That drawing looks nothing like what is seen in the SD Macross series................... Did they use a polaroid camera to snap the shot then scan it? Was the source a VHS tape? In that pic you can't see a thing. Here is a better one..........

Fun fun fun! I wonder what the Harrier Pilots story is......... Woohoo Mig 21's! Note the payloads on the planes before and after sorties...... Planes seem to not loose payloads......... I can't watch Macross 0 episodes more then once. Not my cup of tea. Do the CGI planes in it have the same payload problems? There are pros and cons of CGI I guess....

So as far as this item is concerned, it doesn't look like HG is trying to use Macross Plus images. Also, Cyc is correct about the artist--it's Miyazawa, not Yune. You guys may have chased them out of here but they also chased or put chokers on many a MW Member at the RT site.

I tried to watch a few episodes back when they were fansubbed. After watching the first two episodes, I felt like something was missing. I am going to give it another whirl when I see them at the rental store. I agree that the JAM thing was a little odd.........

I am sure glad I have waited for the price to go down. Unless you think the set was worth the $$. I never did. Price was way too high. I have bought a few of the singles. Looks nice but so does the remastered Mospeada set that I bought that was a fraction of the price ......... Original release price was never okay with me. Had there been a lack of preorders would the price have gone down? We will never know because everyone jumped the gun. Australian release of SD Macross $150Aus................. That ain't bad for 36 episodes. So then the lack of supply in Japan and in the rest of the English speaking world created this demand. Too bad..... Sounds like what happened in the Macross 7 situation for the people in the English speaking world........ No release by a legit source. Here come the bootleggers..... Why does no one care about this bootleg. Maybe we should wear the shoes of someone in Europe or Asia who wants the remastered set but can't get it. HK set is Region 0. To be honest, we should have seen this coming. The remastered episodes were put on the net by a "fan" a long time ago. Folks in HK didn't even have to buy the set. They could have grabbed it off the net for free and used them to make there DVD's. I firmly believe that you should alway buy the legit thing when possible. If it is not available then what are you suppose to do......

Since no one can answer my question I am going to assume that the remastered versions are not available in Japan. Animiego's high price and lack of releasing outside the US created this bootleg. It is there own damn fault.

I don't live in Japan. Have the remastered versions been released there? If not, how else could someone get hold of them and play them on there Region 2 DVD player...............

With TF's there are some good and some bad. RC looks cool. The clear red piece should pop off like the other Energon toys. Remember, Energon is built for kids to play with. It is not a line for fan boys who complain about seamlines, broken hinges, bad hips or proportions. I am not a fan of that Omega. The original isn't the best toy either.

Patience........ Keep an eye on ebay. I got a MIB Ligier Italian Diaclone Mirage for 90$ on ebay. Just keep looking there. I have seen several there. I would rather have a diaclone version then a Transformer version. Remember which came first. Kind of humorous that the original line the toys came from are cheaper in some cases. I am disappointed about this but what can we do.... I like the idea of making them the Stunticon names. I hope they keep the standard decepticon names (SS TC M SW) off of them.

LOL! Black Lion is great! One of my guilty pleasures. You want blood...You want guts.... You want ninjas, samarais, cyborgs and little plot watch this show. I enjoyed it. hell I own it. Just a fun show with little to think about. The ending is the best kind of ending......... It does not end...

Just turn the fansubs into DVD or SVCD or VCD. No one will get hurt. Buy the Region 1 release when it comes out. That is what is important. Until then the only way you can get it and understand the dialogue is through the fansubbers. Fansubbers also give Region 1 disributors a heads up on what is hot. Macross Zero will probably get the typical treatment for licensing: The series will almost be completed and then it will get a Region 1 distributer. In "theory" the Fansubbers stop when the licensing happens.
