Did you get to talk to her? Did she mention why she canceled her trip to the Bay area next week? If you e-mail her, ask if she would be interested in coming to Fanime-Con again in the Bay Area in May. Well i guess that's for the Fanime-Con people to decide huh? Since she canceled, i am still hoping she can make it to the Bay Area some time in the future.

Man that is really screwed up! All weekend i went searching around to find some stuff she could sign too. I was REALLY looking forward to seeing her again. Oh well, i guess i will have to wait till next year.

So when i try to go ahead and use DVD-lab pro, it gives me this warning.

Hey Hurin, this is what i get in my demuxed DVD folder. It does not look the same as yours, and i doesn't let me use it in DVD-labpro. Grrrr....

Well yeah i guess it's the same if you use express mail shipping. I always use SAL when buying from HLJ. I bought this model for $26, shipping was $6, so it came out to only $33. That dude on e-bay paid about $50 for his!

I seen this set before, the subs kind of suck. There is a HK boot of the Animego set out for like $35. Set has 5 DVD's and is EXACT as the animeigo set.

So then when i use DVD-lab pro, it then looks like this. My video file is ony 19 minutes long! What am i doing wrong? I followed the directions step by stem, but after i use the DVD Decrypter gives me MANY video files, and the DVD-lab pro only allows me to add one video file that is 19 minutes long. The audio file seems to be exact as your picture though. Hmmmm. Can anyone offer some help here!?!

I just bought this Transformers book from Japan. It came in yesterday. I found something very interesting in the book. There is a page where i saw Shoji Kawamori's picture on it. My question, why is he in this Transformers book?!?! Did he create some Transformers along with Macross Valkyires!?!? (I know the Jetfire toy was taken from Macross) Can someone read/translate this page and tell me what it says about Kawamori. Did he make other Transformers besides Jetfire? It shows Omega Supreme & Shockwave on the side of the page. Did he design those toys also!?! I used to watch anime & Japanese fighting shows (Kamen Rider, Kikaida, Gorangers, Ultraman, etc..) all the time when i was a kid and those shows were NEVER dubbed in English back in the 70's. I wouldn't mind, and i wouldn't miss an episode either, that's how much I love Japanese programming when i was young. My advice, stick with the original show. I'll be a father in April, and that's what i plan to do. As for a first exposure, go with the anime. After watching a few episodes show him one of your toys. It will get him more "into" the series, and will want to watch more to see the dogfights, etc.. Of course, he will want to have his "own" Macross toys too though.......

Anyone going? I have gone for (4) years in a row now. Have bought some Macross Valkyries from dealers at this con. It says that she will have a concert & autograph session. Tickets are still available WHOOOOOOOO!! I think i'll bring my video recorder, film her concert, then transfer it to DVd so it will last FOREVER. This is gonna be great!

Her website states she hopes to get a local gig in the San Francisco area. I hope so, so i can get to see her more then once during her trip to the Bay area. Are enough people going that we can have a Macross gathering?

Wow this is so cool! I will be there for sure! I saw Mari at Fanime Con in 2000 & 2001 % saw concerts she performed in at those events. I remember even recording one of them! At Fanime she performed several Macross songs, and she ALWAYS sang "DYRL?". That is a must! The only thing was that at Fanime 2001 she was bringing over a big box full od CD's and stuff for her to sell and the airlines LOST IT! She was so upset at that con and she mentioned how she thought that would be her last con ever. Luckily it wasn't!

I gotta agree with >EXO<, i never cared much for the Yamato 1/60 line at all. I thought it was great that they released so many different types of Vf-1's, but in the end i chose the Bandai 1/55's over them. Then i got a 1/48, and am like "Bandai who?" I still love all of my Bandai's, but the 1/48 line is something else. Props to Yamato for those. Speaking of Yamato, i also don't mind the 1/72 Macross Plus figures. Boy, if they released those in a 1/48 scale i would be all over it!

Why not Godzilla? You own everyting else in the Macross Universe, what's a DVD set to complete that massive collection of yours!?! Don't you feel incomplete without it?
