    Understood. But weren't the specs of the YF-24 redacted for all of those.? Including the 303.? I forget, but wasn't the VF-27 more based on "leaked" specs.?

    Transformation? I'm assuming that any basis off the YF-24 would be redacted information..

    Painting landing gear for the VF-4. As well as the conformal missiles (finally). Also doing more paint on the super Lancer.. And also, more stuff happened.. Took a while to cut everything (just about) off the sprues. Test fitting , then onto putty and sanding.. See y'all Space Cowboys next Deculture

    It's interesting to note that Max showed up in a YF-29, rather than a VF-24. Supposedly, he's flying the most rare, most performance enhanced VF(YF) currently in existence. I find it hard to believe the average VF-24 can out perform the YF-29. Of course we don't know anything about the VF-24, other than "it's a thing". Another interesting point about Max showing up in a YF-29, is that it is a known VF and we instantly recognize it. Also Bandai's gets to sell us more of those. Which may have had something to do with why Max shows up in a YF-29, rather than the unknown VF-24.

    Cool. I will eventually be multi kit bashing 1/144 hg's with my son. He has a bunch he's built and i think reimagining them , kit bashed together, would be fun. It's ridiculous, the cost of ready built stuff ! As a builder, I always just figure the cost of materials alone. A work bench, as you've shown , should only cost a few hundred in materials. At most.

    I didn't realize Ozoma and Isamu's YF-29's were anything more than in game options for the sake of cool. Are they actually part of the M30 story or VFMF "canon".?

    That's not too impressive for such an expensive prototype. So Frontier has the ultimate YF-29. I wonder who pilots it now? Isamu..? He is an SMS pilot. Or do they keep it shiny in the box for Kabuki boy.. It's also interesting to note that the VF-27 didn't do too shabby against the YF-29. With some cyber assistance..

    How can anything have more powerful engines than the YF-29..? If so, that 303 must have quite a sturdy airframe. I wonder how much is really known about the YF-29 by other corporations and immigrant fleets, in universe. Or even of its existence.
