  1. Nah. I will have had more than my fill after the VE-1. Time to finish off my customs list.
  2. Once that happens and I buy the VE-1, my collecting 1/48 / DX figures is over.
  3. Did anyone ever notice this notch. Looks like Bandai improved the arm to leg connection to reduce sagging.
  4. They are reliable. I have been ordering from them since they started. Never had an issue.
  5. Anime export has their PO open. I just ordered mine. Go go go!!
  6. Pistons are a go! I have a few details to create inside this cavity. And yes. They actually work.
  7. WOW. The detail is very prevalent for 1:144. The primer lost no details, or at least from what I can see here. Can’t wait to see the full asteroid diorama.
  8. Very cool.
  9. Thanks for the recommendation. It is a strong binder and can be used to recreate parts, but I usually reserve it for items that require more tensile strength. Plastic Weld and styrene ahas been doing the trick for years. Dries quick and strong, of course not like epoxy, but enough to get the job done and last for years. I have several projects that still hold up very well. Love your work.
  10. Yay!!! Swing plates. Matched up the connections from the hips to the FLIRs. I know this build is 40 years late, but there is just so much enjoyment to be had when customizing the 1/55.
  11. Thanks for the compliments. I have been using Plastic Weld and the acetone eats and melts parts, sometimes causing divers and voids. Also, this mold is not exactly perfect. When I mate sheets to it I can feel the surfaces are uneven. So I use a little putty help smooth it out. Swing plates coming shortly.
  12. That is really coming out great. All the additional details you’ve put place helps to bring RoboCop to life. Fantastic!
  13. Wish I could be there. Lots of great stuff from last time.
  14. Wow. All you people out making amazing customs. And some of those paint techniques are interesting that I might have to try them. Fantastic work all. Myself, still having fun with my old school 1/55 shenanigans.
  15. Yeah, but Conan never had to deal with a forum filled with grown men on MacrossWorld giving their opinions and griefs over toys. Conan had a sword. I have a Takatoku with pointy nose cone and a projectile filing GU-11 that would take out any barbarians’ eye out. 🙈
  16. Same here. I don’t think I have very many what’s called MIB untouched toys. I enjoy buying complete and original, but believe me my kids and I have played with everything we own. It’s all about the enjoyment, education, and sharing.
  17. I am all in agreement with your statement. But as of recent, there have been quite few resellers just whitening and reselling them without notifying buyers of how they have altered them and have attempted to sell them as mint. Would be nice if people were more honest about these practices. Personally, it’s not my place to say what people do with their own toys. After all it is yours enjoy it as you wish.
  18. Looks like quite a few have undergone the RetroBright treatment. These would be good for customizing. So many people are bleaching toys nowadays either for personal collections or reselling that it really makes me wary of buying bright white or pristine toys. Not only that, these are usually taken apart and reassembled haphazardly.😪
  19. After 40 years the Gen 1 VF-1 still looks great. No wonder it’s one of those toys every collector should have at least one in their collection.
  20. Looking good and definitely a suitable place holder. Looks great without the panel lining. Maybe a top coat should be added to protect the decals and stickers.
  21. Those came out great! Way to go on helping a member out. Happy 2024!
  22. I remember those. Poor translations always came back with Persimmon Squadron. So now I know. Thanks.
