Obviously his english is bad. He's saying they won't have enough to fill all orders, but the people who get 1 will only get 1. How they handle multiple accounts is anybodies guess.

What size ratchet do you need to tighten them?

Yeah the shipping price gouging pisses me off the most. $30 dollar markeup I can understand, due to limited amounts of a much wanted piece. But trying to get away with shipping charges of $60 bucks is close to criminal. No way in hell that make sense based off size and weight. The Registered air mail is about a week and half for $30 bucks, which is what EMS should be. I can tell you if I find Ozma anywhere else they won't be getting my cash haha

Guardians of the Galaxy, on DVD/Blu-Ray December 9, 2014

Yeah all good points. I went back and read an article about the original GOG from the 1990s by the guy who did nighthawk. I remember reading it all vaguely. With the Stark and all that. It's a good read: http://www.newsarama.com/19894-revisiting-jim-valentinos-original-guardians-of-the-galaxy.html I need to dig out all those back issues and sell them as a run haha- 344 replies

That's what I'm saying. They just look at numbers. They make 2k. It sells. Then they maybe make another 1k. And let it slowly trickle down. And they strategically release other things. A yf-29 that's sorta like Arcadias new mold. Ect. Its like this guys said that runs a toy shop that I know, "people only buy SOCs (soul of chogokin) if they get them at PO prices. Anything you don't sell at that point is stock you're stuck with that barely sells. Nobody wants it." They avoid that with Frontier by keeping a slow burn because profit margins on transforming toys is so thin.

I still think the Avengers was better, as I mentioned above. GOG didn't have a "I'm always angry" moment where an iconic character was perfectly synched up with an awesome cinematic moment. GOG are mostly reworkings and deconstructions of old characters and were mostly on the periphery when I was a kid. I had the original GOG comic in the 90's and I couldn't believe that guy with the kine blade was Yondu with the bow and arrow! haha. Point being that the interplay between Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. The fight between Thor/Iron Man/The Hulk. You can't top that. Unchanging Icons that have endured for decades finally given a proper representation on screen. It just doesn't compare. I have no idea how anybody could be bored during the avengers unless you're just addicted to constant action. That was some of the best dialogue in a hero film ever written. Avengers had flaws. Weak villains that were faceless was my main complaint. GOG needed to prove more to me, and it did it. But as I mentioned, some of the themes were overstressed and it felt like they were trying too hard for laughs. I wasn't crazy about Drax either. He struck me more as a quiet, yet intelligent tough guy in the new books. In the film it seemed like they made him a walking joke to fit Batista's limited acting ability. As I think back on it the film as a little sappy... haha. And going back to Ronan... He had that one speech but it didn't really explain why he was a fanatic, or build on his fanaticism. He was just going from point A to point B.- 344 replies

I'm going to review the Miracle Vehicle voltron. I think it has an interesting enough modern history to do a write up for Anymoon if Jenius is ok with it. When I make the time

That's the thing though.. it's a SMALL part of their business, and I doubt retailers ask them to make anything. The whole point of my post is to make the point that transforming mech toys is a niche and it's not how they make ALL their money. It's a risk. Look at Arcadia. Retailers are busying pushing naked chick statues that have a 50% markup and are easy to sell, paying their bills, and making sure people pay their PO's on time. Not to mention managing local sells, employees, overhead, and all manor of crap. Big shops like HLJ and AMIAMI aren't collectors, they ARE businessmen. They have no passion for product other than making money, especially one certain subsection of an anime that isn't big anymore. They are selling Attack on titan patches, and naked swim doods beach towels. (My lady friend loves that crap.) I seen those otaku towels sell for $50 bucks! they probably cost 3 dollars to make. haha Anyway, you'll get one Kaneda
-
I think, again, as with most mech toys, you have to realize it's a niche thing. The guys in upper management see this figure, and this figure and then they print enough to make X amount. Frontier hasn't been on the air in a long time. They know fanatical fans lap them up enough to make a profit, but they aren't betting the house. Maybe there is a middle management guy at Bandai that knows what up, but maybe nobody listens to him. Bandai's part is done weeks ago when they sold their stock to the middle men. Maybe they look back at the numbers as with the Alto and they print some more.

You might be dethroning flightpose. Everybody sits around and bitches but you did something about it. Love the clear I'd like to get at least 1 to see how I like it

yeah, the yf-30 hasn't budged as in it hasn't opened back up. People are saying it was limited too. Yeah I think they will amp up and make more Ozma, but it might be a few months.
-
The yf-30 at HLJ hasn't budged since it opened up a month or so ago.
-
Idk, for something that's been selling for $400+ for over a year... a $30 dollar markup isn't much if you really want one. With registered air mail.. which is only about $30 bucks, it's right at $200. Not insane for a hero Bandai Valk. I agree it sucks, but it's either than or pray you're online when HLJ puts up their tiny stock. Or pray they make more and flood the market like they did with Alto... which I personally think will happen.
-
Yeah I remember getting $30 dollar EMS for my soundwave back in Feb of 2013 and it's twice the size in terms of box. They are gouging with shipping too. But if I find it somewhere else I just won't pay. If they ban me, they ban me. At least I'll have one saved haha

hell. I paid that much for that piece of crap 171. I'll pay that much for an Ozma. haha
-
it's up at NY go go go 30 dollar increase. guess it's better than paying 200+ on ebay haha
-
First come first serve. If you got in at the end of that 45 window you probably won't get one. They were just telling me that on an act 5 stand that sold out the other day. But I Imagine if people who PO'd multiples with the same IP they will catch it and ban them.

It was weird for it to be up so long yeah haha

I cancelled mine. A guy basically said it was Amazon production photos that have been seen 1,000 times and all the production drawings are small and in the margins. Not what I was hoping.- 17117 replies

oof. Glad I didn't buy super parts... or armor parts for that matter. Also, that flushes with NY never doing another round. I hope the guys putting multiples on ebay have to refund their money

They'll be back. And in greater numbers.
