From the way things are, both sides are trying to reinforce ground. The EA won't move in for a direct assualt on ZAFT's bases but at the same time, won't allow reinforcements to come. ZAFT will do all it can to reinforce their bases and hold the line with as much force as necessary. Both sides are at a tug-o-war point. Ack, fix your quotes. What, dropping a PLANT on the world is not justifiable? Massive death toll and damage across the world ain't good enough? Look at our own world after the terrorists attacks. People blamed entire cultures instead of just the groups. People are more easily influenced than you think.

Spoiler: (Hightlight to read): Saviour will not be back until episode 15, and Kira is suppose to "kidnap" Cagalli (i.e. Yuna better call off the honeymoon cuz there ain't gonna be one) which leads to why ORB is going after Archangel. Arranged marriages have a tendency to end with different couples in Seed (Sai and Fllay, Lacus and Athrun) so don't expect this to last long.

The Gamma-version probably has some tweaking done to the engines, but that's outside of the specs so we don't count that. Heck, it's probably not even worth mentioning since it might be a unique tweak (as in DD and Nora only tweaked their Gamma-versions) The only other difference is the Gsh-231 12.7 mm mini-gun. The Alpha-version has 1, while the Gamma-version has 2.

The VAB-2 is official. However, there is no design for it. That pic, unfortunately, is a fan-art as is another pic on the net used by the RPG community. And the VAB-2 is not a predecessor to the VF-17. I don't know where you got that idea considering the VAB-2 was made developed nearly 10 years after the VF-17. Well, Archangel ain't in a position to negotiate considering the crew are all considered EA traitors. I have a feeling that Archangel is carrying all parties still loyal to the Attha family so that just adds to the problem. They're probably carrying the now (considering ORB has the Murasames now) outdated Astrays or just Strike Rouge (i.e. not good). Unfortunately for Minerva and Archangel, they're still outnumbered. And why do I get the feeling Saviour is gonna fall out of the sky ala Freedom in SEED and save everybody's asses? They've got 3 ZAKUs, Impulse and Saviour. They'll live. Oh, and about the Leg flyer, that's a spare. Apparently Minerva has more sections of Impulse in that ship....only question is, why? Shinn is obviously going to detach his legs on that MA...why does he need another set of legs? Symmetry? We only have spoilers up to episode 14...Beyond that, we gotta wait till next month's issues of Newtype and TV Mag.

Give it a moment. They have to set up the story first. In SEED or Zeta, we started off at the middle of the war or at the middle. Here, we are starting from 0 so things need to develop first.

Concerning ORB, the Seirans (Yuna and his dad) are planning a coup since Cagalli is the only one who wants ORB to stay out of this. That's what next week is about. If you didn't get it back in episode 8, you'll get it now. Replacement leg flyer...nothing new. Impulse is a modular system so this is not surprising. Archangel....Wonder who's gonna be in the captain's chair, Andy or Murrue? Blaze Wizard...Blaze pack with wings or more engines? For you people who don't know which packs are which... Blaze = Boosters with missile pods Gunner = Big gun Slash = dual beam gatling guns Not really, Athrun will have his own faction with Minerva (kinda like AEUG). That's kinda why Athrun got Saviour. I'm guessing Athrun is AEUG and Archangel will probably by ...what's that group name in Zeta.....Karaba.

Probably the same logic guiding Isamu in Macross Plus. Too many promotions and you wind up behind a desk instead of a flight stick. Also, when you get around major, you're pretty much a supervisor (in the civilian world). From there on, it gets progressively difficult to get higher. You could either impress the brass really badly, suck up to the brass or have political connections. Either way, you're on your way to a desk job. But a major comes pretty close to a desk as is...

Just checking...... I would say "convert the testbed into more of an operational type". Its design is something more for manueverablity; something to get more out of the VF-0B than just a VF-0A w/ 2 seats. A VF-0B is nice and all being a 2-seater model but it's still a 0A, with 2 seats. Given more time, they probably would have tested what the 0D was designed for, electronic warfare. This would lead to the VEFR-1 and VE-1 mission role.

This kinda goes back to George Glenn. Glenn thought that him becoming a Coordinator would give humanity that one push to becoming Newtypes. He thought that forcing his hand into evolution would push up evolution's timetable. Didn't work that way. More and more people became Coordinators. You have more and more people who are "unnaturally" evolved. This leads to a problem. This is probably why there are so few known Newtypes (namely the Flaga family). The people with SEED mode have the potential but they have yet to show that potential. Of course, you can't tell since that potential is overshadowed by the fact that a majority of them are Coordinators. It's a conflict of natural evolution vs. artificial evolution.

I hope you're referring to just those FAST packs (i.e. legs) and not the field modifcation. They already produced one in the VF-0 lineup....the VF-0D.
