  1. If some images are correct that long cannon looking thing on its back is actually a detachable gunpod of some sort and probably has the capability of being used like a strike cannon.
  2. So its Miranda, Damn I really thought it was one of the twins cause they share purpleish hair with Mirage. So the seemingly normal looking one in the Jenius family presumably hooked up with a Zolan and that gives us Mirage's ears. The Jenius family really gets around.
  3. This is too damn cool. Awesome Job!
  4. Yeah with the 30 I kinda got lazy and took the 31 I had already built and just changed a couple of details because they're such similar airframes like the leading edge on the 30's wingroot starting immediately after its canards whereas on the 31 it starts slightly behind, two sub air-intakes above the main ones on the 31 as opposed to a single large one on the 30, but I totally missed on the 30 being slightly wider than the 31 and that the 30's LERX (Leading Edge Root eXtension), the bit next to the cockpit area, is much less pronounced than it is on the 31. Where the 171 is concerned, well I'm just happy I even managed to get it too look kinda like its supposed to, I didn't really have high hopes for this one as its design is very hard to pull off in KSP much like real F-117.
  5. I actually like the look of that gap between the nacelles on the 31's. It did take me a bit to get used to it but the more I looked at it the more I thought of how unique of a design feature it is and that it makes sense too. Because if you took away the pod, or if it got destroyed or used up in battle, one could eject it and the 31's design and airframe wouldn't be affected at all. Unlike the 30 which looks very strange and not to mention missing a huge chunk of its fuselage and structural rigidity when its weapons container is deployed, the 31 actually took this into account and as a result its airframe isn't really at all affected by the deploying or loss of its weapon pod except for maybe a shift in its center of mass. And it helps that the 31 gives off total ADF-01 Falken/ADFX-01 Morgan vibes when viewed without its pod
  6. The Kimaris really gave off an Armored Core vibe in that configuration would be really cool to see a Valk skim across the surface like a quadruped Armored Core and the Kimaris in the latest IBO episode, but I guess thats what Gerwalk modes for.
  7. Really!? people didnt like the 30's battroid mode? IMHO I find it to be one of the best looking B modes out there. Theres just something about its proportions that I love about it even its missile pod.
  8. In order to vent my excitement for Delta just around the corner I put together these Valk Replicas in KSP. Tell me what you guys think, did I even come close? 9. Someone told me somewhere a long while ago that Zolans can't procreate with Humans is this true or false, but since Michael is thought to be part Zolan and so is Mirage I guess that notion is false?
  10. I'm seeing a bit of Misa 2.0 with Mirage the only difference being she works directly with Hayate as a wingman as opposed to barking orders over the radio. I guess what im really interested in seeing is how a Jenius whos all "duty above all" would even be on the radar of someone like Hayate whos pretty much disinterested in everything and considering their first encounter wasn't what one would call a good first impression and from what we've seen in preview footage they're going to be at each others throats. Kinda reminds me of Isamu and Guld but with more sexual tension. My guess is Freyja will play some sort of role in getting the two to play nice and grow as people but anything can happen at this point.
  11. You know for some reason I'm actually really looking forward to see how the love triangle between Hayate, Mirage, and Freyja will pan out more so than anything even the Valk on Valk action. I dunno why, but I feel like I'm going to enjoy this triangle way more than those in the past.
  12. Yeah those Missile pods were top side too. I think a design feature of the 262 is to look somewhat identical from above and below to confuse its enemies in a close engagement. Kinda like the false canopies painted on the underside of Canadian F-18's.
  13. I believe those pods are part of the 262's FAST packs. In the preview ep they were missile containers so maybe they can even be swapped out for other things as well kinda like the 31.
  14. In the Delta section, the last photo on the bottom right, with that black and white pic of what looks to be an unknown guy in a Delta Squad jacket and a unknown girl in what looks like the suit Reina was wearing when she jumped out of Chuck's 31 before she "transformed". Could it be they were the original crew of Delta 05 before they went the way of Gilliam and its later handed to Hayate and Freya? Or it could just be concept art.
  15. The SV moniker is pretty interesting, we've only really seen two Valkyries with that moniker so far with the third, the 52 only ever really mentioned, and they all share the fact that they are heavily influenced by Russian/European design language Sukhoi and SAAB and that they are all designs not sanctioned by the UN Spacy. I dont think there were any other Valkyries besides the 52 with the SV moniker in Macross lore. I think SV is just what the Wind guys called the 262 as way of defying the NUNS by using a designation previously used by a previous Ant-UN movement. I hope I'm wrong and Mr. K gives us a bunch of new Valks to fill in the gap between the 51 and 262 but I'm not holding my breath.
