    Have they specified the VF-31's rate of fire for its beam gunpod? From what I recall from Delta it was more of a PEW--PEW! than a Brrrrrt! or PewPewPew!

    Maybe even a J-20, their layout is very similar especially the Kairos.

    hmm... I think I see a flash of red where the second seat in the YF-19 should be. I don't own a the 19ADVANCE to say for certain but I think the canards are at a steeper angle now.

    In a fight between a VF-27 and an Sv-262 who do you think would come out on top? A VF-27 can go toe to toe with a YF-29 when it has an unmanned drone bolted onto its back but I guess the same can be said of the Sv-262 and its drones seem to have better functionality when attached, acting as pivoting engine pods like a YF-29, giving it the ability to change vectors rather quickly without the need to transform. And the Lil Drakens also seem like a more effective force multiplier by themselves seeing as there are two of them and their armament is better than the VF-27's Goblin which only has missile ports.

    Do you guys think having your most powerful main sources of thrust on your feet, like pretty much every VF, is more advantageous than having it on your back like a YF-21/VF-22?

    I wonder how far those missiles that chased Isamu out of Eden's atmo before he folded to earth traveled? They looked pretty small so I don't know if they were surfaced launched or not.

    Where are the VF-31's backpack thrusters? Are they those little indents at the rear of the root of the wing structure?

    So its like a bunch of Parakeets built a human sized mecha to fight us humans but didn't realize us humans have things like an Abrams or Apache?

    I'd say a SV-52 would have a greater space endurance than a VF-1 without any optional equipment. Its a much larger airframe than a VF-1 so I'd think there would be more internal space for fuel for the main engines and verniers. Though like you guys said, FAST packs for space duty is where the VF-1 pulls ahead being more modular and whatnot, but I wonder what would a SV-52 super pack geared for space would look like? Larger wing mounted boosters, maybe some leg/nacelle armor both with a plethora of extra verniers? I don't know what they could do for the arms, perhaps something like what the YF-21 had mounted between its vertical and horizontal stabilizers? Because of its much longer wingspan I feel like verniers at the tips of the wings would be more efficient than a VF-1 at attitude control, though the SV-52 would probably be heavier so its rotational mass would be larger.

    If by some chance the SV-52 was the main VF in Space War I instead of the VF-1, how do you think the SDF-1 would've fared against the Zentradi? I say Max's rescue mission wouldn't have went as smoothly as it did, due to probably not being able to conceal its wings as well in battroid mode.

    What exactly does a Valkyrie's Air Flow Control do and is it something a RL modern or near future plane can accomplish without the use of overtechnology? I recall scenes like Guld vs Ghost in which they fire off their nose verniers for hypersonic maneuvering and I remember a diagram from the masterfile which depicts altered airflow around the VF caused by the useage of the nose verniers. Is that a Valk's AFC?

    How in the world can Valkyries fly in that zig zag pattern and throw themselves around the air like that, especially those V-9 Ghosts that Brera had with him in the last movie. Are they producing that much thrust or are their verniers that powerful.

    What exactly makes VF-31 a Seigfried rather than a Kairos? Is it the FSW wingtips or its Fold Wave System thing? If they slap a fold wave system on a delta winged VF-31 would it still be called a Kairos? Or if they slap FSW's on a plain standard VF-31 would you then call it a Seigfried?

    Its been a little while since I last watched SDFM, Which episode does Max get his VF-1J? And do they ever mention anywhere how he or anyone else got to have his/her VF painted their own personal colors or is it just a sort of its always been that way sort of thing?

    What can we speculate about the SV-154 Svard's performance? Would it be better or worse than a VF-171? If they were built for Windermerians would it be inherently more capable than your average VF? I doubt it but would Windermere 4's rich Fold Quartz supply somehow make it into a Svard?

    Anybody know whos the VA for Claire, one of the OG Walkure members? I think she was the blonde one. I ask this because the version of that Bakuhatsu song that she's in sounds so much better than Kaname's solo version.

    Kinda sad that Hayate's 31J doesn't come with a dedicated thumbs up hand. Oh well I guess the articulated hands can pull it off, probably.

    Snagged a PO on a 31J a few days ago on Amiami as well as my first Yeti Stand and and now some super parts from NY. Christmas shopping for myself complete. I was going to wait a while before picking up the Super Parts but I figured I probably will never find a better deal.

    Here a few misc. aircraft that appeared throughout Macross and one from Robo... I mean Genesis Climber Mospeada. Such as the MIM-31 Karyovin, QF-3000E Ghost from SDFM, the Drone Fighters from Plus, and the YF-24 Evolution. As a bonus there is also a couple of group shots including the 5th Gen VF family and the Swing Wing Trio: VF-0, VF-1, VF-25 sadly havn't put together a VF-3000 yet. MIM-31 Karyovin QF-3000E Ghost Drone Fighter YF-24 Evolution AFC-01 Legioss/VF/A-6 Alpha BONUS The Swing Wing Trio The Entire 5th Gen VF family that we've seen to date. My computer almost exploded because of this photo op, close to 5000 parts are on screen at once and my frame rate is non-existent.

    Time for a Macross 7 themed update! I recently put together two big bad enemy VF's, the Az-130A Panzerzorene and the beauty of flying wing FBz-99G Saubergeran. But thats not all I also modified a couple of my older VF's to make variants that appeared in Mac7 including a VF-11MAXL and a VF-19S I always thought my YF-19 in KSP was an amazing dogfighter, it combined amazing speed and super-maneuverability along with a high level of agility and stability to make for a really potent airframe. It won the majority of the dogfights I put it in even when outnumbered and even posed a serious threat to 5th gen VF's like the VF-25 and VF-27, if they made just a single mistake more often than not the YF-19 almost always shot them down. But by modifying its shape to that of a VF-19S and giving it more power more than 700 Kn's worth it takes the 19 to a whole new level. I thought at first as I was first putting it together that it wouldn't be as capable as the YF-19 due to deleted canards and short stubby wings, and yes it doesn't fly as nice as the YF-19 and its a lot harder to fly because its a lot less stable, but its combat potential is pretty damn high. The VF-19S won 5 out of 8 engagements against the YF-19 much to my surprise, with 1 draw as both shot each other down in a head on pass.
