I've tried Vista SP1 myself. I haven't run into any problems there either. It has improved the loading time from POST to the logon screen but then again, I have a low opinion of Vista in general.

Good for a laugh, but there's no real mention of that. The VF-19 Custom was just that, a custom. Actually, it replaced the VF-17 as the Special Operations fighter so Diamond Force would have gotten it anyways.

I've been running SP3 for about a month. No issues to speak of. I have seen a minor issue with Symantec AV but it's nothing that would cripple the system.

Not quite so with Japanese productions. They may have things mapped out months in advanced, but actually 2D/CG/ voice work is probably closer only being about a month-1.5 months ahead. J-Dramas and the hero shows are usually done about 2-3 weeks before they air. I recall seeing with the Masked Rider series, actors were presented with flowers and gifts on their respective final day of filming. With the main actors, this was about 2-3 weeks (sometimes 1-1.5 weeks before) prior to the last episode being on the air. With anime, it's probably not terribly different.

Ghost in the Shell used fairly logical reasons; the body was FUBARed, replacement limbs, black market enhancements and the lot. Brera's body could have been FUBARed. But Grace? This is just one of those unanswered questions at the moment.

And that's 12 hours. Spoiler tags can go off now. I liked this episode, not really for the SDF-4 stuff, but more for the character interaction. The sense I'm getting is that Alto and Ranka have the attraction but they don't really know how to say it or express it. The talk and events of this episode, the glance is the cockpit, the texting, the pushing from the friends, etc. They like each other, but to come out and say it seems to be...an issue. With Minmay-Hikaru-Misa, it was a dream vs reality. With Myung-Guld-Isamu, it was the ties-that-bind deal. With Basara-Mylene-Gamlin, it was a choice she needed over time to make, yet everyone kept pushing her one way or the other. With Shin-Sara, those 2 needed to learn to respect each other's different worlds (Mao acts more like the kid sister in Atonement). With Alto-Sherly-Ranka, I see it as Alto just needs to say it. This may go either way in the end, but right now, this is what it looks like to me. And there was a animation flub. Brera mysteriously gets his gunpod back after Mikhail shot it...
