  1. Thanks for the link guys, I just placed my order for two! Expensive but I suspect they will be worth every penny. Wrapped about the differed payment from Nippon Yassan.
  2. I received mine today, can't understand why this scheme has never been done before - it looks great. It would have been nice to get the option parts, but I'm not that stressed as I have a spare set fom EXO's last run.
  3. Just noticed Nippon Yassan have the VF-171 on sale for $191.00. They must have some extra stock they are trying to clear out.
  4. Count me in for 7 please.
  5. Yeah, I'm grabbing this one. Pre ordered it yesterday through amiami.
  6. I understand your point. It''s just no fun when you try to collect something and you have to virtually win the lottery just to join the lucky few who get to buy a release from Bandai, regardless of the licensing. In the mean time Yamato gets my money.
  7. I wonder how Yamato gets around the problem of licensing, to me it just seems that the Bandai Valks are red hot as they are based on the latest franchise and seem to be produced in smaller quantities. Nothing that hasn't been said time and time again.
  8. You know the more I see this Valk the more I'm liking it, I have one on the way - time to double dip!!
  9. Im in for two at the moment, one to display in fighter and the other in battroid. Price will come into it but I have been setting aside a little extra for this release.
  10. It may be a small shot but that looks wicked! It certainly completes battroid in my mind
  11. No problem, I was looking over the HLJ site and figured there would be a few keen buyers! I missed out through ishop2go, so I'm very pleased to have snagged one this late in the game.
  12. For anyone still looking... HLJ just updated their listing as in stock!! http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN975641
  13. Just grabbed this 19F along with the 17D from amiami.... Its nice to be able to click "buy now" without stressing about missing out!!
  14. If you are referring to the two limited releases of the "double nuts" white with blue and the "Bird of Prey", white with orange. I have both and they are a major step forward from the first release of the YF-19, BUT the more recent release of the VF-19 is light years ahead of any YF-19 release. If you were only going to get one YF-19, I would wait for the V2 that has been hinted at for a while now. It might be a while but it will be worth it! If you need a YF-19 now, the two I listed above are a match to the VF-25's. Hope that helps.
  15. If Yamato is fearfull of the lack of support for something like the VF-0 line perhaps they could look at a similar strategy to how they are rolling out with the VF-4. A limited run of web exclusives is a great way to help out the fans and if it proves to be a success they could add more to the line. Hell, an advance pre order which determines production like the tamashi web orders would be perfect. I think yamatos reputation, particularly after the last couple of releases, has improved a great deal. collectors and fans may be more willing to put down some cash for limited releases. From a business stand point I totally understand their reluctance to revisit the line, however you have to wonder if a V2 VF-0 would be a runaway success.

    DX VF-25G

Funny, ishop2go has the 25G listed through their Macross series shop on the main page. They are NOT taking any preorders- it just states: check after the release date for available stock..... That can't be a good sign.
  17. Hopefully theres enough stock to fill everyone's pre-order and no one will miss out. I think anyone with a payment request should get on to it straight away. It's like most new items, regardless of the category the retailers will hand over the stock to those that pay first or those who have left a deposit.
  18. I'm really loving this Valk, I think it's great to see some unique schemes coming to light.
  19. I wonder if the are locking in payments, in other words "first paid, first delivered" basis?
  20. I had a look over the amiami site this morning and noticed they had brought the VF-171 back to the top of the macross page. Did they open up some more pre-orders? Anybody manage to snag one?
  21. I have to say thanks for the "heads up" I saw your post and then snapped it up. I have one on order from ishop2go but i'm worried that they wont get the quota to supply all their orders. Thanks again.
  22. Got to say I feel kind of lucky with the special box edition.... Checked this morning (melbourne) and saw both versions at Amiami, I thought cool I will grab he limited box edition. Whoops sold out.. Ok so I get the standard edition and move on. Earlier today the preorder opened up again (for the box set) and I managed to get in just before it closed again! I think it will look amazing, now the waiting game...
  23. I have both 27 releases, they are both pretty equal in terms of loose joints and the paint chipping issue that the Bandai's all seem to suffer. As David said they can be easily tightened, I personally find that nail polish works best for the shoulders. The beam rifle that the 27's come with is a beast and in order to hold the rifle in some unique poses you will need to give the joints a coat right out of the box. Very cool Valk, which ever you choose.
