  1. ...And with more poseability
  2. I got my stand alone a ouple of weeks back. I was frustrated with the toy because I couldn't deploy the landing gear with my fingertips (I almost lost a fingernail or two), then I tried with a paperclip and now I just love it. Yamato should've included one as an accessory. There's no way of deploying the landing gear without one, but with the paperclip is so easy I now do it all the time
  3. I think Graham has too much on Yamato right now for them risking a rupture with Macrossworld. In other words: we might not know much about Yamato's future releases, but we have them by the nuts
  4. I think this is the place to start discussing these also, tho' they're still a long way off. At 1/24 scale, I'd say they'll be about 6 inches. Probably a bit less. Also I don't think they'll sport a lot of features, like opening cockpit and such, despite the 62 dollars price tag, so maybe we should wait for Kaiyodo to make some Revoltechs of it.
  5. Is that a preorder? So Rei comes first? Too bad about Mint. That figure was spot on. Perhaps they'll sell it with a future release? Here you go:
  6. I meant too bad for Hitler. As for the japanese, I always tought that they have this huge underground complex were they're making an army of mechas to take over the world, subsidied by taxes on all the merchandising of said mechas, such as Labors, Valkyries, Garlands, and Gundams. Heck, for what we know they could even have a division of Köenig Monsters protecting the perimeter by now!
  7. There are no pics of the Beagle Ride Armor yet. Beagle only showed some line art at the announcement. Seems like they're still gauging the reactions of the fans on the other Ride Armors before showing theirs. If Toynami is doing the same, we might end up with an electronic self transformable Ride Armor.
  8. Oooh! Those are beautiful indeed. Specially the first one. The WWII one is a great idea too. Looks like Hitler's secret weapon. Too bad it came out too late to change the course of the war Thanks Drif.
  9. I say let them (CMs) finish it. I'm not holding my breath on it tho'. So far my money is on the Megahouse, but I'm hoping that Beagle outdo them all. They're holding on showing their efforts around after all, so this might be a good sign.
  10. I want to think that all this secrecy surrounding the 21 is due to Yamato's need to protect the engeneering of the best YF-21 ever made. That or Yamato lost the prototype in a fire Sorry, that wasn't funny.
  11. And you could avoid the hassle of actually transform the thing. Sorry, I'm a "perfect transformation" nazi, but I'm getting old and tired of transforming my toys over and over with the risk of broken pieces and all. I hope Beagle learns from the mistakes of both Megahouse and Toynami/Aoshima, and gives us a definitive version. The poor sculpt made by Megahouse's of the bike has me skeptic about getting them. I understand compromises have to be done, but I'm a bike fan and specially a Cyclone bike fan.
  12. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. It has all the nitpicks that I hoped would disappear by the production version stage, but somehow managed to prevail trough the whole development process, such as the collapsed rear shocks and the ugly front of the bike. I still love the crates and Rand (or whatever his name is) is spot on. Stig looks off but that's overlookable. Not so the price tag. Toynami version was to be around the same price and those were bigger. I still prefer Megawhore's, but I'm not so hyped about them now. Edit: Does anyone knows what happened to Toynami's Cyclones, by the way? Are they still coming out?
  13. Do you have a pic of that?
  14. I love the Broken, but I'm not too impressed by the scheme provided by Kaiyodo. I'm not much of a modeller, so I was thinking on an easy way to customize it. I think a brush and some tape will do the trick
  15. How tall are those approximately? Given that the Labors are pretty small in "real life", I'm assuming they won't be much bigger than the Revys, do they? How tall are the Revoltechs, by the way?
  16. For what Graham said about the 2008 being an expensive year, seems like Yamato is planning to release YF-19, YF-21, and SV-51 repaints next year, aside form the "classified" stuff.
  17. I finally got my 19 FP/FB from Tamim las week. I'm overall very happy with it. The locking chest bugs me to no end, so I'm planning a mod. The real bugger is that the battroid head came without the two small gray tabs that go on each side of the jaw. Looks like somebody at the factory just forgot to put those on. Tamim is helping me finding replacements. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm beginning to believe in the "Poor Yamato QC" tale some people has been talking about
  18. It wouldn't surprise me if they were saving the cool accesories for a third release of the Broken
  19. It's been discussed already. I'm so glad I haven't ordered any Revy Ingrams yet I just made my mind on the Broken and the Helldiver: I'll stay away from the High End stuff and buy a bunch of these instead.
  20. I'm curious too. Can you post a screencap? Which one is the VF-14, by the way?
  21. Kiririth have a point there. I said once that a VF-1 1/60 redo would probably retail higher than a 1/48 wich illustrates how absurdly prices have gone up. As for people still willing to pay, well, Yamato is the only game in town for Valks, so we don't have much of a choice there, but in my case, if the prices were more reasonable, I wouldn't have to skip all those sometimes cool repaints and stick to the "hero" one.
  22. I assume the VF-11, VF-0 Reactive armor VF-0d, SV-51 Dobber, YF-21 pics and other stuff is on the way (soner or later, mark my words), so I'll just leave that aside. This is my wishful list in order of importance: Macross: -VF-2ss with SAP (I know, I know, but I just have to try anyway). -VF-17 -VF-22, or conversion kits as some have suggested. -Regults (with included accessories to make either version). -VF-19s "Docker Type" -1/60 Mac Plus "Ghost". -TV Q-Rau. -That 1/60 Monster (help me Lord). -Destroids. -1/48 Enigma scheme to match the GBP Urban Camo (Fast Packs would be nice too!). -1/48 Ground crew w/ vehicles and accessories. -A nicely sized perfect transformation DYRL SDF-1, a la Spaceship Yamato from Bandai (the one with all the little hatches and gimmicks?). -Another vote for the VF-4. Not an all time favorite, but I'll buy it anyway. (You're welcome guys) -Any new VF's are welcome. Non Macross. -Aftermarket fully poseable figures for both my Garlands. -What about those Landmates? Oh, and check out the QC, prices too high, yada yada. Thanks Graham and thank Yamato for the efforts.
  23. I think some of them, like the Garland and the Appleseed figures will be more like toys, kind of like the SDF-1 of the same line.
