Interesting site. I was never a fan of the VF-2SS, however, I think that's just because of my opinion of Macross II: Lover's again. This website has raised some more appreciation of this Valk. I really appreciate the hard work that went into that transformation sequence custom model. Pretty awesome stuff.

Lechuck, I hate to say it, but it does sound like the package got sent back. This happened to me once with BBTS, because they inverted my apartment number. What was strange is, the Post office actually crossed off the incorrect number and wrote the correct one on the package-but then, sent it back anyway! Don't worry, Amiami is great with their customer service. You'll get your item. But is may be a little late.

It's cool Graham is doing this to help the western fans. Otherwise, we'd be up poop creek without a paddle. I have heard the new releases of the 1/60's seem to be fairing much better as far as QC is concerned, which is nice. Sounds like everyone is going to get their old ones repaired quickly too, which is awesome.

For display pieces, they're nice. But if you want to play with your valk-I mean, handle your valk, then they're not so great. I guess most peeps are using them for MISB or for display, so they probably don't care about the sub-par engineering. But for me, that's a lot of dough, and I won't be getting one until they are corrected.

Yeah, I am hoping for a VF-4.

How do you weather colored sections of a valk? I noticed many of the pics above are not weathered in colored areas, such as Max's VF-1A TV. It is just harder to weather colored sections?

That Double Nuts paint scheme is bad ass.

The 22 and 21 are FAR too amazing to be locked in a plastic and cardboard prison. FREE THEM! You will NOT regret it.

Yeah, the 11C is not cheap at all. But it is a beautiful valk. Just don't have this kind of cash right now to spring for one. Even if the 11C did not sell well, I hope we still see a Max and Millia repaint. At that point, I don't know if I'd be able to resist the temptation.

These are some really great tips. Thanks for sharing. Now it's only a matter of deciding WHICH method to use, and WHICH valk to test it out on! THAT is the scary part!

At first, I thought it would look absurd to simply re-color the DYRL to the TV version, but that photoshop mock up has completely changed my mind. For those of you who want a TV version but not a straight up recolor, think of it as a updated TV version. One more thing to consider for the TV version fans...if the ONLY way we're going to get a TV version is a straight up recolor, well...something is better than nothing. But in all honesty...look at that recolored photo! It's pretty bad ass.

Now that is a kick ass toy...er, model. I have the Matchbox one from the 80's. It really needed an update bad. This is definitely worth that long wait!

That price you paid for that 11c was as good as you're going to get. That was a pretty awesome price.
