Awesome, thanks. Will display this along with my other Valk collection once my new home is set up
-
i think the latter. If Bandai made more, why doesn't any other retailer get more? Also, probably my guess is a fair number of peeps cancelled theirs when HLJ and Otacute reopened theirs.
-
i got one during the previous HLJ sale where it was almost 40-50 % off I think, but haven't gotten around to playing with it. I did hear about its terrible floppy arm (too weak to hold up without the stand). Is it articulate enough to go into that semi Gerwalk mode as seen in the movies?
-
Perhaps NY got so many this time round because some people managed to get it from other places like HLJ and Otacute, and thus cancelled their NY preorders lol
-
awesome. Hopefully the remaining peeps here will finally get one

From the sound of it, it seems Apart from changing from Die cast to plastic, the same issue with the transformation remained from the 1/72 to the 1/60. Ah well. I still really like the look of it though. Maybe if Arcadia makes a v2/3 YF-19 next time haha

Sounds like the battroid doesn't lock at the hips or something. or the chest.. I'm alright with the gullet, the fighter mode's my favourite look, and I love the battroid all the same.
-
ahhh that's a bummer.. Guess not much playing.. will probably keep it in either fighter or battoroid mode. Definitely not a fan of the Gerwalk, despite it being my favourite Valk. At least I got my 19Kai and P to play with
-
i recetly picked up a 2nd hand YF-19, and while on the surface it looked ok, it did feel a little flimsy in the transformation. Which areas should i look out for specifically?

All i want is a GBP box set.. or at least the armor to go with my VF-1J with Super Pack
-
VF-25F

cool. Guess more will be open from Otacute again? Those who missed it might wanna keep a lookout
-
Oh wow.. that IS an interesting tidbit of info. How did you know? It would be interesting because this just means that many of the scalpers are from Japan
-
Release date is in May I believe. As far as i know, orders have already stopped

Thanks. I'd appreciate that. In the mean time, more stalking for me hahah
-
oh man.. I don't have time to play with it now, and will probably only get to transform it after I move house. Guess I'll have to be even more careful with these than the Yamato ones...

Oh... you lucky dog you. I'm so jelly. How much did you pay for it? I've been hunting off Mandarake too, but no dice. I've kept my alerts on figinstock to look out for it though. Last time I saw it was going for 20,000 yen at a Yahoo Japan Auction with an option to buy it now, but it was gone the next time I checked

sounds like an inherent problem for painted die-cast parts...this happened with my 1/72 YF-19 before Any way to avoid it?

So finally got my very first Frontier Valk in. No bent horn, fortunately... is there any other issues to look out for? I can see why people are saying the Bandai Valks feel floppy after a couple of weeks. It does feel flimsy and the potential to break it feels pretty high hahaha Off course it could just be my imagination.

w..where did you snag that VB-6 you lucky guy, you
-
Keep us posted. Would be interesting to see the outcome
-
Doesn't the system stop you from buying more than 1 anyway?
-
And it's gone. Guess they didn't have a lot of stock. Also probably cause the scalpers didn't know they would have extra stock
-
That'll be cool though. It's the same price as their original preorder
-
Otacute tends to have a stock limit, so it will go to Out of stock status once they run out. Wonder how they managed to get more.
