More like 50% increase in prices after 2 or 3 years my friend. I'm still missing a VF-25S renewal and not worth paying the market price now. I missed out on the VF-19P thinking no problem, I'll wait for it to go on sale. Well we all know how this story ends. Pray for a re-release or pay up. If you see a new valk you want, buy it now cuz more than likely your getting a deal now and it will be a steal in the future.

Yeah I didn't forget about Basara. He definitely is one of the best pilots in Macross but not as a fighter pilot. He scores a perfect 10 on defensive skill but 0 on offence unless you count enemies that have a problem with singing. His singing will have zero affect on another human pilot or cyborg. You gotta give props to Isamu cuz he's still kicking ass in an outdated YF-19 with super parts while every one else is flying a souped up VF-25/27/29.

Best overall fighter? Ha! It's not the plane my friend but the pilot that makes the difference. Give Isamu or Max a VF-1 and they'll smoke any one on any fighter.

Arcadia already knows the ball joint problem. Kawamori also stated he was aware of it when working on the YF-19. The funny thing is he didn't say anything much aside from that. So I'm not really hoping for much. Working with Japanese staff every day, I've come to realize knowing a problem and fixing a problem are two very different things. We won't fix a leak until it floods. No wonder Samsung owns Sony nowadays. Personally for me, I rather sacrifice the lack of mobility and range on my valk's ankles than to have it flop over. Also the look of a ball joint makes my valks look far from the original design. I have no idea why they went with the ball joint again with the YF-19 and it wouldn't surprise me if the 0D has it.

Not the return shipping but the original cost of shipping. I've filed a claim and was reimbursed for the "full amount" paid. I did need to ship the items back but that was due to the seller sending me an entirely different item ordered.

By law - Mommar is entitled to a full refund from the seller, not the manufacturer. Mommar, you should get your full shipping cost back since your paying for the item delivered to you. Now that you made a commitment not to keep it, shouldn't you be recovered from that lost? As a matter of fact your losing out extra for shipping back. Had they shipped the wrong item to you, you are not obligated to ship anything back. Being a victim, I doubt Mommar or Kicker would put themselves in a situation where others would feel the same. So spreading scam ideas is really self serving. I'm more concerned about what AmiAmi will do when they get the defective item back.

I already contacted HLJ and got a response for checking for damages. They kindly replied it wasn't possible to offer this kind of service as they ship thousands of items a day. However, he did mentioned that there is a full customer satisfaction policy with 10 days of receiving the item for exchange or refund. Has anyone managed to remove the hideous "made in China" print under the wings with ease?

I was just thinking about how much you spend on AmiAmi and how much of a loss for them if you stopped doing business with them. However, it would be adding salt to Mommar's wound if special treatment was given for Tier 1 spenders. Good luck. I'm still awaiting for mine from them but ready to file a claim if I get a defective one.

Mommar and Kicker didn't purchase from Arcadia directly. They paid AmiAmi, who in turn should just send them a new one and follow up with a reimbursement from Arcadia. QC Issues may fall with Arcadia but Customer Service falls under the retailer. Had it taken time to self destruct on its own would be a different story. Straight out of the box??? Nope, the store I paid my money should fix this problem for me. I feel for Kicker and Mommar and they have a strong case for a entirely new product shipped to them, not parts.

From experience, what typically happens is that PayPal may ask you to return the item first before even considering a full refund. At that point you will lose money for shipping back, which doesn't make sense at all. ALWAYS pay with a credit card as you will be insured. I see no advantage with using PayPal especially with the exchange rate/charges. Sucks that HLJ only uses PayPal but luckily their customer service reps are much kinder to international buyers. I don't know what sounds more stupid. A $15 dollar refund or a $14 dollar credit with points. Isn't it a general rule of thumb that you offer more credit for the next purchase than less for a refund? Even more stupid is thinking that $15 dollars will make one forget about a broken wing off a $300 dollar valk. "Hey guys check out my new YF-19! Yeah one of the wings is broken but I got it with a $15 dollar discount, what a steal!! Thanks AmiAmi." Bunch of Douches. AmiAmi should be on our blacklist for their $15 dollar so sorry, so sad, life's tough, so be happy with your broken toy since you don't live in Japan CS policy.

Could the fast packs be what's limiting the movement of the wings forward?

