  1. Great. Another Ingram high end toy. I'm glad I'm not that much of a Labor fan. I'm also glad that they're putting Briareos and not the Landmate out, or I'd be in big trouble. The Garland is a must for me. This time they went straight to the Proto Garland tho', I wonder if they're trying to beat Yamato at their own game.
  2. My toughts exactly. The bike alone looks meh. And it's a shame, the Cyclone is a beautiful bike on its own. In the lineart the bike looks more agressive and muscular, like a streetbike.
  3. I've forgotten about that spider tank! How big was it? Is it supposed to be released as a toy or a model kit?
  4. It has a nice paintjob. I skiped the "shiny" one without regret, but now I wonder if should order this.
  5. Okay. Although I want a VF-2ss more, I'll help the Lighting lovers a bit here to persuade Yamato into doing one (sometimes these threads actually reach Yamatos execs). So I'd too get a VF-4 if Yamato makes it for completion's sake.
  6. I sincerely hope so. I really want an Ivanov, but I still think there's a lot to be improved. If they don't improve the SV-51 by the second edition of the Ivanov, I'll have to buy it anyway, but lets hope they tighten the whole thing.
  7. I'll get an Ivanov and a Dobber
  8. Wasn't there a thread about this a few months back, or am I having a deja vu?
  9. Yeah, all Valks (except the VF-1), are about the size of a 1/48 in 1/60 scale and have just as much detail, so I think 1/60 is a reasonable scale for most releases. Of course I wouldn't mind a "More Perfect Than Perfect Transformation Masterpiece Über Fans Edition Mac Plus 1/48" line
  10. One of my all time faves since the first time I saw Mac Plus. Big Rau fan also.
  11. There was a poll some time ago about wich obscure VF's would you want to be made by Yamato. I think the VF-2ss won followed closely by the Lighting, but it ended there. Now, there's this sick thread/game about finding out what is Yamato making right now, using Graham sigs as clues. I hope there's a connection there.
  12. Every time a thread like this pops out, I cast my vote to the VF-2ss in hopes that Yamato changes its mind and finally produce one, so hgere I go again. I think that the reason why Yamato has told us not to wait for those is because of the repaints (as Jeremy stated above). They could do a canon Lighting that might sell well and several repaints afterwards, but it's not such a popular mecha, so who would buy them? On the other hand if Yamato was a bigger company, maybe they could afford to do some obscure mechas once in a while for completion sake. Yamato has grown up a lot since the 1/48's, so there's always hope.
  13. Wow! Thanks for the pics. First time I see pics of the box. Mine's on the way (finally! I was waiting for Tam to get the YF-19 FB to ship them altogether). Poor Shogo was feeling really lonely without his sweethart. Edit: As for the griping of the gun, maybe you should try a bit if nail poloish or superglue to tighten the fingers a bit. I know I should try it.
  14. Hahaha. Good one.
  15. I doubt a Yamato 1/60 VF-1 would be cheaper than a 1/48. I SHOULD be cheaper, but somehow I doubt it.
  16. The shogo figure should have the height of a Star Wars figure (if it could stand up that is). I doubt you can fit Revy in it. I hope Yamato gives us some aftermarket fully poseable Shogos after the Proto Garland.
  17. Graham has been very quiet on this tread lately, which means we already hit it. My money is on the VFX VF-17. It doesn't require lots of engineering like the YF-19 or the SV-51, so in terms of cost and profit, is a win win situation for Yamato. I think when Graham said "saturation, penetration" he was referring to the years he has been bugging Yamato to make it. I remember him saying several times that the 17 is his favorite VF, so it makes sense.
  18. I'm considering on get rid of the magnets altogether and replace them for pegs. Shouldn't be so hard to do with a little planning. The right shoulder one is kinda weak on my red Garland and it's annoying to have it fall off each time I want to pose it.
  19. The thing with Gundam Revys is that you'd have to wait forever for the most recent designs. Guess which Gundam they'd release first?
  20. Haven't had the chance to try the game, but here's a small contribution to this thread: Mistress Chief, weapon of mass distraction.
  21. I'm not a Transformers fan, but a friend of mine just send me this link and I thought to treat you all trannie fans with it: If this has been shown here before just ignore me.
  22. The Cyclone is a toy, the Garland in the middle is a kit and the slaves in the bottom look like gashapon or something. On a closer inspection that IS a Megahouse Cyclone. The sculpt is identical except for the marks on the wheels. Edit: konimon beat me to it 2nd Edit: Nevermind
  23. Hey, Ignacio. Gracias por el scan Ball joints for the wheel arms? I dunno. They better be tight or the whole bike will end up being a floppy mess. So this isn't Megahouse's? All I can read is 6090 Yens, 2008, 1:15 and ABS. Oh and that it stands 13 cm (with the bike on, I guess) That doesn't make it all that different in scale from the Megahouse one, does it? I wonder wich line should I get.
  24. IMHO, Yamato released the Köenig because it was already made. The toy is identical to the 1/100 resin kit. They just adapted it to toy form. Back then Yamato wasn't so strict with the scale if I remember correctly. I hope they do the VF-17 as part of the VFX license. If one cannon scheme and a couple of repaints justify the YF-21 and YF-19, it may as well justify the VF-17.
