  1. At least he had dialogue. Remember the infamous scenes in Evangelion in the lift and Kaworu's death scene. But noted, i don't really like Oshii's abuse of the anime medium either. But Sky Crawlers looks stunning in the animation department at least and its a love story....there's really little where he can go wrong....or maybe i'm speaking too soon?
  2. The teaser is out. Looks promising. http://sky.crawlers.jp/index.html http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-...-movie-streamed
  3. If you've been collecting enough japanese toys, you'll know these web-exclusive stuff are pretty common. The Japanese love the "exclusive"-vity and although a web-exclusive simply means almost all Japanese otakus will get the toy, its still exclusive to Japan and the whole production run is guaranteed to sell out. And besides Yamato gets to sell them at retail price rather than distributor prices. Its not really about the sales sometimes. Its just to show ppl "Yo hay...we're making exclusives" and there are idiots who will buy them.
  4. http://www.flickr.com/photos/18251255@N00/...2355644/?page=2 Pics by tokyohunter. Looks awesome. Some of the stickers are now tampo-printed but some aren't like the UN Spacy Kite and the dreaded No Step signs. Its on presale at Wonderfest but apparently going to be open to preorders on yamato's online site later on.
  5. Destroid Tomahawk looks so damn *(!@#&*(!@ good. Oh NOES! Does this mean the Monster will come out in 1/60 scale eventually? *looks at room space* *sigh*
  6. I love that revoltech is doing the ultimate Gurren Lagann. Super Dimensional Universe Gurren Lagann or something.
  7. Thanks saverobotech. I knew you'd save us. The top vernier on the 1/60's fastpack seem to be pointing upwards. I wonder if its supposed to be like that or it can actually move.
  8. Ppl have said it before, but glossy blue finish never looked so good..... in eugimon's omega pants.
  9. I still have reservations of the VF-25 to be part of Bandai's Chogokin DX line. The Aquarion while it has nice overall sculpt was pretty flimsy and hard to manage as a toy. It couldn't stand by itself without a help of a stand. But that's probably just because of the design of the Aquarion itself. Not too excited yet, but we'll see as more pictures turn up for it.
  10. The 1s season of it anyway. http://randomc.animeblogger.net/2008/02/24...cross-airdates/ And sadly on a 5pm timeslot code geass may not have fanservice no more.
  11. fsking sold. I want MH cyclones!
  12. Where's Saverobotech? He should have pics of it at WF!
  13. Yeah....its by F-Face. He also did the Gunnm figure.
  14. Standard revoltech is 1900 yen. A Figma figure is 2500 yen which is about 3-4 usd difference.
  15. Haruhi 殺してやるこの野郎!!!

  18. Hey i love those shelves Dafunguy used. What are they? Definately better space than the DETOLFs.
  19. Oryzae from moyashimon character is designed for revoltechs! It'll BREW you.
  20. I just found this while surfing board game geek. Looks cool! Thought some of you may be interested. http://www.teardown.se/ Can't play it yet cause i'm at work but will post reviews when I get back.
