  1. Full pic of Red Skull from Entertainment Weekly (and movie article): 'Captain America': First look at Red Skull! Plus, director Joe Johnston on why he prefers Cap to a certain man of steel -- EXCLUSIVE (EW.com)
  2. Crysis 2 PC minimum reqs: PC recommended reqs: PC HIGHLY recommended reqs: That should give you an idea of what you need.
  3. There was talk that someone did try to get the license for M7 more than 10 years ago but they would have run over-budget with just 4 episodes and decided to not pursue it. Who it was I'm not sure but the deal fell through due to costs anyways.
  4. Shouldn't need to spoil it since the 1/100 kit is on sale, but....
  5. Here's a read for those who ponder Cyber-brains (re: Ghost in the Shell or Macross Frontier's implants): Cyborg brains: The next evolutionary step (Silicon.com)
  6. At this point, this is the second time a mod has had to step in. Next time = bans. Get back to the topic.
  7. Other. It's simply just a bunch of VFs doing formation flying around on the screen.
  8. How about "Other". IIRC, the 3D VFX footage was just a concept promo for the 2000 Tokyo Character Show by GONZO. It never made it out of pre-production. When you say it is "expanded universe", it would mean it would have to expand on some topic from that universe. It doesn't do that because it was never made into an actual show.
  9. Design Works? IIRC, that's more of a production thing so it doesn't fall into "canon". It is more of a behind-the-scenes so if you want to know the designer's thoughts on the material, this would be what you want to look at. Ride? Not sure yet. 3D VFX? Since it never made it to production, I can't comment. Ace Frontier/Triangle Frontier/Ultimate Frontier? Other. You replay certain points from the entire series so that would rule out any "official setting".
  10. And just to add, anybody asking for cam-rips, subs, DVD/Blu-Ray release dates, or anything else before that information is released, should also expect an insta-ban.
  11. And we keep sayin', that would be an insult to Astro Plan. And that show is already an insult...
  12. Also, Bruce Timm doesn't get into the finer aspects these days. 95% of his work since 2003/2004 is producer/executive producer, which doesn't have much creative pull.
  13. It's the 25th of the month (in Japan at least) and Dengeki's website has stuff from this month. Not surprising...Hakuna's VF-1X++. The fact that one bad turn in that "bakemono" can lead to a "fireball", probably sheds some light on why Hakuna keeps losing in the big races. Engine and performance specs of Hakuna's VF-1X++ (Hakuna Special): 2x L.A.I. ELA-3000 thermonuclear-burst turbine engine (maximum thrust in space 630 kN), emergency acceleration booster unit (output unknown), thrust reverser, 3D maneuvering nozzles. M4.8+ @ 10,000m, M19.0+ @ 30,000m and yes, the thing will turn on a dime.
  14. Almost the same. It would take some re-working and remolding of some of the parts. You won't get as much mileage as you would making all 3 Tallgeese. About a meter taller.
  15. You sure it isn't in the pipeline after they finish with the rest of the EW Gundams? They just need Heavy Arms and Sandrock (both versions) and Altron Gundam EW ver. and they'll be done with that.
  16. My response...
  17. The panel seemed more interested in their laptop screens than the crowd..... As I've said many times and many moons before, you can keep the generic outline of Macross, i.e. Spaceship crashes on Earth. Giant aliens come looking for ship. Big war starts. What they do in between would be free to their heart's content. They can get rid of all the stuff that made Macross and make it their own. No songs, no Minmei, nothing that would require importing. Like BSG, it can be done in homage, but it doesn't define it. It's also the only way it's going to survive, but you can blame certain people and certain selling points for not letting it happen. I have said it too many times; RT has to be rebooted. At this point, it's a necessity. Unless you're one of those people in the panel audience, no one is going to take on a show with 20-something years of baggage to catch up on. They could have done it with RTSC but as soon as they threw in New Generation characters and then Lick Hunter without backstory, the baggage started piling on. They can keep waiting for WB but who knows when they'll do anything.
  18. Aka Red showed up. I'm sure he survived to make it to the series finale or Gokaiger vs. Super Sentai.
  19. Most of the visuals we've seen have been mostly in fighter mode because most of the visuals use kit-bashed 1/72 Hasegawa kits. This novel is being published by Dengeki Hobby, after all. And making a resin kit of more VFs would take some time as opposed to kit bashing a current model kit.
  20. It's still in theaters, unfortunately. Would love to see how Hollywood royally screws this one up... makes this happen.
