  1. The impression I'm getting from the article is that it's a Westerner, looking at a Japanese show through Western eyes, as if the show was made for a Western audience. I'm not sure if this view is appropriate because SDF Macross never had a Western audience in mind. The majority of Japanese animation is created that way, hence Japanese animation.
  2. You may wish to bring the discussion to this thread: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18456 Or you may want to ask the folks in the Models section as this questions is asked a lot in there. For panel lining, I normally use a wash and a liner brush. Some people use pencils, some Gundam markers. It really varies.
  3. Only a few, but just dates.
  4. I've heard Samsung is decent for their flash players. There are plenty of comparison pages out there between the Zune and Ipod so I leave that to those pages. But if I wanted Wi-Fi abilities, I would get the 32GB Ipod Touch and not be crippled by the Zune's abilities.

  6. IIRC, the Evil Series (later Protodevlin) was a trial test to create more powerful Zentradi by the Stellar Republic, not by those who were against the Stellar Republic. And all internal conflicts came to a halt after the Protodevlin and Supervision Army came into power. http://macross.anime.net/story/chronology/...0000/index.html
  7. Have you looked into any of these?
  8. Comcast is already filtering P2P traffic through their routers.
  9. Filtering is nothing new. Even the US is planning content filtering on ISPs. And we've already seen the file-sharing business happen when a bunch of WinNY nodes went offline last month. This topic factors a little tiny bit with this discussion.
  10. Apples and oranges. Unrealistic? When has any anime been realistic? I find it very pointless to compare MSs from various Gundam productions. Not to mention in a Gundam 00-specific thread.
  11. Wasn't that shot just of a VF-25 w/Super parts?
  12. Keep in mind that the Fall season announcements will be next month. Lost isn't like Heroes in terms of production schedules. They will probably end on a cliffhanger. At least Heroes got to end with some kind of ending this season.
  13. This week's episode was pretty good. Looks like the magazine spoilers are turning out to be true.
  14. From what I've heard, most studios will forgo the rest of this season and head straight into the Fall season. In the remaining few months left this season, there isn't enough time to produce an episode and get it on the airwaves so most are just going to move ahead to next season. The bad news is lots of shows laid off staff so they also need to re-hire or hire new staff for the show now. That's going to eat up some time as well.
  15. Good point, but I've never known Kawamori to reveal a terrible amount of detail in his opening credits. Although, he may have changed that with Aquarion (I never watched it so...) A CG posing doll for the VF-25 w/ Super parts/Full armor. It's just a model to help animators figure out how to transform a VF-25 with the addons.
  16. Don't hold your breath... http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,142233/article.html Oh, and when you buy Vista, you don't own it. You license it. The TOS specifically states that: Yeah, I know. Talk about not owning your computer anymore....
  17. Actually, they'll probably start with episode 1 again. Except we'll probably have completed opening and ending themes. At least I hope.
  18. "Pillow Dream". For quick questions like this, please use the newbie thread.
  19. You may wish to PM Mr. March. Apparently, his site has gone down.
  20. When we know, we'll let you know.

  22. It really depends on what you plan on doing. Eventually, everything will be heading to quad-core CPUs. But right now, there isn't a terrible amount of software that really takes advantage of all 4 cores. So this one is up to you.
  23. Okay, a no frills system...Just a word of warning, I can go lower, much lower. And I am throwing in a bit of future-proofing as requested. The board also has built-in video so the video card is optional. In either case, Vista would work. Maybe not for the best, but it will work. And I could drop the price lower, but it would require moving to AMD for the CPU. The E4500 was the only one I saw in stock at most places. Most cases have the USB slots either mid-level or on the bottom. Those that have it higher are a bit more pricy. And for more gamer-class, as suggested, you could swap the E6550 with a E6750. Otherwise, my 1st response to you would definitely handle this category.