  16. Yeah I do agree with you there. I get that they wanted to show the people that hey Delta Squad and the Walkure are here and everything is going to be alright but while they're sliding in and posing the Var crazed zentradi are still on a rampage and endangering civilians. If they did it after they had the situation under control it would make a lot more sense, instead we see Arad just sitting on the ground when they get the call that the Draken III's are headed there way ready to f things up before they spring into action again . Even with the choreography I still believe Delta will give us the most true and satisfying dogfights than any series before it. Although I can be completely wrong and what they give us will be disappointing to all but I have faith that they won't let us down in that regard.
  17. I actually liked when Delta Squad did their little dance maneuver. I admit it caught me completely by surprise but after thinking about it makes sense for the whole Walkure/Delta Squad dynamic thats going on. I love aerial acrobatics displays they are to me at least just absolutely wonderful love letters to an act called flying. Sure dogfights are amazing to behold but an acrobatics display, again to me at least, is just a more purer form flying, nothing more than a spectacle to an audience where no blood is spilled in aggression. I have no doubt in my mind that if say the Blue Angels or the Red Arrows got their hands on some Valkyries there would be some form of dancing involved. And how can one forget Isamu? The one single mecha pilot I can think of who has such an amazingly innocent time with his YF-19 during its first trials as he LITERALLY danced through the air before freefalling and buzzing the whole side of the base in a manner Maverick can only dream of.
  18. I always felt that the events of Macross 30 actually did happen but not in the crazy way it happened in the game which could definitely exist as a game in universe. Aisha, Leon, and Mina were all probably there but the time traveling others probably weren't with the exception of an old wandering Basara who played an integral role in the final battle with Hamaval in powering up the YF-30 Chronos.
  19. Damn its way to hard to chose my favorite but when it comes down to which ones I'll get in toy form it'll have to be both the 31J and and 31C. I really like the color scheme on the 31S but I never really liked the giant emblem on the back. While it no doubt looks great and makes sense in B mode I feel kinda mars the clean and elegant look of Fighter mode. The 31A looks great with its "standard" low-vis paint and double delta wings but I really love the whole aerial acrobatics look of the 31J and 31C and its a huge plus that its a homage to the old red vs blue of Max and Millia so yeah put me down for either one of those two. On a different note has anyone figured out or has a general Idea of where the 31's rear landing gear are located? I've looked at pretty much all the photos of the 31's underside on the net but cant for the life of me figure out where they can pop down from. I thought at first after looking at the 31A they came down from under the wings but thats where a hardpoint is and is also where its arms go. Maybe they are in its legs and their doors are just very seamless, but looking at some photos there hardly looks like any space for them between the 31's internal missile bays.
  20. You know what, I wouldn't be surprised if the SV-262 actually has this ability. We've seen it produce an optical jamming trick on the naked eye when Mirage was trailing it and it "split" into three. So there might be some possibility that it uses a derivative of the hologram tech the Walkure uses for their drones to "dress-up" the 262's as something it isn't.
  21. At first I thought Mirage was Mylyne's kid because at the end of Dynamite 7 Ray tells Mylene that she should go and live on Zola, a planet in the outer ring where Delta's story takes place and also where Delta's Chuck comes from as well. And that could explain Mirage's very long Zolan like ears. Though we don't actually know for sure if Mylene actually did, but what really debunked the idea of Mirage being Mylene's daughter is age, Delta only takes place ~20 years after the events of Mac7 where Mylene was only 14-15 years old and Mirage is confirmed to be 18 so Mylene would've had to have her at 17 which I HIGHLY doubt is the actual case. So that pretty much leaves the rest of Max and Millia's kids as the potential mother. Komillia would be 37 at the time of Mirage's birth though at that point she could have had as many kids as her mother at this point. Miracle would be 31 and the same hold true for her as well. The twins Muse and Therese would be 26 and I think are the best candidates for mother of Mirage as the three of them have Purple-ish hair. Emilia would be 24 and her freebird gung-ho attitude would probably give some reasoning as to why a young Mirage would grow up to be so serious to contrast her potential mothers disposition. Miranda would be 22, the seemingly normal one in the family with brown hair could also be a potential candidate? If she were a direct daughter of Max and Millia, those two wouldve had to have her close to their 60's. Despite looking young Max & Millia are quite old indeed and by the time of Delta are in their mid 80's.
