    Holy crap. Just got an Angel Bird and a Cavalier for $300. Both came into Manadarke at the same store The only weird thing is the description for the angel bird: Yamato 1/60 Perfect Trance VF-1A Angel Birds & Fun Racer model kit (clear version) I don't want that kit haha. Anyway, those are the last two rare valks I needed and they seem to be jumping in price again.

    I need to open my super parts. see if I want to keep them. I've never transformed my RVF either! haha. I like him a lot in fighter mode and the color is nice.

    I transformed my VF-25f renewal the other day to sell it to a board member, as I've lost my desire for Bandai renewals, and it wasn't too bad. The hardest part for me was getting the shoulder area and the nose cone reconfigured. Once that part straightens out it's fairly simple. I will say it's easier to fold the arms under for Renewals than for the VF-1 Yamatos. I have it down, but it's still annoying sometimes haha. I think I had the head backwards too, but overall it was easy transformation for my first time back to fighter.

    Yeah things seem to be rising a bit, but don't go to ebay unless its somebody selling a personal collection. I understand they have to add in shipping costs and fees, but it's usually 200 bucks more than market. Yahoo japan is the best place, or buy direct from japanese re-sellers. Everything has been really low recently with even rare valks having a low value. $150-250

    Yeah, it's a whole nother figure with the eyes. I got him sealed so the original batteries were long dead. Didn't realize I had some that fit him til after I took most of the pics. I'll have a video review up soon

    Rinkya are scumbags in my book. They basically tried to throw some late fee on me after they had told me to wait for a bill. What the hell? And I'd spent a lot of money with them in the past. Plus their service had craped out on me a few times and cost me some auctions. I had a big ordeal with them earlier last year and quit their service after they tried to "enforce" some rule that isn't even in their contract or TOS. I've been using tokyobuyers since, but he is scaling down.

    Well, Tokyobuyers is quitting. So I have no service at the moment. Sad, as they were really good at what they do. Can anybody suggest a good service that isn't those parasites at Rinkya? haha.

    Yeah they complain a lot. I feel like if they do any re-issues it will be diecast so they can charge more. I'll probably hold off on a MKV.

    Not sure how I feel about that one... Not crazy about the feet and the colors. It's different though. I wonder if it will be in GOG? I'm more stoked for the silver centurion.

    Yeah, Redlettermedia mentions that the Smaug and Bilbo scene seemed to be the whole reason these movies were made and the dialogue doesn't really fit with the rest of the film in the sense that it's such higher quality. I agree with drew that they could have made a more thoughtful and high-brow version that plays up the magic of the book, and less action movie. But it is what it is. I can always read the book if that's what I'm looking for. I think when all three are out it will be a pretty cool trilogy. It would be nice to see some fan edits where they cut out some of the extras and make a slicker smaller film. (Also mentioned in redlettermedia's review).
