But their immune systems could be a very aggressive one. In time, they could adapt. This would cause problems. A chemical agent would be faster and more destructive. Poisons would instantly be rejected by the body and effects would be near instantaneous. They could adapt to that but by that time, the population would be decimated because you kill entire populations with just 1 strike. It's suppose to be Miguel's brother. But that's for the Astray and MSV stories to tell. Habit.....You go with what the official writtings. Exactly. As I said earlier, each one is practically a prototype replacement for the current models. Gaia/BuCUE, Abyss/GOOhN, ZnO, Chaos/GINN, CGUE, GuAIZ, Providence, Saviour/DINN. Impulse takes a ZAKU and builds on that concept with not only mission-variable packs, but perhaps interchangable sections/main body frame depending on what the mission calls for. edit:....more replies.... Impulse's shield uses that as well (with the Force silhouete), hence the energy field you see when the shield opens. Some how, I don't think it's as good as Forbidden's though. When EA pulls it's head out of their ass from this past week's shameful defeat.

I still say the system works via line-of-sight as opposed to the Nadescio-type system. Much like the microwave system in Gundam X. If you need it, call home and they'll shoot a ray of light at you, so to speak. Cost, usually a factor. Usage is probably another. Most of the MS in GSD don't have the assault capabilities that Freedom or Justice had. Also, the MS in Destiny don't have a METEOR unit as an option so there's no need for that type of a targetting system. Considering he's been training in Impulse for a while, he should be good. Bio weapons may not work. http://www.gundamofficial.com/worlds/ce/ba...tml#coordinator Coordinators carry resistance to diseases so biological weapons would be hard to use. Chemical weapons would probably be more effective since they are move of toxins and agents that no biological life has any resistance to.

Except for the mono-eye.

Screw that, I want to see Cagali get into her Strike Rouge and put her foot up in his @ss. From the magazine previews, it doesn't sound like that's going to happen, at least not within the next 5 episodes (or later for that matter). Although, I would get a good laugh if Cagalli takes Shinn on with her out-dated Strike Rouge vs. the shiny new Impulse.... and wins. Also, the magazine previews indicate a new MA coming to slap Shinn around. And Shinn will get a "SEED mode" at some point within the month (remember, double shot of episodes Chirstmas day). In addition, Kira's wanted man....preferrably a "wanted dead" man.
-
Shinn is young, stupid, and all those other youth qualities. One way to look at it is, Shinn lost faith. Shinn will find his answers much like Kira. One answer will come when he meets Freedom and goes home crying to mommy (At least I hope Kira kicks the crap Shinn).
-
Shinn just needs to move on. It's natural to try to hold on to those you've loved and lost. Shinn's been holding on for the past 2 years. The boy will move on at some point in the series.

I think ________ will make an apperance in the..

Unfortunately, that doesn't count. The Full-Armored VF-0 appeared in episode 3. The thread was for episode 4 and 5. So, unfortunately, that individual's answer...doesn't count. -
Well that's provided they even have Freedom. If anything I'm expecting Freedom to be stashed away at Orb somewhere. Either way. Just hypotheticizing. I've said before it's either waiting at plant, or maybe in storage with the archangel. Either way no one will have beans to say about using mirage colloids and n-jammer cancellers when the war kicks back in gear. I just wanna see Kira slap Shinn around. That's pretty much what Saviour is. He's not going to get Justice or Aegis back....

Again, true. The Prometheus was never seen engaged with the Zentradi.

Z Gundam DVD Set Myth or reality

Then why are you complaining if you're not going to watch it, own it or be part of it? I can understand that your a purist and you would want everything there but it doesn't really concern you since you're not buying it in the first place. Why add to the fire? -
Empahsis on the "NOT" part. Just cuz you see on a beach doesn't mean much. That's an added bonus to being a bi-pedal mech. The Cheyenne was developed at the same time as its "successors". Of course, they're not successors, they're counterparts by that. Again, different role, different design.

Fake Lacus is in Episode 9. And her cheerfulness is kinda freakin me out.....

