  1. It's probably unlikely Take-Two will mess with TDK too much, they're not EA or anything. Hopefully this won't affect the release of the next Robotech game any. Zorprimal, where'd you hear that TDK had the Crystal Dreams code?
  2. That's Mylene's MAXL, right? $20-35 seems pretty fair for a decent sized resin recast, but I'll have to wait and see how much money I have when the project nears completion. Definately interested though.
  3. Well, I'm pretty sure the whole song is about phone sex. Look at the title (Idol Talk) and look at what Sharon does while singing it in the concert in the second episode...
  4. I just picked up a regular Lancer from my GameStop, I don't care much for the metallic version. Very cool toy, not "super"poseable, but you can still pull off a fair amount of positions given the bulkyness of the Legioss design. I'll prolly go pick up s Stealth and Scott Alpha later, ool toys.
  5. I dunno. For me, smaller stuff is harder. All those tiny details and things are not easy. You got a point there McBride, but my thinking that was with all the original stuff he'd have to make for it, it'd be easier to handle the putty and styrene or whatever since it was in smaller amounts. Hrmm... Not sure if that made sense. Maybe my opinion is skewed after doing so many Warhammer minis, I prefer painting a small miniature to a big model anyday.
  6. Macross wise.... it's probably a very beat up 1/100th Takatoku VF-1A that's responsilbe for me being a Macross fan. General anime... The B-Club Bubblegum Crisis book, which is the holy grail of BGC. Got it for the low price of $50 a few years ago. And in general my most prized possession is my RX-7. Worked my ass off in high school for it, and wouldn't be able to get around without it.
  7. I like FSS, only read the first three english volumes though. Been too poor to catch up on the rest, but someday... The OVA rocked, but I gave up trying to show it to friends because they were just too confused without reading the manga.
  8. Looks great GunnerX, that pilot turned out really well. Can't wait to see the Valk in it's finished form.
  9. You actually bought one Monkey-N? Mind if i ask how much it cost? And a broken head wouldn't be too hard to fix.. would it?
  10. Well seeing as how the Banpresto's are relatively small, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to scratch build all those parts. Well, it'd be EASIER than doing it for the larger scale toys anyways.
  11. Nanashi has some pictures of it on his website, here. It'll take a lot of customization to change a VF-1 into a Stampede, but on a Banpresto it'll be way easier than a 1/55 or 1/60, so good luck!
  12. Okaaaaaay... A few years ago there was an awesome Sharon Apple costume at Anime Expo. It was of the "black box" outfit and looked really good. You can find the website here. Only shows cartoons though... I can't find actual pictures of it.
  13. Toonz, where's that Minmay Guard design from? Looks different from the design on the upcoming Hase Minmay Guard Battroid.
  14. Front Mission (SFC) The first one Front Mission: GunHazard (SFC) the side-scroller Front Mission 2 (PS1) Good game, loooooooong loading times though Front Mission Alternative (PS1) The real-time strategy one (sort of) Front Mission 3 (PS1) the only one that got translated :-/ Interestingly enough, there is a translation patch for the first Front Mission rom. For those that might like to know the story.
  15. Sounds great Valkyrie, any idea about estimated cost? It's a great looking model Sam, airbrushed I assume? I love those little 1/144th kits, a few years ago I had the VF-17 and Fire Valkyrie, I think I pretty much destroyed them though. <_<
  16. Seems like it'd be hard to walk around in, like wearing shoeboxes on your feet or something...
  17. Just wondering if there's any Front Mission fans around, Front Mission 4 was recently announced. You can find some info here. I'm a pretty big fan, played all of them except for FM Alternative and the WonderSwan version of the original.
  18. Kawamori has definately been leaning towards environmental themes in his latest works, I'm pretty sure Macross Zero will have more than it already does (nature vs. technology), so I would say there's a high chance of the new show featuring these themes. Then again, he does have a knack for doing what you don't expect him to, so you never know.
  19. I believe xstoys had one of those at the MW Con last week, maybe he can tell us where he got it?
  20. But that was because Kawamori had taken a break from doing "sequels" and didn't want to work on Macross anymore. It's really more about when Kawamori wants to do it (or can be convinced to by sponsors) rather than production time.
  21. Really? I hadn't heard about that... should be cool. I'm guessing it'll be OYW, seeing as how that's synonimous with "hardcore Gundam" right now.
  22. Helmets without a chin guard scream Vespa scooter to me, I dunno why. <_<
  23. Obscure? What do you mean? There's been some *weird* Gundam stuff, but I dunno if it's proper for the PG-nature of this message board for me to elaborate.
  24. Do you own the motorbike helmet? If I did, could I still come to your pad for the Bay Area MW meet? Seriously though, I don't have it. If I did drive a motorcycle, I think I'd be happy enough with a "regular" helmet.
