  1. Thanks Even with a 3 1/2 and a 5 1/2 y/old little critters (or childs...) you can still have an open cabinet And that´s because here in Buenos Aires, apartments are quite small, so the need for a small cabinet. It´s quite a mess by now, but It´ll do for the moment
  2. Hi . I want to share some quite horrible pics of my collection. I have to take new pics of the newcomers, and hopefully they´ll be taken properly . Please excuse the mess. I´ll update the post whenever I can Thanks !
  3. Waiting for the VF-1j 30th....

  4. Hi everyone ! Coming a little late to the party, but I can´t be happier with the RVF 25 renewal. I´ve transformed twice already, and not a single problem/scratch/looseness... Nothing at all. I´m quite pleased with the quality of the paintjob. It´s really well done. And the head sculpt with the the clear plastic "sensors" (?) is really well done and worth the price. And I don´t mind the "extra part" for the shield. It has a little gap on a side so to keep it during transformation from battroid to fighter mode, and I´m not using the gun pod attachment either. I´m using the gerwalk locking bar (or however it stands for) extended in fighter mode (it hangs trough the arms) and with little care the gunpod stays in place. And I can even use the stand I should mention that I have a v1 Ozma´s and I FURIOUSLY HATE the gunpod attachment part....
  5. Those were the ones I was talking about . I didn´t know that he would made those to you ! Congrats, because they are really pieces of art ! Now, and even greater collection Where´s the SDF-1 ?
  6. Great collection ! But, if I may say. a 1/48 Regult would be about 60 cm high at best ! And I didn´t know they were even made in the first time... :S I´ve seen a tread here with a custom buit one. Do you have one of the ARII model kits?
  7. YEEESSSS !!! Even so, I don´t want to know how much that box is going to cost to bring here to Argentina.... And I´ll have to pay for it...
  8. I´m expecting a VF-25 S/F + Armored parts in a single big box. Just like they did with the V.1 And, if they re-release the Tornado parts, I´m expecting the FULL SET in the same box. Not the ridiculous thing that they did with the former pack.
  9. The paint is amazing. Look at the side of the knee covers... They even have a little "rainbow" painted to match... And the tampo´ed MACROSS ANNIVERSARY on the wings it´s great too. And the black interior makes a world of difference. I can´t wait to have it.
  10. Yes... I suppose you could take that into account... Even so, here in Argentina there´s one new for about U$$ 200 and I don´t think about purchasing it. There´s A LOT of ridiculous things in ebay. Right to that $400 v1 VF-27 you find a $240 RVF-25.... and so on.... I don´t know. I really think that it´s too overpriced at almost VF-4 prices.
  11. It seems to be a piece to "lock" it in place. Even the VF-25 v1 can achieve this crutch trust, but its quite floppy. Maybe it´s only for that. But it could well be an internal piece, and not this ugly thing. It´s a beautiful bird, but I really don´t think that it´s worth the cost, compared to the V1 VF-27....
  12. Hi guys. I do think that Arcadia will devaluate the prices of the Yamato valks too... but, I do think is that it´s going to do it in a very possitive way. I´m not saying that you have to go and sell your v.2 1/60 Roy for $50, but that YOU WON´T FEEL FORCED TO PAY $450 for the same valk. In that I believe it´s a great thing that Yamatos go down in price. They´ll sell maybe at the same prices that Arcadia, more or less, but the almost criminal overprice that we were experiencing in the last few months are going to dissapear for good. Of course VE-1, VT-1, VF-4, SDF-1 are going to retain its value, but now you could OPT to buy it or not... or just wait for Arcadia. If they don´t release it, ok. If they do, and you´ve paid a car´s worth of money for a Virgin Road, there you go.... Please excuse my quite bad english, hoping that you could understand "the idea" behind the post. pd. And my 1/48 v2 Hikaru DYRL is the best valk ever....