VF-0 trainer? Huh? Concerning Destroids. Different role, different design. The Destroids (for comparison, let's use the Tomahawk) of SDF were front-line combat units that are to be deployed on the ground. The Cheyenne is a carrier-based, anti-aircraft unit. It's primary location is just behind the bridge tower. If it needs to move to a certain spot on the carrier where coverage is less, then it has to move there fast, hence the wheels. And if it falls off the carrier, it will need to get back up, hence the booster.

Z Gundam DVD Set Myth or reality
azrael replied to Otaku-Smeghead's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
If the music to the openings and ending was the only thing that had to be altered... go buy the CDs and listen to the CD as the sequences play. Or go pay Mr. Sedaka the huge royalty fees and get your songs. Better yet, go buy the R2s or the HK bootlegs if you want your damn songs. -
The VF-0 is not a mass-production fighter. Prototypes and testbed mechs aren't normally subject to production costs like the mass-produced fighters. The VF-1 is however, a mass-production fighter and cannot afford such luxuries of the VF-0's video system. Mass-production has to cut costs in order to meet the demand.

He's attached as Karl Urban's CO. Of course, considering this little tidbit about the movie, I might as well rent Resident Evil. No Mars + no Hell = no fun.

I think this list is for the American audience, not Japanese. Anyways, RT is on there. That just says it all. The only 2 on that I would even consider on that list is Ranma 1/2 and Akira. But those are "vintage" and deserve that recognition. Everything else is too new.

Are you sure? When I (ill-advisedly) watched COTB, which was culled IIRC from the original theatrical release, the toe-tapping sequence was there. Which release did you see? The Compendium lists 2 entries for COTB. One doesn't have a date and the other lists 1995 as the release date. http://www.anime.net/macross/production/an...love/index.html If it was 1995's release, then it might have the toe-tapping scene (Never watched COTB, I watched it raw, ).

Probably just updated with the times. I'm guessing PS-armor has improved a bit in the 2 years since the last series. But then again, beam-weapon technology in addition to the mass-production armor has probably also improved so it's probably no better than the original PS-armor when it was introduced back in SEED.

They are 2 (actually 3, if you include the DVD release, but the DVD release is just the Perfect Edition on DVD) different home video releases (not theatrical releases). The original video release does not have Minmay tapping the floor. The Perfect Edition has the scene. That's the only difference between the 2 editions.

Z Gundam DVD Set Myth or reality

Doh, no update on my DDDVD order yet. That makes two of us...... The street date of Zeta is 12/14. There is still time. In fact, the street date for SEED vol. 4 and 5 is also 12/14, so anytime between now and next monday, you should get your shipping notice. -
Hiding his face from Mu would be one reason. One thing disturbs me, how much do we know about Mu's father? There must have been something more to helping Dr. Hibiki create the Ultimate Coordinator and getting a clone as payback. Also there is mention of another group controlling Blue Cosmos and EA from the Newtype previews (they are in AnimeSuki's and Anime on DVD's forums). I wonder if the 2 are linked (Mu's father and this other group).

Using the "search" button helps. Checking MAHQ.net helps. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...c=3606&hl=octos And using the correct spelling "Octos" also helps. Come on...does no one know how to use the search button? Show of hands?

There probably are sources however, most of them can be found in the mecha descriptions, like those found at MAHQ.net. Char most likely retreated to the Sweetwater colony after Zeta. It was there he gained his following while another Neo Zeon faction rose to the occasion. Char actually resurfaced a few months before Char's Counterattack. During the roughly 4 year gap between the end of Z to CCA, char was able to build his forces. Char enlisted Anaheim Electronics to build his MS fleet. This point was highlighted in CCA. Anaheim Electronics is a huge corporation. Char and the Londo Bell group both commisioned AE to produce mobile suits. The reason they never caught wind of each other till it was too late was due to the fact that each side got a different section of AE building MSs for them. This is how Amuro got the psycho-frame, kind of. Char intentionally leaked the psycho-frame technology to section of AE he got way back and it made it's way to Londo Bell's AE group. How did he get Axis? IIRC, he pretty much bought it. No more aggression if Earth gave up Axis and Char's fleet surrenders at Luna II. That's where Char faked them out. Earth thought he would surrender at Luna II, but he actually wiped them out and retook Axis. (this is all in CCA, buy/rent it and watch it) edit: just some corrections.
