I played City of Heroes/Villains for 2 years and just got kinda bored with it. Now that CoH 2.0 (or better known as Champions-Online) is getting ready to come out, I was wondering how many people on this board are gonna pick up the title? All the new previews sound pretty good.

Okay. Just wondering. I know I have the OVA's subbed (and now a complete set of dubbed episodes of the normal show). I may look into the subbed version of the normal show if the show was very different from the dubbed version.

Well, if you have a modded psp, you can always play the game on the PSP and cut out the nutty ebay prices (since the company isn't actually benefiting from Ebay anyway). All you need is the ISO and the proper custom firmware applications on your psp.

Oh hell yeah!!! I got a bunch of the figs from this show back in the day, but now I'll definitely have to pay attention to these guys. Any clue about an estimated cost? (like $10-20, $20-30, $30-40, etc.) Edit: Forgot to ask, has this series ever been officially subtitled or even fansubbed? Edit#2: Are the Japanese and English Dub significantly different?

Actually. I played with it again this morning and took it from Battroid back to Fighter. I realized that what was happening was that the head was somehow not aligned properly (or at least the little neck piece) and that was causing the crotch to not fit properly. I feel kinda stupid now, but at least I got it finally!

I'm having some trouble getting my VF-25G with armor parts to fit together right in Fighter mode. The legs just don't seem to wanna fit right with the little part that is hinged on the side. And pushing the legs up seems to make the crotch area (and the piece it's connected to under the cockpit) pull away from the nose of the plane. Anyone have any trouble-shooting tips or a link to a vid/pic tutorial?

Yeah, the Powersuits look like they'll ruin the movie. GI Joe was Sci-Fi to a small extent (lasers and vehicles), but it kept a realistic feel to it at the same time. The powersuits just totally destroy that in my opinion. This isn't Exosquad after all.

Wow, I was really behind. Just finished up the show. Good ending. Much better than the "lets kill everybody" ending that the anime makers seem to be so fond of. The movie looks interesting to say the least. I'm guessing first contact situation or even a second Veda.

Very good question! If they are not gonna include something extra with Ozma (like the sniper rifle), then I'll change my pre-order to an Alto. I've been tossing that decision up in the air anyways...

It does suck that parts like that are needed. But then again, I am just glad they are addressing the issue somehow. The wing weakness is more of an inherent design flaw anyway.

Well, I've watched 3 episodes and so far I'm really digging it! I love the intro music. I'd love to get an MP3 of that!

Any pics of a colored Armored Ozma to compare to the Armored Alto? I think I'll still like the Ozma color scheme better, but maybe not...

Okay. I finally went out looking for "Acrylic Thinner" and came back empty handed. The only things I saw were "Acrylic Blender" and "Acrylic Floating Solution". I did see a bottle of "Acrylic Cleaner" and a bottle of "Acrylic Thinning Agent" intended for use with some "paste" acrylics, but they were $9 a bottle. What's a good online store to get that Tamiya Acrylic Thinner and maybe even the Purple Tamiya paint for the canopy?

Thanks! But holy cow! That's way more expensive than the other figs in the SPEC line. I figured it'd be priced around what the SPEC Layzner with add-on parts was priced. I made an interesting discovery when I searched HLJ for Soul of Chogokin Spec this morning... http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN959034 They have it listed as 16000Yen. It's just like the damn Beta fighter. Wait forever for one to come out and it's really expensive, except this is really small too... I'm hoping that these companies are just putting up early pricing info and that the price gets dropped later b/c I don't want to pay that much for something as small as what I've heard Tekkaman will be.

Great that the show comes on a network I don't pay for. Why can't they just air it on their normal Nick channel? Surely it would get better ratings and thus more funding.

Yeah. I saw the commercial and went "wow, that's lame". I thought the movie might be cool, but then seeing those suits made me realize that the movie is likely gonna suck.

As long as Snake Eyes comes out, it doesn't matter to me if Walmart wants to make it a store exclusive.

I'm REALLY hoping Snake Eyes gets released. Hell, out of all the GI Joe stuff out there, I'd buy him and I haven't bought a Joe fig in 10 years (w/ the exception of Matt Trakker b/c he's a MASK fig). The Ebay fig sold for $304. All the figs look finished (like they came from molds), so I'd wager they'll get released even if they get pushed back b/c of the movie or something. I've seen it happen in the Transformers universe with some of their figs.

I agree on the shipping...It's ridiculous on all accounts. Hell, space is a huge problem to collectors in Japan from what I've seen, so it makes no sense why they would make the boxes bigger. That's what happens when stupid people get into places they shouldn't be... Though Gurren and Lagann look amazing. Very good job with them and neat little extras like "Lagann Impact" mode parts. I may have to get it, just depends on the yen/dollar ratio at the time of release I guess.

I believe that was a one off custom. The wings aren't made to accept sound booster add-ons, so it would be a little difficult to mount them.

I thought Resolute was awesome. I liked GI Joe back in the day, but never really followed it after. Also, Snake Eyes is uber bad-ass in Resolute. That scene where he takes over the island is sweet. I will have to buy the Snake Eyes figure after he comes out. Maybe a Scarlett too because she was pretty cool in the show, but only if they do a good job with the head sculpt.

Okay. So I'm starting my Michael now. The Yellow marker I used worked great on the Luca, but the shade of purple I have looks horrible on a test piece of clear plastic trimmed off the parts tree. So...What was the best overall paint/marker/anything method of coloring the cockpit a nice purple tent like in the photos? And are the paints/markers/etc usually available at a store like Michael's (it's the only store remotely close to me since the other hobby places shut down in my area)?
