These are the yamatos...and its the Story Image Figure line...which are actually Trading Figures , 500 yen each. Not sure if they have a similar scaled one to the AS ones.

Yeah the appleseed figures sucked bad. The knee on my deunan broke btw, and i only bent it once. Fragile crap.

Is there any real confirmation if the Yamatos are the same as the Arterlier Sais? Dang these are worth a chogokin. It better be about the same caliber!

I'm looking forward to the Silent Hill movie....or is it going to be a series as you say? Apparently the sets etc look JUST like silent hill. So this is gonna be good. Imagine the different perspectives on Silent Hill they can do using the same set based on different characters? Splash a little blood and gore for this version. Add some fogginess in another. The set can be recycled a few times for different character's perception of SH.

The Aquatic MS gets some lovin this season.

Just to OT a minute since this is a movie thread and not to risk being yelled at for maknig ANOTHER Stealth thread..... where IS the official "Stealth" thread? I see alot of multiple Stealth threads which are locked. I just saw the movie tonight and it was popcorn fluff. Not too bad really if you just wanna see planes zipping by and blowing each other up. Macross fans would be happy to hear it isn't a blatant rip-off of Macross Plus.

Pictures announced today that they will join forces to distribute the first all-CG-animated movie in the long and phenomenally successful history of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" franchise. The announcement was made today by Jeff Robinov, President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Harvey Weinstein of The Weinstein Company. The as-yet-untitled picture will be released early in 2007. The movie will be directed by Kevin Munroe from his own screenplay, developed in consultation with Turtles co-creator Peter Laird. The film will be produced by Thomas K. Gray and Galen Walker. The executive producers are Francis Kao, Peter Laird, Gary Richardson and Frederick U. Fierst. Worldwide merchandising rights for the movie will be exclusively represented by 4Kids Entertainment, Inc. The two studios acquired the worldwide movie distribution rights from Imagi Animation Studios, who had obtained the production and distribution rights from the Mirage Group, which owns, nurtures and manages the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" property.

As funky as the 1st game was, i couldn't bare the gameplay. I got motion sickness playing it, but I'm alright when I'm playing Quake or any other FPS.....

Semantics aside, i knew there was a difference between the shield and bling gundam's coating....but of course you can argue that Impulse's shield refracted off its shield when Shinn VS Freedom.....well let's not go there. I'm guessing even if it was possible, its only possible to have phase shift under the mirror coating. Not sure if this is the case as of now though. Mirror coating logically would be vulnerable to kinetic weapons, thus it will be scratched off or "shattered" by conventional weapons? Only then will there be the phase shift that will take effect protecting the internals from kinetics. The way I see it, mirror coating = fibro fibrous armour, phase shift = endo steel in Battletech universe.

Is it as cool as it sounds? Wow....I guess if they can pull this off well, it would really be a good amusement park attraction. How does a person participate in this? I guess you just follow the marine around on pre-defined routes, and then random actors in alien suits grab you from unsuspecting corners. How does one "escape"? I don't get it. Hehe. Can you punch the alien?

I just seen episode 40. One wonders why Orb doesn't Coup De' Etat the Sarans sooner. It seems everyone would follow the Sarans to hell even when the military is obviously still allied to Cagali and doesn't like Jona much. Who wouldn't....bastard who can't even give orders. Big baldie's afraid of Djibril. Djibril must have some WMD on the moon or something. Something vaguely described as Requiem. Hmmm. I found it funny how the Akatsuki flaunted its chest to receive the beam rifle shots and bounce it back from where it came from. That was so deliberate. I imagined the Akatsuki to have the reflective armour as ADDED protection. Its like you have kevlar armour but you just stand in front of gun fire as if you're invulnerable. (i'm sure it hurts....) So what are the limits of this "anti-beam coating"? Is this just like phase shift, but for beam weapons, and does nuts to kinetic weapons?

I'm not that sure either, but the Ramjet seems to have "Fastpacks" on top of the fuselage. Look carefully and you'll see it. I got the normal flying version of the Mave....its great and all...but becareful of it when you get it. There are no...i repeat NO moving parts on this thing. I thought the wings looked jointed so i tried moving it...and the part where it was glued came off...then the fuel tank at the bottom....and the whole thing seems like a shoddy glue job. Just becareful with it. Its very fragile. The glue they used didn't seem too strong either, so i had to glue it back together at parts. its basically like a ready-painted-glued model kit. Very nice details on it. But the gluing sucks. Btw i am looking for Sylpheeds. There don't seem to be any normal versions around. I only see the clear versions.

Hey armor, can you describe with abit more detail about this ? Do you just simply paint on, wait for it to dry, and then tape it off ? Or is there something more complicated to it? I'm planning to do something like this with my Clone Troopers.

I'm getting Akeep's....and they seem to be missing all the information on the abbreviations. Its all lost on me. I sorta remembered ECS was electronic cloaking system? Beh.....i hope this show does a better job than gonzo's last endeavour. A little more explanation on the lambda drive would be good. Akeep translated Theresa Tessarosa as Telethia or something else....beh...unforgiveable. Overall...this episode was full of action. Loved it.

Not an artsy film, but i started playing Killer 7 on the PS2 only because I like the stylised cel-shaded art shown on the cover of the game. When i started playing it...i'm like....WTF...!? The game system is in 3rd person form, and you walk on an invisible "rail". You can only go in front, and backwards. When there's fork in the rail, you get to choose another path. Like enter the room or continue down the corridor. Battle system switches you to First Person and you got to take down ...urmm...weird enemies who run to you and explode on you while laughing hysterically. Apparently you play a wheelchaired assasin named Harman. I know this from a faq since i was perplexed about my character changing between multiple personalities with different skills. Roite....i'm playing a psycho game. I'm helped by this guy in a BDSM gimp suit who keeps saying weird stuff like "We're in a tight spot".....roiteeeeee.... Story is no less brain churning. The USA is being attacked by terrorists who calls themselves Heaven's Smile. They go around jogging to you and blowing up as they do so with a creepy laugh. What's goin on? You apparently find out more as you go along i suppose. But....i really doubt that.... So...before i stop playing this game...can someone tell me if it has redeeming qualities that wouldn't make me dump this game into the dump?