Sign me up for one when they're ready. An Isamu reaching out for the sky or touching the YF -19 would be a must have in 1/60 scale. I was a little disappointed that the Isamu helmet off pilot would not be available from Arcadia. Your figures would sorely fill that empty void for me. Looking forward to them. Any chance on making a Sharon Apple?

The Black Friday price was awesome. For that price I would say keep it. You can display one in fighter and the other in battroid mode. Should be an easy sell if you want to keep it for a while for that price. Thanks for the reassurance Mommar. I developed a bad habit of keeping one in MISB and the other for display purposes. I just haven't had the chance to open the other one yet as I'm saving money for a huge display set up for all my valks and 1/6 collection. Tough to save with the purchase 2 mentality.

Really? Are you referring to the 1/72 or the latest 1/60 VF11? I was under the impression after reading many pages that the 1/60 VF-11B or C was built solid. I got 2 MISB, should I be worried?

With the earlier flaws disovered not too long ago, we are getting it earlier? I can't help but wonder if this is going to haunt us and read back later that it should have been released on time if not later. Everything listed should be an easy fix with the exception of the ankles. At the cost that this valk demands, we really don't need to discover an Achilles heel on this one. I'm happy we are getting the 19 earlier but I rather they take their time making sure it comes out perfect.

Hehe, see my avatar? The YF-19 is my grail so I had to get it. Had it been cheaper I would buy more. Had it been more expensive I would buy less. Only with 19 do I buy multiples to display in every mode. As for the rest, they stay as fighter.

Careful Gakks. Falling in love with The Hot Toys Iron Man line could break you. I lost count on how many designation marks are out in the market already as well as currently being planned. I believe there is some all die cast version in the works. One thing I noticed with IM collectors. One is never enough. Suddenly your out 3000 grand for a small army of them.

Everything you said, I totally agree! But for all those reasons is why I'm sceptical. It always happens when something is readily available and no one wants it, suddenly become so desirable. Take the cannon fodder VF-11C. It was available for ages and was on sale for quite some time. Granted it looks a lot cooler than the RVF, but a cannon fodder nonetheless. I don't have real sources to support its production count, but I would assume Bandai produced less compared to the 25F/S because of the Luca factor. If I'm wrong, poor Luca - but I have to admit I dislike him, not hating on him, just don't really like the dude. If I'm right, any Valkyrie with a dish on top should be red flagged.

Yeah man, hopefully this bird is looking around the $200 range. If it is even remotely priced around the YF-19, I just might have to make a pass. Can anyone here justify paying around $300 if it ends up at that price range? I get the whole cost for development thing, but without any extras, fast packs or possibly a stand - that would be pushing it for me. Similar to why I had to pass on the VF-4 lightning. Had it been Hikaru's skull version, I would have bite the bullet for it.

Out of curiosity, how stupidly cheap we're you able to attain that beauty?I came to realize that there is never a perfect grail, at least for me. The YF-19 is my grail. 1/72 - So fugly, I actually had to pass on it although at the time, I didn't think it would be revisited. 1/60 Yamato - my grail came true, bought 4 standard version, 1 bundle version, 2 fast pack sets and 2 limited edition weathered version. Then Yamato released the VF-19 and I quickly lost my grail feelings after comparing what could of have been. 1/60 Arcadia - 3 preorders and thinking this is it! It can't get better than this. But that's what I thought back then with Yamato's 1/60 YF-19. It never ends.

As far as I've seen, they aren't that much cheaper. It's still pretty hard to find an Alto 29 or an Ozma renewal for a decent price. Also the super parts for Alto's 29 along with Ozma's armored parts is just plain stupid on ebay. Be careful of the RVF, that could become the next Ostrich one day. I remember picking up an Ostrich V2 on sale at HLJ for $110. Should have bought 20 of them.

What the hell? A VF-0D? After Yamato went down and Bandai pretty much completed the Macross F valks, I took a short break and collected Hot Toys. I come back for a revisit and suddenly things which aren't supposed to happen are happening. Anything is possible now that a VF-0D is in the works. The timing couldn't be better or worst for me. Already preordered 3 YF-19s, suddenly Hot Toys releases the Crow and Man of Steel on time. Arcadia announces the VF-0D, Hot Toys announces Batman/Bruce Wayne/Alfred set. I'll need to sell blood to keep up.
