This is a big markdown from the original $50 price tag, and a must have if you don't have him already. I totally agree with you "wwwmwww", i really don't understand why they won't release that teaser trailer on the DVD extra's. It really makes no sense. Maybe people were sensitive about it back in 2001, but i don't think it would offend anyone now. From what i remember, it was an awesome trailer too!

Yeah i have been in contact with Neova for over a month now asking about the VF-1S Roy, and he is still out of them. These are getting harder to find all around. Of course e-bay has a few also. I saw a few selling for $135 a little over a month ago. Now the same seller has them for like $175 as he is low in stock. Good luck to anyone that can find these at a decent price.

What department store sells 1/48's? What's the name of the place, i would like to know if there is one near where i live. It's also amazing to still find a store that sells the 1/48 Roy. How much were they asking for it?

Great pictures guys! Some of you seem to like em, and others like em not so much. I haven't got mine yet, but from the pictures i think the clear packs look super cool! I don't know if i would want them on every one of my Valks, but at least one will be displayed for sure! The "centerpiece" VF-1S would look mighty sick! WHOOOOOOO!!!

Just got back from Spider-Man 2 and it was great! Doc Ock was perfect. I don't care for Dunst as MJ though. Don't get me wrong i think she plays MJ perfectly, but i just don't think she looks much like MJ from the comics. Her face is too round, while MJ in the comics has a very thin model face like a model. Just my opinion though. Then again if she just appeared in my bed right now, i wouldn't kick her out of it.

I don't know if i could hold back if they actually made an entire VF-S clear. WOW, just the thought!

OK what's the deal, has no one opened their clear fast packs in order to keep them mint in box!?! Will i be the only one to display them? (When i get them) Also what's the overall census on them, do you guys feel your Valks look better with the clears on or without? bumpty bump bump!

Wow that 1/60 max pose is awesome!!!! If i wanteds to do somehting like that with a 1/48, what is the best combo? Would it be the exact same, one from each size? I'm going to forward that pic to my buddy right now who collects the 1/60's! Thanks haterist and feayraks!!!!

Uh i mentioned it WTH Fast packs. Average fastpack set is about $60-$70, along with a 1/48 Valk to make it complete can be up to $200. Sure the M&M's are cheaper as the armor come with them. (At some places) I have atually seen several shops selling the M&M's for $215 each! What a rip! To get a complete set (1/48 & Parts) "can" cost around $200. That was my point, of course you can get it cheaper if you shop around and do enough research. IMO the 1/48's look to be worth about $100 WITH fast packs, and the 1/60 i feel are worth about $50 with armor as well. The MPC, should be a $30 toy. Now i know they cost more, and i do pay it becuase i love these toys. And yes i know people have to eat and make a living etc... This is just what i feel the toys are actually worth, yet i still pay the higner price becuase they are just so awesome!!! Maybe if there was some competition and they over produced these Valks they could actually be these prices. Well, one can dream can't he.........

I think i picked the last one up here in the California Bay area. I was searching for a while to find a VF-1S Roy at a decent price. Almost everyone is sold out of the VF-1S Roy and it is now out of print. I know Treasure Island at Frank n Son's has them but they are asking an arm and a leg. $150 at their store (+ tax) $155 on e-bay ($11 shipping and tax in CA) $169 at their web site. http://www.tisinc99.com/mavfvafiroyf.html Almost everyone else is sold out of the Roy. I do hope they produce more Roy's, this is the 2nd production that is sold out and hard to find now. There are a vew VF-1S Hikaru's around though, but i did hear that they stopped production on it as well. So what ever is out there in shops is what's left.

I have to agree with almost all of your points and views. I love the MP-1 Prime, a real heavy die cast toy that is solid! The 1/48's are the best Valks out today, but why are they $200 and not even diecast? Could diecast be in the future for Yamato Valks? Even if they were, if the plastic Valks are almost $200 (with FP's) today, if they were diecast imagine how much more they would be. Sigh..... It is a VERY expensive hobby, but for some reason i am hooked. Plastic is not worth this much money, yet i still pay it. Is the Hound really crap? I thought it looked pretty cool when i saw pictures of it.

Hey kick ass review Haterist!! Thanks, i will defintely pick up a few 6"'s for my 1/48's. My friend however wants some also, but he only has 1/60 Valks. You recommend 6" for 1/48's in Battroid, but wha about 1/60's? He said he wants to display his 1/60's in Battroid mode, is is best for him to pick up the 6 inch ones also?

Hi all! I am still waiting for my clear fast packs from Shawn, and I know many of you guys have got yours already. Have you guys taken any pictures of your Valks WITH the clear fast packs on? I tried searching around and have only found the picture that was originally shown in the January issue of the Japanese Hobby magazine.
