  1. First come, first served. This one gets locked. Use Search next time.
  2. Do you plan on actually using it or is it "Oh look what I found! Let's see if it still works."-and don't use it afterwards? If it's the latter, then no, it's not worth it.
  3. Look up private corporations vs. government and you'll get your answer...Which we will not cover here cuz it enters a topic which this site stays as far from as possible.
  4. And to make this somewhat related to RT...makes me wonder what Rick Hunter is gonna look like. That would pull in female watchers.... He's got the crazy hair in this pic.
  5. Maybe... We probably went over this while Frontier was airing, but this highlight in bold on 9/15/2008 from that guest poster goes back to my point about nostalgia. As I said, people create this preconceived expectation of what they want. You, me, everyone. The statement drives the point home. You have this bar set in your mind and when something doesn't live up to it in your mind, it becomes the rally point for all the bad things. With all the years that have gone by with little RT, you have to wonder if that bar for RT fans has been raised to a point where nothing will meet that expectation.
  6. STARSHIP TROOPERS REMAKE IN THE WORKS (SuperheroHype.com) This is one film that could probably use a remake...
  7. In a digital format? Not that I know of. It's just a flight suit, or what they call, inner-wear. They don't really need it to use an EX-Gear. The Search-box is in the upper right corner of each page. Type in the word you wanna search for, then where, i.e. This topic, this section, this forum, etc..., then press Enter.
  8. That would be the nostalgia talking. Let's face it, nothing is as good as it once was. People create that artificial expectation. And it comes from both sides of the aisle. It never is. While they appear to be similar, the context of the shows are fairly different and the subsequent follow-ups go their own ways so you have to ask are we comparing oranges to oranges or oranges to limes. They look the same, but that usually where the comparison ends.
  9. That should be "SV-52". Not "SV-52 Oryol". The "SV-52 Oryol" is a Vanquish-customized VF based more off the SV-51 than the actual SV-52.
  10. Fans of the Variable Fighter Master Files or the RGM-79 Master Archive will be glad to know that the RX-78 Master Archive has a street date. http://blog.yahoo.com/cybergundam/articles/211743/index On sale Dec. 15, 2011.
  11. SYNOPSIS REVEALED FOR THE AKIRA MOVIE? (SuperheroHype.com) Note: This looks like what they're shopping for potential cast and crew members with.
  12. Can we try to keep this Unicorn-centric cuz if you wanna go on about Gundam shows copying each other, we got a thread for that. http://www.macrosswo...showtopic=18457
  13. Production order: * Super Dimension Fortress Macross * Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? * Flashback 2012 (optional) * Super Dimension Fortress Macross II: Lovers Again * Macross Plus * Macross 7 * Macross Dynamite 7 * Macross Zero * Macross Frontier (TV Series) (or the Macross Frontier movies) Chronological story order: * Macross Zero * Super Dimension Fortress Macross or Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? * Flashback 2012 (optional) * Macross Plus * Macross 7 * Macross Dynamite 7 * Macross Frontier (TV Series) (or the Macross Frontier movies) And because it doesn't fit with the main chronological story: * Super Dimension Fortress Macross II: Lovers Again Pick your poison.
  14. Actually, most modern BIOS/UEFI have a boot menu (F11, F12, or some key) so you don't have to change the boot priority order then switch it back.
  15. Skyfall. James Bond is just total code for Rick Hunter. They're all involved in Row-bow-tech.
  16. Techically, Macguire Entertainment is suppose to be producing it with WB being the distributor. In any case, I just wonder how long long the lunatic fringe plans on keeping this up. Oh that name is just code for Row-bow-tech. Oh this one is a code for Row-bow-tech. Oh this company is shivering in their boots cuz of Row-bow-tech. Aren't these people 30 or 40 years old? Are they gonna keep doing this till they're 50 or something?
  17. Tom Bateman, who worked for HG till he moved on the greener pastures, could give you ballpark figures, but the only ones who know are HG themselves.
  18. Attention whores....Only thing equally annoying as forum trolls....I think..... At that point, I would just throw my Stewie Griffin response...again: But you know... but look at the bright side: he has some new material for that animated feature he's been praying for. You know...the animated work he's talking up? You know the the one, uh, they've been workin on for four years? You know that animated feature. Got somethin' new to hype up now. *Voice rising in pitch* You know? Maybe a, maybe a main character gets into a relationship and suffers a little heartbreak? Somethin' like what... what what most diehard RT fans will go through when HG lets them down? Draw from real life experience? Little, little heartbreak? You know? Work it into the hype? Make the characters a little more two dimensional? Little, uh, richer experience for the RT fan? Make those middle 20 minutes really keep the viewer guessing what's going to happen? Some twists and turns? A little epilogue? Everybody learns that the hero's journey isn't always a happy one? *Voice returns to normal.* Oh, I look forward to watching it.
  19. I think he's referring to Final Outpost. But unlike the RT-lunatic fringe, we have no delusions about its production especially when we have plenty of animated, written, collectable stuff coming. How you, uh... how you coming on that animated work called Shadow Rising? Hmm? Got a big, uh, big stack of papers there? Got a, got a, got a nice little story you working on there? Your big -big animation you've been working on for four years? *Voice rising in pitch* Hmm? Got a, got a compelling protagonist, eh? Got a, got an obstacle for him to overcome? Huh? Got a story brewing there? Working on... Working on that for quite some time, huh? Yeah, talking about that four years ago. You've been working on that the whole time? Nice little, uh, narrative-- beginning, middle and end? Some friends become enemies some enemies become friends? Eh? At the end your main character is richer for the experience, yeah? Yeah? Yeah, you've got, uh-- no, no.
  20. So if the school girls weren't in the theater, would you have liked it a little less than? David just likes Grace. Period.
  21. I stopped caring well before 2000... Psssssssssssss.... I was here when that whole drama started... Ya know....Maybe it's time to get back on that pony and bring back the olde Macross convention panels. Then we can edjumacate the youngins' about Macross instead of these Hollywood folks who use obscure '80s cartoon references.
