Depending on how they do it, Max/Milia valks are often "molded white, with large areas of color then painted on" because it's much easier to paint rich red and blue over white plastic, than vice-versa. So even like the lower legs can be molded in white, then the entire sides are painted. So you may end up with the legs having "pink" accents due to being molded in that color, and clashing with "pure" white paint in neighboring areas. (The 1/48 is still the best Milia paint job ever---they did an amazing job having the red paint match the red plastic, and the white paint match the white plastic)

Then on to the next one---Ideas SR-71: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/a0a7940a-e575-420f-ace5-2b7bd3d962c7 I figure being in NASA's scheme, used for research, and even when the USAF had it, it only ever carried cameras, it may "slip past" LEGO's unofficial "no war machines" rule.

N-Y just sent an email moving it to where it was, to 8/31 again.

I'm about the biggest Wing Zero Kai fan around, but 27000 is nuts, unless it's a WAY bigger figure than I think it is. I think I'll just be getting the High-Resolution one.- 6025 replies

That's half the reason I'm keeping this pre-order----they're likely the only way I'll be able to get a VF-31C, and I can't risk another cancel/swap before then.
-
Well, I just paid my pre-order at N-Y. Though if it ends up being pink, I'll have a Milia VF-1J for sale soon...

First really stealthy Sukhoi? I vote for Su-57 Fader. -
Already said, but get a Yeti stand. Get some adapters to accomodate 2 or 3 valks on a single stand, and the "price per valk" drops a bunch.

Su-27 is the "crane" semi-officially, but they do use Flanker as well. I can't think of any Russian jet with an official name. -
This is an F-35 canopy through my totally standard camera's lens--no filter/coating AFAIK: Kind of a pink-gold effect.

Ok, I'll be more specific: I want a high-pressure steel-die injection-molded 1/100 Sandrock. The B-Club kit was rare and expensive back when it was new, it's only even more so now. And ancient by modern Gunpla standards. (and it's not even really Gunpla--more like Gunres).

I've still been waiting 20 years for a 1/100 Sandrock. Not EW, not retconned. The original. THAT is the best-looking version to me, by far. (Plus it's actually on-screen canon for more than 3 mins).

Corrected correction: drop tanks with micro-missile launchers built in. They are shaped very much like the F-5's tip-tanks.

Thundercats had great animation for its day, and the music is still among the best. The show was frankly better than the writing, if that makes sense...

That P-51 was being piloted by Vlado Lenoch, who was killed just recently piloting another P-51. https://theaviationist.com/2017/07/17/popular-u-s-airshow-pilot-vlado-lenoch-killed-in-p-51-crash-with-passenger/ -

All Things Videogame Related: EXTREME VS!!

Hmmn, the sign says NEW DESIGNS by Ishigaki. So I think they're just showing the original designs vs "having nothing to show at all". I'm not expecting to get a Weltall figure. Maybe "Weltall 3.0". PS---transformable Weltall, please? (I don't expect color-change, but physically---it works extremely well--it canonically wears all its kibble on its back). Just have a perma-Id-colored version.- 6879 replies

Combined with Powertrain, and Diesel, this is a disturbing trend---why does everyone keep eliminating Motormaster's main accent color? He's supposed to have PURPLE. Purple frame, purple tanks, etc. The "real" Motormaster even went all-out with a fully purple frame, and it's friggin awesome:- 9275 replies
