE-1 one. While on other hand, the VF-1D the pilots are at the same height as the VF-1.
  11. Close, but not quite. The chest needs to be a bit taller in fighter mode, or I could be wrong. Is the opening airbrake gone?
  12. Nora needs a boa, and Shin could use a top hat. Interesting diorama.
  13. We all start off that way. I was the same way with the 1/48, 1 VF-1A CF, 1 VF-1J Super Hikaru, and 1 VF-1S Roy. 30+ 1/48 Valks later...well, you know the story.
  14. My heart just skipped a beat.
  15. I hate to tell you this....but....these are the final product. Nonetheless, I really like these. I'm so glad I bought both.
  16. It might be only after the 1/60 MKII is released. I would guess that it would be available as limited, due to it's immense size. At a price point of 300-350. If this does well, then maybe onto the 1/60 Konig (since the 1/100 can be scaled up perfectly) and then onto the 1/60 MKI from M0.
  17. Other than the occassional reissues, no the 1/48 is dead. Yet, I will not let go of my collection of 1/48s. I think Yamato should have been continued in this scale, just improved on it. There is an overabundance of room to where this scale can be perfected and made far superior to the "NEW" 1/60. In any case, I too will fall victim to Yamato's tactics and purchase the entire "NEW" 1/60 line. I just hope that after Yamato is done with the "NEW" 1/60, they don't decide to produce a "NEW" 1/48.
  18. Will this also have a double jointed knee?
  19. Does anyone know if this CF will be packaged with display stand? I've contacted several e-bay sellers and a few say the stand is not included in the box.
  20. Not mine, but these are super minty-mint. So fresh and so clean.
  21. ...ooooh yesssssss, looooootsss of customs.
  22. Purchase a large broad paint brush. The type that has horse britlses with a semi-firmness. It is very useful to clean and dust your valkyrie, plus it works it's way into the nooks and crannies and get's all the dust out. I've been doing this for a few years and the results are very satisfying. My work/display are accumulates a lot of dust, so I clean everything at least four times a year.
