  1. I dunno. They probably do. I was just saying, it would make a lot of people happy if they were to make Mospeada toys
  2. This post by Graham makes me think that whatever Yamato is working on, it isn't Orguss, since he didn't mention anything about Yamato. I'm sure Orguss toys would make some members happy here, but I bet Mospeada toys would make even more members happy I don't really know/care much about either really, but I might be tempted by a large scale highly detailed Cyclone figure.
  3. I'm a bit heart-broken. Only a MAYBE on Max & Miria reissues? And possibly without Super parts on top of that? I'm very very sad because I guess I'll never have a 1/48 Super Max unless I want to pay $400+ on eBay. Unless there's some kind soul here on MW that would let one of their extras go at a reasonable price *hint hint* I guess the Urban Camo GBP will be one of the last items released in the 1/48 VF-1 line. Sounds like the 1/48 VF-1 line is pretty much over I am, at least, pleased to hear about the SV-51 and possible low vis YF-19. Those sound exciting.
  4. But, Focker is a real name, so I doubt he would've been offended
  5. This is what I thought also. Wasn't this also the case with the 1/55's? I think the 1/55 Elint and Super O also have more blunt noses than the VF-1 don't they?

I REALLY want a VF-0. I was one click away from ordering one yesterday, but I keep hesitating due to all of these reports of broken shoulders, loose joints, etc. I really really hope Yamato fixes these issues in time for the Shin/Ghost bundle. I guess I'll just have to wait until May for my VF-0. I know we're not in Yamato's intended market of Japan, but I really think they should have some kind of program in place to fix these issues or provide replacement parts. I feel bad for all of you that have broken VF-0 shoulders.
  7. lol. Actually, I think either spelling is correct as both are legit (albeit different) names. My comment was just a subtle jab at Robotech for changing it to Fokker. I guess they thought us American children would have too much fun with a name like Focker.
  8. I think you mean HOLY FOKKER
  9. I'm not sure about that - I don't have a Banpresto. Series 1 is not what I would call super tight, but they're far from floppy. Series 2 seem to have even tighter joints than series 1.
  10. Finally got around to opening the rest of my 1/100's and thought I'd share a quick little pic. Not at all bad considering that I got them all for around $140; about the price of one Yamato 1/48. I REALLY need those Super/Strike parts. You hear me Toynami? [attachmentid=39534]
  11. Never had a single problem with TISINC99.com, and I've probably bought half of my Macross collection from there. Obviously, YMMV
  12. Me too. Surely that can't be high security or anything right?
  13. Just got my series 2 yesterday. I hate the long necks, but they look OK if you tilt the head a bit or as long as you're not looking at them straight-on. The joints seem much tighter on these than series 1. The first series wasn't what I would call floppy, but noticeably looser than series 2. They're not my favorite Macross toy, but since I only paid $55.00 shipped for these, I definitely don't regret the purchase.
  14. That's a matter of opinion and you're likely to get 10 different answers if you ask 10 different people. Personally, my favorite VF-1J scheme is Hikaru's, but that's most likely due to childhood nostalgia. The only difference between any of them is the colors really, though, so just go with the one that looks the most attractive to you.
  15. Quite the contrary. I think the Stealth has been widely (well, at least on these boards) recognized as one of the most QC problem-free of all the 1/48 VF-1's released thus far.
  16. OK. So it's Friday over there now...
  17. Heh! Not too sure that combo would look very good, but I'd love to see it anyway
  18. From the opening of DYRL: [attachmentid=39499]
  19. It wouldn't be weak if LORD KUNGFU would have entered his numbers
  20. Very predictable that Focker's 1S would be the most popular, but I was quite surprised to see that the second most popular VF-1 is the Cannon Fodder. Also, the low numbers on the Super VF-1J Valks combined with the fact that so many people still want them leads me to believe there weren't that many released.
  21. I really love the site. It's very well put together. Like others have said, the coloring is simple yet very attractive. Most of all, I really enjoyed the additional line art such as the inside-cockpit views. Also, it was very cool to see the enemy mecha stuff. I don't have any of the Macross art books, so it's really awesome to see this stuff. If you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism, I think pics of the DYRL Super VF-1A "Brown" aka Cannon Fodder are a bit off. The things I noticed that are incorrect: Arrow on head Black stripe across chest Black stripes on arms and legs in battroid mode Black stripe along fuselage and on wings in fighter mode Shoulders should be all white with red arrows Skull & crossbones on heatshield/FAST packs Thanks again for all your hard work.
  22. If the red stripes on Max's valk leg indicates link with Miria, what does the red stripe on Hikaru's valk mean? Hmmm? Was Hikaru hittin' that behind Max's back?
  23. I guess if you're only going to get one (good luck on that BTW ), then just get the one that is your favorite. For me, the VF-1 is my favorite mech in all of Macross, so it's a no-brainer to recommend the 1/48 VF-1. However, it sounds like you might like one of the Macross Zero or Macross Plus mechs better since you have just recently watched those series. I don't have a 1/60 VF-0 yet, so I can't tell you about the QC issues, but the 1/60 YF-19 is an absolutely fantastic toy.
  24. You, sir, truly are evil
  25. Yeah, like a 25th anniversary reissue of the Max & Miria VF-1J Super Valkyries? Oh, have I mentioned that already? About a dozen times you say? Oh well, one more time don't hurt: "Yamato, please reissue the Max & Miria VF-1J Super Valkyries"
