  1. Does it sound like Mr K isnt supervising the RA build? Hopefully its more QA personnel on board to have an independant eye...
  2. Was about to post that....ithe anticipation factor has increased tremendously! I was trying to make out roy's antennae but that seems missing! The face mask does have a squinty resemblance to roy but at first squint i thought it was ratchet or ironhide from the old school transformers!!
  3. Nice gritty work! I think my unopened valk model kits are calling to me to do something with em now.....
  4. Haha nice one....i think there were some who didnt have the leg issue with the 0a.... But knowing what we know now...the other option is the upcoming 0 CF! likely @ non sale price's for the 0CF tho... i hope there isnt a damaged box edition, else i will have to restrain myself for my wallet is screaming....
  5. The MG Freedom v2 is looking quite swell! Alas, the one thing am still waiting for is a RG GP-02....cmon bandai....
  6. Thanks! Everything bokeh'ed blurred looks different right? No MB here just the plain old RG Exia..... haha just realised it wasnt that bokeh'ed!
  7. Am comparing more on the price rather than quality, no doubt the hi-metal is newer but at a similar price you could get a used 1/60 valk. Scale your enjoyment of the valk accordingly
  8. Imo the hi-metal line isnt that cheap? For that amt of plastic and size, i would have expected better pricing perhaps. So far have only put down for the regult and glaug as there arent much other equally realistic looking toys available. I think getting even a used v1 1/60 vf-1 yamato would be equivalent to a new 1/100 hi-metal vf-1 in terms of price. And if the opinion is that the v1 vf-1's have issues, well you arent exactly getting a perfect 1/100 hi-metal vf-1 either. The only reason i can see to get the hi-metal is for shelf space.
  9. Not take away from jenius answer, but i was fixing it right after the video was posted, and i didnt put any glue either. The leg stays on as after repairing the half-ball, as the socket closes fully around the ball socket and thus the leg doesnt fall off. The leg came off mainly due to a half plastic ball that is too big, causing the socket not to enclose the ball socket completely. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=41401&page=2#entry1236713 minimal box damage ftw! dang that is a cool price, wish i waited now but then again you never know... Yea next to near mint/very good condition toy a well kept box normally seals the deal...
  10. Thanks to saitousad for the first alert on it! . I didnt think that the damage would be that extensive on the box, and i was quite relieved to find it was only confined on a small corner crease. Yea the discount made buying the $ 0s a lil better
  11. well ami-ami's damaged box 0s finally arrived at 3120 yen off the retail 31200... having chosen registered SAL option, wasnt expecting it till next week but pleasant surprise, it arrived after a week earlier than stated on ami's site! The damage was isolated to the bottom corner of the right flap where it was crinkled, with everything else in new condition! Japan quality! Bring on the reactive!

    Bandai DX VF-31

considering the back and forth opinions on the walkure, idol paint jobs may be the point of no return for some..... Macross F had some ranka and sheryl vf25's idol kits but i dont thk they were exactly sold out items...
  13. been listening a lil bit of maddy after posting in the toys's section due to saburo's awesome blue pics.... before ikenai borderline there was..........

The stand could be just a brace for display purposes...remember there were arm stands in the displays in the beginning but those arent seen now supporting the arms.. OOTB, i wouldnt want any toy to have to depend on a stand, but rather as an option than none. Then, I can brace the toy as and when is desired, so joints remain stiff over time...
