I saw a local shop selling these and they DO look awesome. But a question though....my friend told me those are not officially released yet or something and the shop are sellling "unauthothorised" productions. Is it true?

Those are printed. Man the backside of the MH is looking uglier and uglier the more i see it. It would be aweasome if the MH's backpack could fold up more towards the top like the imai.

From the next episode preview, we see multiple angel-like beings with the captions "Adams?" "Lilim+" ? Really curiuous on the plural on Adam.....and Lilim are basically children of Lilith aka Humans....Lilim + sounds like bio-engineered humans or something.

I just came back from it from the theatre. I really like the direction of the movie! Was quite surprised at how well they condensed the tv series. Generally they cut down alot on the supporting characters like touji, kensuke and hikari to the point of they aren't even supporting characters anymore in the movie but concentrated fully around Shinji. I find it strange that this time round, although nothing much has changed in the story, I feel kinda sorry for Shinji rather than feeling annoyed at his lack of spine. The movie made it a point to dwell on his loneliness and how he longs for his father's acceptance but instead was left fending for himself everytime. I felt very sorry for Shinji in this movie and I never thought this could happen!! The only flaw of the movie was due to its condensed format, one may find the movie jumping scenes abit fast. Like one scene Shinji was recuperating from his injuries fighting the 3rd angel. Few minutes later, he was getting punched by Touji at school. I'm used to this and know the story well to follow it but I'm not sure how casual viewers would feel about this. Notable changes to the movie i noticed: Other comments: 1.) Shinji was pitiable that I felt like hugging him 2.) Misato's reprising voice actress....doesn't quite fit with me. Not sure why. 3.) Rei has 5-6 lines in the movie. Maybe 10. 4.) The battles were very beautifully animated. Complaint: The cinema i was at cut off the next episode preview at the end of the credits! I heard like 1 millisecond of the next ep music then they turned on the lights. GAH! Oh well there's always Youtube.

I'd buy small, cheap and detailed die-cast models of nontransformable valkyries like the doyushas. But dang the doyushas are too friccking expensive. I'd pay for less than half the price. If Hotwheels were 9.99 each, i can't see why can't valkyries be about the same price range too.

Don't forget it can also macronise HUMANS, if you'd take Maximilian Jenius as an example of canon in DYRL and M7. And actually yes.....tuna can be that big so its not exactly macronised tuna. That's the funniest thing I've read whole day. Though i think even an elephant's hind legs isn't as big as the drumstick gamlin was holding.

Yeap that's right. Basara was travelling the universe and left his VF-19kai back home at Macross 7. He then comandeered the VF-19P, controlled it by nudging the conventional controls with his guitar. Later it got splattered with whale blood so it has the red fire valkyrie look, he wiped the visor with the battroid's hands and voila...two eyes! VF-19Kai reborn!

I wonder how hard it is to maintain food and sustenance for macronised Zentraedi. Do they need to macronise cows to feed them or something? This macronisation and micronisation technology seems quite practical for some stuff like...unlimited food for all?

It seems like R2 starts with a clean slate and viewers don't know how s1 connects to s2, but are slowly revealed to what happened within that 1 year. Should be pretty awesome as now the whole world is involved, not just Area 11 and Britannia.

HLJ didn't have the stickers. Its a store exclusive apparently and given as a seperate piece at some stores. Damn....and the stickers really gave it more detail.

Loli miclonised zentraedi....mmmm. It appeared on Macross the PS2 game as VF-0 Phoenix. At least what was going to be in the game. The trailer for the game showed that the VF-0 Phoenix and SV-51 (no name) as selectable valkyries. But these VFs never made it in the final game. Trailer can be found on youtube.

Actually I still don't get what kind of custom you're trying to do. An Amdriver with a Mospeada suit? A Megahouse Ray with Amdriver moto Bisar? A Megahouse Ray with Mospeada suit painted to look like Amdriver's moto bisar?

Why would ANYONE do a Amdriver custom? But good question though. I intended to get both but now....

Well thanks to pensive wetness' necro, i just caught this thread. Just thought i'd comment: I think the only parts that were "reactive" were the arms and legs. And it did activate before he discarded the armour (in slow-mo too) showing the armour eject one of those square grids, smashing the bullet and later exploding. And yes GBP-1 looks like normal fatso bolt on armour. Dunno...cuz active radar can't span those distances and your visual range isn't that far? But i'm sure JBO you'd appreciate the Starship Operators anime with realistic space combat. Cannons/guns are fired few lightyears away and when the enemy detects the fire, they know they can't change course to evade it so they just wait a few minutes/hours for their impending fate. So the show is all about maneuvering/out-maneuvering the enemy and fire off 1 shot that hopefully hits. And yes i do find it weird overall why the Macross universe didn't absorb the beam weaponry they could've gotten from the Zents.
