Again, sorry for the crooked pics. The slots are invisible in fighter mode and almost invisible in Battroid since they're in the "armpits". I'll take pics of Battroid mode later on.

Hey! Replies already! Thanks for the kudos, boys. Here's more pics. As you can see. the mod doesn't restrain the movement of the arms at all and you can hold the Valk from the chest. It stays very firmly, so you can whoosh the Gerwalk around safely. If you're going to do this mod, just be careful to carve the slots little by little, so they don't end up being too big for the tabs. In any case, the wing roots locking mechanism does most of the job, so you should be fine.

Sorry for the crooked pictures. Fortunately the section you have to carve is splitted in two parts, the main chest assembly and a little plastic piece under the chest that covers the screw that holds the whole chest section together. This makes the whole process easier. To remove the small piece from the main chest assembly, you don't have to unscrew anything, just find the seam with an exacto knife and gently slide the piece down.

Hi all. This is the first mod I'm really proud of. As you all know the Yamato Yf-19 can't lock the chest section in Gerwalk nor Battroid modes. For some reason this was specially annoying for me in Gerwalk mode, so while thinking on possible ways to fix this I stumbled with the most obvious solution: I just carved two small slots under the slots that the toy uses to lock the wings in Fighter mode. The slots need to be angled so the chest is in inclined in an anime accurate position when locked in place. Pics: Here you can see the slot I've made on each side of the chest section. I've removed the arms to ease the whole process. The whole arm is held by a single screw, so it's a very easy thing to do.

I'll just say that Customs here leave a lot to be desired). Long story short: I've never ordered from hlj before and I want to order these, but I need to know if they have a secure shipping method. PHEW! Just finished reading the whole tread. I was a little behind on the new series. The "new" VF-25 (is that it's official designation?) looks more like the 5000 that any other valk. So VF-5000 lover rejoice! You'll have your Yamato VF-5000 toy (sort of) after all

I'm not getting the Nora. I specially dislike the magenta joints, but I want to know if the Nora has any improvements over the Ivanov and get a second run Ivanov, so I'll keep checking this tread

Don't worry Dobber, I'm just getting the Ivanov (when they reissue it) and your scheme. No Nora and no CF. I think most people here feels about the same, so Yamato will have to rush the Dobber up or revise the CF before releasing it.

I guess Megahouse thinks that Stig doesn't need a lot of purchase incentives, being the first release of the line and the main chgaracter of the series. That's why I think Houquet will come with Mint, and Yellow, well, who knows. Maybe another Yellow figure in a dress?

I've been complaining about the rear shock absorber being in the wrong angle since the first prototype pics. If only the rear wheel seated a bit lower, even the rider would look better. I hope it's an easy thing to fix ouselves, since Megahouse seems not interested on improve that.

Looks like the VF-1 Cannon Fodder scheme. Not very impressive IMO. Now, I don't have the official colored lineart around but I do remember it to be very different.

Rey's is also the only bike so far who comes with the crates. Who wants to bet that Mint comes with Houquet?

Okay, Tamim, who's my main anime stuff dealer, has the Helldiver and the Brocken for preorder. I'm a big Brocken fan, but I'm just getting one of these because the "iron pipe" accessory sugests that there will be a second release with at least a sub machine gun. My real doubt here is if I should buy multiple Helldivers. Revoltech has released improved versions of previously released mecha such as the Evas and now the Alphonse with opening leg holster. I'm affraid that they end up redoing the Helldiver with opening leg flaps, storable Rambo knife and opening helmet down the road and end up with a bunch of half a$$ed Helldivers. What would you guys do?

She has (had?) a great voice, but when I bought the Robotech soundtrack like 10 years after I last watched the show, I realized she really can't sing. I still cherish that soundtrack because of the nostalgia tho'.