  13. And they will. It´s absolutely clear that they will. They could not earn so much with the valkyries, but selling the strike parts for $50, for some pieces of plastic, and it´s a win-win situation for Arcadia. And we´ll pay gladly. Look at Bandai, and you know how all of this works. So, just keep waiting a little more....
  14. As far as I remember from my VF-19K, even with the canopy in one piece, It does connect to the "instrument panel", but it ends in a right angle. Maybe for the YF-19 they could arrange some form of panel, or movable hinge for the front part of the canopy?. And it would be quite practical, given that it´s impossible for the pilot to exit the Valkyrie in battroid mode without it. Mr. K know, for sure
  15. Fair enough. And I agree with you. Maybe I don´t want to admit that I have a "self-destructing-valkyrie" in my shelf... Btw, Bandai hasn´t state anything about this? Anyone fluent in japanese, that could pick something in their forums, maybe?
  16. And that, coming from you, it quite a statement ! You´ve done incredible things too ! But that GBP set is mad... How much work has to be put on that? Gosh....
  17. Hi guys. If I´m correct, the "V1" VF-27 has some of the fixes that came later to the renewals, isn´t it? The swivel point for gerwalk, for example?. And the crotch lock, it seems to be better than the V1 VF-25 at least... I´m planning on getting a V1, when they go down in price, once the renewal is released. Any opinions?
  18. Do I order that RFV-25 and the super parts or buy a new car???

  19. Hi everyone. Reading the comments about my post, I have to say that I made the mistake of reffering to ANOTHER part. The one that folds inwards and below the NUNS piece. I´m sorry for the mistake. Even so, I believed that in the factory some "operator" has to assemble the Valkyrie and partially transform some of it(the arms, for example), and in the case of the upper part of the arms, if you do WHAT THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY, and pull up the upper part inwards the shoulder (parallel to the shoulder line), the NUNS piece came with a lot of stress. I´ve taken extreme caution on that part, and I didn´t put the arms as the instruction says just for precaution. And, if you press too much on the pad, given that that plastic part seems to have durability problems, as all of you correctly point, it´ll broke. Maybe the pin is a little too wide for the hole on the plastic? My bad, again, for the mistake. And, we´ll see how all this turn out
  20. Hello again ! The VF-171 CF came today and, for now at least, it´s safe and sound. Every part in its place and, looking first hand that particular triangle piece, I can see why it brokes. If you don´t fold it in the right way, it´ll fall of. And by that I´m not saying that anyone of us has broke it, but in the factory, when assembling, it only takes "a mistake", and the piece is gone... Well. For now, it´s in one piece. And it´s quite beatiful !
  21. Well, mine has just arrived. I´ll get it tomorow afternoon (yes, sunday....) Now I´m a little terrified, but there´s no glory on hiding from the truth, so, we´ll see if it was just a bad batch of plastic, or if it´s a widespread problem. Has anyone compared bar codes or something like that on the boxes?
  22. I expect them to sell it from about U$S 220 MAX. Even with all the tech involved, the problem with Yamato was not that the Valkyries "were cheap", but that they were expensive, and not selling in the needed quantities. The last Yamato Valkyries were an exception. And, if you look at the cost of the VF-1, adding U$S 60 to a VF-19, it´s not far from a reasonable price. If they charge too much, and they sell the "toys" only to ultra fanatics (like us), they´re going bankrupt just like Yamato. OR (and that´s a big "or") they start putting all sorts of electronic gizmos in the valkyries, to put the price up to whatever they want.
  23. . Sorry to hear that. Maybe I´m lucky, but neither mine, or some people I know from facebook, have any problems at all with the 30th.... Even so, It´s quite a delicate paint app.... a wrong move, and a piece of paint folds into hyperspace.
  24. Hi guys. As Graham mentioned, it´s the stand of a SV-51 / YF-21, but I tell you, it´s big and ugly, but IT´S STURDY AND STABLE. The SV-51 is a big bird, and you can pose it in every possible way, in any mode, with that stand. And in clear plastic it´s a little less horrible. And it´s WAY better than the Bandai stands....
