I purchased it at Kinikuniya about a month ago. No the last time i checked they were all out, they have the new issue now (#78). If you are local, you can go to the store, give them the ISBN number and order it from them. The book really cost like $9 by the yen, but they mark it up to $15. If you are not local, you can e-mail them and order it. They will charge you $15 + $5 shipping to your door. You will need the ISBN # though, and probably the issue name and number (#77) -SAM

I got this book from Kinokuniya in San Jose finally. Awesome, i can't say enough about this one! The pictures are all so great, i love the new Yamato 1/48 stuff as well as the classic 80's toys. The book goes though the complete history of Macross toys from year to year that they were released. Even has the different Hasegawa models! If only i could read Japanese! Hey i have a question.... On the last page of the Macross section titled "present", what are the letters next to items? I mean there is a 1/48 VF-1A with armor, and VF-1J super with an "A" next to it. There are some models under "D", and K&M figures under "E". What are these? My guess is these are the prizes for the contest? Being the 1/48's are first place, (or "A" place), then "B" is like second place, and so on. What do you guys think? Anyone know?

Holy Cow $17 for a VF-1S Super!?!?? That is amazing!!! For it to get that cheap they must have been REALLY overstocked. Of course that would NEVER happen here. We are always understocked which results in the prices rising so only the ones willing to dish out the high cash can get one. So all the 1/60's were that price? Anyways, yeah i agree that the 1/55's are awesome. The 1/48's to me are the best, but so far i just keep mine in their boxes because i'm afraid i might break em. My shelf is full of 1/55 Valks. Even when my nephew comes over, i let em transform the suckers. They are so strong and sturdy that none of them ever broke yet! The 1/55's are pure fun! The 1/48's are not as fun as the 1/55's, but sure as hell better to look at!

Yeah GREAT LINK! I wonder why there is no VF-1J 1/48 Hikaru, Max and Millia though? And no VF-1S Hikaru either. Maybe the 1/48's got to expensive for him to keep up?

I was just about to sell my PS2. I haven't even touched it in months. I heard about the NEW Football games coming out, ESPN & Madden. Same old crap as every year, these two games compete for the best football game out there. There are ESPN fans, and there are also die hard Madden fans. I wasn't planning on getting any new football game this year, as i am completely satisfied with my ESPN 2K4. That and plus i dont' really play games that much at all anyways. Every year when the games come out that retail for $50. In a few months, you may be able to get them used for $40-$45. That is what i usually do, wait a while and get them for a little cheaper. The new ESPN 2K5 comes out this week and i thought nah, i won't pay $50. But i will pay.......... :o :o :o :o :o :o :o This is no joke!!!! Holy CRAP!!!!! The new ESPN 2K5 retails nation wide for only $19.99, and my local Fry's has them on sale for $17.99!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes, so i looked it up and it's true. This is a marketing plan by ESPN. They are releasing their NEW "Best football game ever" for $17.99 and releasing it 2 weeks BEFORE Madden. In hoping that they can grab Madden die hards to just give their game a try so they can "hook" them on thier new product. Can someone scan or take a picture of the cover to this magazine? What is the title, issue number / month etc... I know someone who might be able to get some of these issues but i need to tell him specificly what issue it is and what it look like. If he can get it, i should be able to get a few more for your guys as well. So any help would help, thanks!

The 20th Anniversary disc is just awesome! Clips from all shows Macross with even toy commercials. The begining intro CGI is amazing too!! Depends what you are into though. As much as i love the 20th Anniversary disc, it is ONLY extras. And short too, about 50 minutes for the whole DVD. Well worth the money though! WHOOOOOOOOO!!!

I prefer to have the reissues, in my opinion they are superior to the original. All the flaws were fixed, etc.. Wait a minute, Hikaru's 1S? They never reissued the Hikaru 1S did they? Don't you mean the Roy, or do you know something i don't. Anyway as i was saying, i would rahter have 2 reissue 1S Roy's, then 2 of the first edition ones.

You guys wouldn't happen to know where i could find the Piano sheet music for DYRL would you? My girl knows how much i like the song, so she said if i find the sheet music, she will learn the song. She also "claims" she can sing it better then Minmay. I told her "yeah right"... I want to see her try though. I've tried searching online, but so far i can only find the Macross Plus sheet music, but not DYRL.

I seen these usually selling for $7 before shipping. Well worth the price, the picture quality is amazing! Plus there are trailers! Still i wish they did add a little more extras. But for $7, no complaints here. Hell i might buy another one just a s a backup copy!

From what i heard the FX version is remastered picture and sound. Also there are DYRL trailers included as well. The Anime Cartoon / Manga Inter. version there are no extras. Also the FX version is now out of print in Hong Kong. So what ever is left in stores are what is left, they are not making anymore for the time being. Better grab one while you can.

I gotta admit it, i love this song. How many different versions of this song exist? Are there many alternate versions, or remixes, etc... This is what i have on CD......... 1. Original version (from the "Macross: Complete" 3 CD set) 2. Instrumental version (from the "Macross: Complete" 3 CD set) 3. Macross 7 girl version (from the CD "Mylene Jenius sings Lynn Minmay" I also recorded her singing it live (Mari Ijima) at the Fanime Anime convention a few years ago. I have since recorded that to DVD-R. Are there any other versions of it out there? I'm such a fan of the song, i just want hear them all if they exist. Thanks!

Yeah i see the Alternaters #1 & #2 in stock all the time. I check Wal-Marts, Targets, Toys R US, etc.. all the time and i have only see the MP Prime ONCE on the past 6 months. Are these out of print now, or are they just selling out as soon as they come in?

They already reproduced Roy once, so i guess they could do it and others again also. I doubt it though, i think they will come out with other newer versions first.

Yup i picked up one from Max myself. $110 for a now "out of print" VF-1S Hikaru was too good to pass up! Maybe i should have bought one more, oh well...........
