    The panoramic monitors were introduced in 0080 with the RX-78NT-1. It would later find itself in the RX-78GP03S. However, nearly all MSs at this time would still be using a standard cockpit. By Zeta, most MS incorporated a panoramic monitor/Linear seat (including Zeta Gundam). By 0093 (CCA), the panoramic monitor/Linear seat was standardized into all MS. Any mass produced MS pre-0083 would still use a standard cockpit. As we move away from the UC timeline, it becomes a bit more spotty.

    He builds his VFs with Legos to conceptualize the transformation. He then takes pictures and traces an outline of his Lego VFs and then smooths out the rough parts so that it becomes more streamlined. Normally, soundtracks aren't released until about a month after they appear on a show.

    Now that I had a chance to rewatch it (and I suspected it from the screens but didn't recall), those were 3D models of the VF-25. They were probably made using a 3-D printer. The models are probably useful to the CG modelers when doing perspective or panning shots. Hand-drawn shots tend to have disproportional looking parts so it's just a model for the animators to be sure they get the VFs just right.

    MMS, or Multimedia Messaging Service, is normally meant for mobile phone services. Unfortunately, most people in North America don't have a phone that can save streaming media, so we're left with streaming it through our computers. I should note that the mobile phone clips are nice, but rather useless for people in North America since no one here has a phone that can save the streamed media.

    I'm with Graham. Those clips had absolutely no new footage. 3/4 of the PV was from Ep. 1. Some of it was from the 1-hour special...

    Kawamori usually isn't like Gundam franchise which replaces the protagonist's MS mid-season (it's assuming a lot that MF will be more than 1 season at the moment). Usually he'll introduce the new mecha early on and then mod the heck outta it.

    There will be plenty of cameras there already. Wonder Festival is a fairly large toy convention in Japan.

    Most shows are on temporary hiatus until the strike is resolved. Shows with lots of fixed sets are at biggest risk of being cancelled due to rental costs of those sets. At this point, most shows will not complete their full 20-something episode seasons. Those that will are the ones that have been delayed, ones that were done ahead of time, or ones that aren't part of the WGA strike. At this moment, many shows may lose their original timeslots because of reality TV shows.

    Maybe a hallway of Macross stuff? Interesting variation of the Q-Rau. I guess the big gun makes up for the smaller barreled-arm cannons. One wonders where SMS gets the money to have a VB-6 in their arsenal. I guess the VF-171 is Kawamori's answer to making a proportioned VF-17...but like Graham wonders, where can they stick a gunpod on that thing. It feels like they made a VF-17 anorexic and called it the VF-171.

    We don't have an actual date. All we know is April 2008. We'll get a more exact date as we get closer to April.
